What's up guys today, I've got my hands on the Xiaomi me pad. For now this is a powerful outscore tablet running Android Oreo. So, let's begin with a very quick unboxing inside the box, you will find your user manual and Quick-start guides a USB type-c charging, cable, USB power, brick and last but not least, the Xiaomi me pad for I will put the specs on the screen. So you guys can have a quick read. So on the front, we have an 8 inch, fully laminated IPS display with a full HD screen resolution of 1920 by 1200, with 283 pixels per inch. Furthermore, this is running the snapdragon 660 outscore CPU, combined with the Adrian 5 1/2 you've got 4 gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of internal storage.
Besides, you have built-in dual-band: Wi-Fi AC with Bluetooth version 5, and this is running Android version, 8.1 Oreo with me, UI version 9. On top now, this tablet does not support any SIM cards. This is the Wi-Fi version, but you do have the option to buy the LTE version. Now we have a 13 megapixel camera on the back and a 5 megapixel camera on the front now you're, also getting quite a large 6,000 William battery, which will give you up to 12 hours of battery life depending on use. Now the tablet itself is quite slim and light.
It's 8 millimeters thin and weighs only 320 grams. Now the tablet itself has a metal, aluminum body, and it's finished in black. It does look very nicely designed, and no doubt feels quite solid and decent build quality and the display is bright and sharp with decent colors and the viewing angles are also pretty good. So at the bottom we actually have stereo speakers and a USB type-c port and on the side we have our volume, rocker and power button at the top of the tablet. We have a 3.5 ml, headphone, jack and a microphone, and on the other side we have our micro SD card tray, which can take up to 256 gigabyte cards, and this is not the LTE model, so you cannot in a SIM card. So let's go ahead and see how this device handles full HD streaming and gaming.
Now, as you can see, we can stream a maximum of 1080p on YouTube. It's going to solve all your problems. No, but damn good on you Oh bless your heart. Where do you find it on? The subway saw yours, hey, hey good guy, you get it throw you penguin does not look so different from Scotland. They are sisters, so that was full HD streaming on YouTube.
Let's move on now to the gaming test, beginning with pub G mobile two three four now coming to the cameras on the back, we have a main 13, megapixel camera and on the front there is a five megapixel camera. So here are some samples for you guys to check out so on to the test results. DRM info shows Google Wide vine level 3 in the Wi-Fi speed test. We've got download speeds of forty-seven point: eight megabits per second and upload speeds of nine megabits per second, so we achieved nearly our top speed of 50 megabits per second now in the GPS test. Unfortunately, I was not able to achieve a fix.
It is that there is no GPS support in this tablet. So here are your results for Geek bench we achieved just over five K multi-core and in the an tutu benchmark test to be achieved: 143 K! So let's see how that compares with the others. So here is my top performing Android tablet chart for 2018, showing you the latest tablets and seeing how they compare with each other and, as you can see, the very impressive Xiaomi me pad 4 has taken position 1 on this chart and has achieved an overall rating of nine point five out of ten. Now you can view the full versions of all my charts online at chick's tech, comm and read them at your leisure. So there you have it guys.
That was the Xiaomi me pad for now. Here are my thoughts on this device. This is the most powerful Android tablet which I have tested in 2018. You can absolutely fill the performance and power is a great tablet for multimedia and gaming, and you can play more or less any game, including pub G mobile, with no lag at all aesthetics wise. It does look nice great, build quality along with a full HD screen.
Its ultra slim and portables are great for traveling, and the battery life is truly amazing. You can get ten hours with medium to heavy usage. Now you do have stereo speakers which are actually surprisingly loud for a small tablet. However, on the loudest volume, the sound will be slightly distorted with a slight buzzing noise, so I would not use this device at the maximum volume, but 80 to 95 percent volume is totally fine. Now the GPS is non-existing in the Wi-Fi version, which is what I have here, but I believe the LTE version does come with GPS.
So if GPS is important, for you do pick up the LTE version now, the camera is surprisingly good for both videos and photos. I was actually quite impressed with this tablet. Camera both front and rear, produced great results, so bottom line for the price. This is pure power and performance and Android red runs ultra smooth with me. UI version 9 I really like this tablet, so much that it's become my traveling device, and I've actually ordered a case for this.
For quite a cheap price, and that should be arriving within a few days now again for the price. This is definitely bang for buck. There are a few shortcomings mentioned. However, I will be personally using this little beast, as my daily driver and I have to say: I absolutely love it now. With that being said, I will leave the links in the description, so you guys can check this product out.
That's all for this video don't forget to Like and subscribe. Thank you so much for watching and I hope. You all have a brilliant day. See you the next one guys.
