Poco M3 Unboxing! Snapdragon 662 With Entry Level Price? I Am So "PocoCited"! By Marc Yeo Tech Review

This is the new Poco m3, I'm so excited about this new polo. I'm so excited hey guys. This is Mario here again and welcome back to my channel today, as you guys have guessed from title. Yes, I am unboxing the latest Poco m3, so you get a snapdragon 662 processors, a whopping, 6 000, William hour battery a dual speaker setup, and it comes pre-loaded with the latest smear i12 with Poco launcher. So to me this is a mid-range smartphone, but with much lower price tag and entry level price tag. So how much you guys ask so if you guys saw the launching event two days ago, you will know that the Poco m3 comes in two configurations.

The 64 gig of storage will be selling in Malaysia for ringgit, Malaysia, 599 and the 128 gig of storage will retain. Price will be at united. Malaysia 699 and both variants also have uh four gigs of ram, and it has three colors cool, blue polo, yellow and power black. But if you guys purchase this phone on the first day, sales on 27 November, starting at 12 a. m, midnight which is exclusively on nozzle Malaysia.

You guys will get a very attractive earlier price only for one day, so for the 64 gig variant, the price will be ringing, Malaysia, 4.99 and for the 128 gig variant it will be at ringgit, Malaysia, 599, and on top of that, you guys will also get a free me in-ear basic piston earphone, which is from 12 a. m, to 2 a. m. So without further ado, let's look at the box before I unwrap the plastic, so this time Poco decided to go with the full, yellow, color box, okay, something new okay. So you can see here it's written here, six thousand William hour battery and to the left Poco entry with easy access to google apps you use most ouch, always take a jab on Huawei and to the right the same thing on top nothing, the back, nothing and, as you can see here, the variant that I'm getting is actually the 128 gig of ROM with 4k of ram and the color is actually power black. So, let's start with unwrapping my god, it's always a pleasure and let me lift the box yeah nothing hear hear. You see: Poco logo, okay, the sim injector and the regular warranty card and the booklets okay with that side- and you have a soft CPU case standard ones: okay, not bad, and if you can see here, okay, the Poco m3, it has a 48 megapixel main shooter, triple camera which supports night mode; um; okay, not bad for a sub 500 ringgit phone, and you have a 6 000 William hour battery, which support 18 watt of fast charging, wow, okay and the screen size is actually 6.53 full HD plus screen. Okay, usually at this price point you are, you guys are, will be getting only HD 720p screen, but with Poco entry you guys are getting full HD plus- and this is actually the main star here.

The snapdragon 662 OCTA core processors, which is based on 11, nanometer, processor. Okay, let's put it aside, uh-huh and let's see what's else, okay, so you have an USB a to c cable, not bad and 22.5 watt of maximum charger. Okay. But this phone only x only accept 18 watt of fast charging. Okay, let's do let's do another unwrapping nice.

Let me take up the sticker first. Okay, it has quite some weight on it. Okay, the weight is actually at 198 grams. Okay, maybe because of the huge battery- and you can see here- it has a triple camera set up. Okay to the back and the design is actually quite similar to the older legend.

The nexus 6p reminds me of that. Okay, so you have the triple camera setup, so the main shooter is actually the 4 48 megapixels, and you have the 2 megapixel for Microsoft and also 2 2 megapixels for depth sensor. So for this video recording it can record up to 1080p at 30 frames per second, so unfortunately, you don't have as or OS at this price point: okay, and it's actually plastic bag. So here is actually glossy finish plastic bag, but it's good to know. You know I mean to avoid pink prints on it.

Okay and you have a very rough texture on it, not bad, and on the top, you actually have an IR, blaster and also a secondary microphone, and also this is actually the one that we want. The 3.5 millimeter headphone jack and to the left is actually the sim slot, and you have a volume rocker here, quite click, you don't feel mushy at all, and this one is actually the power button and also serve as a fingerprint sensor, which is actually side mounted and to the bottom. You have the microphone, okay, the type c port and the speaker, so this phone actually has a dual speaker setup on top here and also at the bottom here, which is actually uh powered by high-res audio. So later, we'll be testing on the speaker's capability in the short walk. Okay.

So let me pilot yeah so guys just to show you okay, this is actually the sim tray uh. It can house actually two sim cards at the same time, and also it can actually support one micro SD card okay, which supports up to 512 gigabytes of expandable storage, which, which is actually very awesome. So let me turn on the phone hope. There's some juice left polo, so I will set up this phone and get back to you guys once it's finished setting up so guys, I'm in the midst of setting up the phone. So, as you guys can see here, it actually supports uh, two point four and five gigahertz of Wi-Fi for uh, faster in Wi-Fi connection, so guys I finished setting up the phone so far the phone has been very responsive.

Okay in window is only 60 hertz of refresh weight, but it has a 120 hertz of touch sampling rate, which is actually awesome. I mean it actually increased the score scrolling experience and just to show you guys that actually it has a dew drop notch which houses the selfie camera the 8 megapixel selfie camera, which can shoot a 1080p video at 30 frames per second and for this panel is actually a full HD, plus okay, uh 1080p IPS LCD panel. So to me, I mean it looks quite pleasing to the eye. Okay, I mean, as I said before, IPS LCD panel is actually getting better. I mean even at different angles.

Also. It doesn't feel washed out so good job for Pogo for doing this and yeah. Let me show you the fingerprint test, yep fairly fast, it's not the fastest, but it's actually quite responsive yeah and let's go to setting okay. So, as you can see here, it's actually run on uh mini 12, which is based on Pogo launcher and also it's actually based on still based on android 10. Okay, hopefully we will get an android 11 updates soon and, as you can see here in the launcher, you can see that there's a lot of roadway, but don't worry, you can actually uninstall this bloatware.

Okay, if you don't use it most of it, you can actually uninstall it. So, let's open the camera. Okay and, as you can see, you actually have dark night mode, okay, which should be enabling you to take a better night shot and also a 48 megapixel, shooter, okay, all right. So before we end this video, let me show you on the speaker capability. So, as I said before, this phone is actually it's your window to the future, not bad, so you have uh style coming up from here and also at the bottom firing speakers.

Okay, so uh first impression of the speakers, is actually um. The loudness is actually above average, but you have a little of bass there, but you can't complain much.
