Realme 7 Pro - Unboxing and First Impressions By Shaan Haider

Hello everyone- this is Sean heather, and today we are going to have a quick unboxing of Realme 7 pro smartphones. So we are going to have a look. What are the stuff we got inside this retail box, the device its design highlighted, features specs, along with the all the usual unboxing stuff, but before we start, if you have not subscribed to this channel till now, then hit the subscribe button and the bell icon to get the notification for future uploads. So, first, let's have a look on the retail box. Here you can see we got the Realme and 7 pro branding on the back side of the box. We got some information that Realme 7 pro comes with 65 watt super dark chart technology, we got 64, megapixel, Sony, quad, camera, snapdragon, 720 g processor and 6.4 inch super AMOLED screen, we got 8, GB ram, 128, GB storage and the device we got inside is mirror blue. So let's open the box and let's see what we got inside, welcome to Realme family.

So here we got this card that says that this device is the first smartphone in the world to come with TUV run line, smartphone, reliability, verification, I'm not exactly sure what this certification does, because TUV Rhineland usually provides the certification that how secure is the display quality and the battery performance, whether we are going to face any heating issue or not, etc. But this is a new certification and, as you can see, that realm 7 pro is the first device to come with it. So let's just be happy about it, and here we got some quick start guide and the silicon case for the back panel. So here is the Realme seven pro in mirror blue color and as you can see that it comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. So here we got the massive 65 watt super dart charger, USB type-c, cable and a sim card tray ejector pin as you can see that there is no earphone provided in the box.

So if you're going to buy Realme 7 pro, you will have to get an earphone for yourself. So these are the stuff you got inside the retail box, the Realme 7 pro smartphone 65 watt, super dot, charger, USB type-c, cable, sim card pro ejector pin quick start guide user manual and the silicon case for the back panel. So here is the Realme 7 pro in mirror blue, let's switch on the device, and I'm going to do the quick setup, and after that we will have a detailed look on the device. But while it's booting up for the very first time, I'm going to tell you about few of the remaining hardware aspects that we got android 10, it comes with real me. UI.

We got arena 618 GPU. This is a dual sim smartphone, and we got a dedicated memory card slot as well and record a 4500 my battery, and here we go, and the loudspeaker is really loud. You got a stereo speaker on this device powered by Dolby Atmos, and you can get the idea that it's quite powerful for sure. So, first, let's talk about the design, even though it comes with a 6.4-inch screen and 4000 image battery the device is quite lightweight, and it fits perfectly in hand. So, on the front side, we got massive screen.

The screen is protected by gorilla, glass, 3, and it comes with a pre-applied screen protector as well on top of it. So this is quite nice to have dual protection, and you can see that we got a bit of bezel here and very narrow bezels on the sides of the screen. At the top we got the earpiece in the top left corner. We got the front-facing camera at the bottom. You got the speaker, grille USB type-c port, the primary microphone and a 3.5 mm audio jack, and at the top we got the secondary microphone on the right hand, side. We got the power key with the nice golden accent and on the left side we got the volume keys and the sim card tray slot, and on the back side, we got this dual tone back panel with curved edges and 64 megapixel quad camera setup on the top, and here at the bottom we got the Realme branding and the back of the realm 7 pro is fingerprint magnet.

You can see it's already attracting lots of fingerprints, even though I have started using it like just a minute back here. You can get the better idea that it is attracting smudges and fingerprints very easily. The back panel and the frame both are made of plastic, but because of the frost finish on the back panel, it gives the impression of glass, but the back panel is really gorgeous. The refraction of light is nice as well and because of the curved edges, it provides very nice grip and due to the plastic body, it is very lightweight as well. Overall, the design of real ma7 pro is very nice and flagship level from every angle.

Even though we got a plastic back panel, it looks like glass and gives the impression of a very premium device. The only drawback is it attracts lots of fingerprints very easily. The screen to body ratio is very nice. We got 3.5 mm audio jack and a dedicated micro SD card slot, and even though the device is no tip certified, it comes with water. Replant coating so overall in terms of design and build quality.

Real me 7 pro is a great looking device for sure. Now talking about the screen and display quality, we got a 6.4 inch, full HD plus super AMOLED screen, so the PPI you are going to get is 411 and that's really nice. You can get the idea that how sharp is the display quality of Realme 7 pro and the viewing angles, are very nice and impressive as well. The amount of bezels around the screen are minimal. We got just a bit of bezels at the bottom.

The screen is protected by gorilla, glass, 3 plus, and we got a screen protector here as well, and since this is a super ambitious screen, we got the always on display and also the in-display fingerprint sensor, the brightness of the screen of the realm 7 pro screens. Brightness is also very high, as you can see here, but at the low brightness you can see that we got the issue of pulse width, modulation. That is a very common issue with ability display, but the good part is that real me, 7 pro comes with DC dimming feature that reduces the PWM effect on the screen of real me, 7 pro, but other than that. Everything about the display and screen of Realme 7 pro is impressive. We got 90.8 percent screen to body ratio, coloring, gorilla, glass, 3, plus protection, super AMOLED screen always on display in display fingerprint sensor and the touch screen. Sensitivity is nice as well.

Now talking about the software part realm 7 pro comes with android 10 and Realme UI. So this is the home screen. Here you can see that we got a folder for Google applications. We got tools under which you will find some useful applications like recorder, compass, calculator, phone clone game space, and we got email client as well, and then, if we swipe, then here we can find that it comes with phone manager, file manager, WPS Office and Facebook are pre-installed. If you go to the settings and then about phone section here, you will find more information about the device and, as you can see, that we got android 10 real me, UI version is 1.0. We got snapdragon 720 g 8, GB ram out of 128 GB 113 GB is available, so nearly 15 GB is preoccupied pre-consumed by the room and pre-installed application on real me.7 pro, and here you can see that we got 5.4 GB ram available out of 8 8gb. So if I close all of them, then we got 5.64 GB ram available still so even after installing the games and apps, you will get at least around 4gb ram free most of the time. But in our detailed gaming review of the Realme 7 pro, we will see that how good is the memory management and the ram performance by playing few of the most high-end heavy graphics games? And now, let's talk about the camera, so we got a quad camera set up on the back of Realme 7 pro we got 64 megapixel primary camera, 8 megapixels, ultra-wide angle, lens 2, megapixel, depth, sensor and 2 megapixels dedicated macro lens.

The device is capable of recording 4k resorption videos at 30, fps and full HD resolution videos at 120 fps and on the front side we got a 32 megapixel camera that can also record full HD resolution videos at 120 fps. If you launch the camera application. This is the user interface that you will find on realm 7 pro. So as you can see that it comes with photo video night mode portrait mode, there is dedicated 64, megapixel high resolution mode provided as well. If you go to more here, you will find movie time-lapse: Texas scanner, ultra micro, because we got a 2 megapixel, dedicated macro lens.

Then we got slow motion. Video recording pro mode and panorama for the photo mode we got HDR AI. You got some filters flash, and here you can select the timer and aspect ratio of the pictures that you are capturing. You can even use the AI beautification and if you go to the videos here, we got the super steady shot and the both effect in the video and once again you can apply some filters, and you can select the ultra night mode as well for videography and then in the night mode we got the tripod mode. Starting mode is provided on this device, that's a new addition, and we can individually select the pro mode or the AI mode for night mode and for 64 megapixel picture mode as well.

So let's take few pictures and let's see how good the camera of Realme 7 pro is going to perform in the auto mode, so the focusing speed is really fast. So when I'm bringing the camera close to the object, you can see that it's having issues and focusing properly so now, I'm going to use the macro mode. Let's see whether it's going to work or not. Yes much better, so let's have a look on the pictures that we have just captured. So this is the very first image, and you can see that we got lots of detail here and even after zooming in a lot it's not getting blurry.

You can see the reflection of the light and everything and the color reproduction is so good. It's very much like the real object here once again here lots of detail. If you have a look on this part, you can see all the dirt and everything it's captured good amount of detail, and this is the macro mode. So now the camera was so close, and it's perfect, because this is a very tiny little dry hair and the dirt and everything on this corner. I can't even see clearly, but it's totally visible on the picture once again, great amount of detail is there, so the camera performance is looking really nice, especially for the ultra micro shots and even the regular shots.

They are very nice lots of detail and everything, but the difference is that here in macro mode, the color is a bit more saturated compared to the regular mode, but it is also capturing more detail compared to the regular photo mode here. So the camera performance is looking good for sure. So, in our detailed camera review of Realme 7 pro, we will see how good it's going to be in different scenario, different lighting condition and the different camera modes that we got on real me. Seven pro, especially. I would like to check the starry night mode.

We got here on realm 7 pro, along with other features and options that we got in this device. So overall, real me, 7 pro is a very nice mid-range device. The build quality is nice, the device is very beautiful, especially the back panel is gorgeous. The only problem is it attracts lots of fingerprints and smudges. The screen to body ratio is huge, and it comes with a trendy punch, hole.

Super AMOLED screen 90 hertz refresh rate and in display fingerprint sensor, and the best part, is that even though the back panel and the frame are made of plastic because of the frost finish on the back and the matte finish on the frame, it still looks premium while providing better grip and lightweight experience. While using the device we got gorilla, glass, 3, plus protection, along with a pre-applied screen protector on the display. We got a dedicated micro, SD card slot got 3.5 mm audio jack. The color UI is quite feature rich and productive, and when it comes to camera performance and features, it looks quite promising as well.
