Pixel 4 XL Oh So Orange Street Tech Review - The Android iPhone!

Hi guys its Frankie from Frankie Tech good to see you guys again, and I'm here with the phone that you guys are not waiting for, in fact, I think a lot of you guys that were like don't buy this phone. Frankie tech, don't buy this phone, don't buy this phone I bought this phone guys the pixel for Excel there. It is in oh, so orange and your first look on Frankie tech of the pixel for Excel there. It is- and let's turn it around here, so we can see the back of this phone in oh, so orange, and that is oh, so orange indeed now I know this is a very polarizing phone for you, guys you're, not a huge fan of the pixel line on this channel, but I needed to check this out. Guys. I really wanted to check this out for one thing alone: the cameras, the macrophotography, all this good stuff that you get with pixel phones and there is the phone now initial impressions of this phone yeah.

The top-notch is gigantic, and you see it right there. It is a big top-notch, but this got a lot of sensors in there. A lot of the sold I guess face ID the front camera and other sensors I will say I'm a little disappointed. They didn't include the wide-angle camera on this pixel for Excel. Now you see there with the display.

We have a very nice AMOLED panel, and it's going to put it to max brightness here, let's see if we can do that. I've heard this panel is not too bright, but let's see how it looks right there. It is rated very highly as per display, mate and right now. My initial impressions are. This is definitely a step above the pixel 3 Excel.

In terms of you know the display, and we're running a quad HD display here on the Pixel 4 XL. Let me show you guys quickly. The version that I got now I done have to just get the 64 GB, let's going to zoom in there 64 GB 6.3 inch. Oh, so orange pixel for Excel I did have an option guys that could have picked up a 128gb version, but it would have been the black version and, like hell, I'm picking up the black version, which apparently is just the ugliest. It's got that kind of glossy.

You know black look of the camera sensor, they're all over the phone and I have to say this orange color. It's nice I did not think I was going to like this orange color. It looked very Halloween to me in some shots, and it doesn't look too bad. Let's show you in certain lighting now, lets kind of get into this kind of white lighting that you see there, it looks kind of pink. When you go into more kind of soft lighting, it looks kind of orange.

So it really depends on the lighting of how you use this phone now. I, don't think it looks as orange as it does on the front cover. Then it looks a bit more highlighter orange, but she looks very nice, and the camera sensor doesn't protrude too much as well. I'm still thinking about this kind of edge. Here it's feeling varying I, don't know: does it feel premium? That's something I'm going to have to figure out, but initial impressions is that the edge feels almost like it's like some sort of I.

Don't know it feels almost like a plastic. It feels kind of plastic, II kind of like a hardened plastic, and it doesn't feel like metal. It doesn't have that cool ? metal touch, but talking about display that 6.3 inch AMOLED panel and I can already tell I'm going to want to put on that 90 Hertz in force, 90 Hertz, because right now it looks pretty smooth. Looks very nice. I do like that.

Their bottom bezel is tiny. It's one of the smallest bottom bezels I've, seen it on a phone kind of in their same range as your Realme x2 pros and those other phones, but this top bezel is definitely huge. Snapdragon 840 855 on this phone I really wish. We have seen the 855 plus on this phone, but on the plus side there is a 6 GB RAM in this phone, because you know what pixel is trying to be kind of like iPhone, and they sometimes lower the specs of their devices. I, don't know why? Because you know with Android you need all the RAM you can get, and 6 GB is you know it's ok, but it's not that much I wish they had included at least 8gb on this phone I will have to test to see how this works.

But you know what the initial impression feels pretty smooth. Everything is working very responsibly here, and you know what it is: Android 10, so there are gonna, be a lot of optimizations for this phone that other phones, just don't have now talking about audio. Obviously no 3.5, millimeter, headphone jack you'll need to get the Pixel 3a XL. If you want that, and last but not least, let's wrap this up with the most important part of this phone, the camera, and we have that dual camera set up on the back kind of hard to show you in this lighting there you see, there are the dual cameras on this phone and I think the general experience has been for most reviewers that the single shooter, the main shooter on this phone is impressive. But telephoto is really not that that impressive, let's take a shot here with the pixel for elm three, two one, nice quick shutter there, one of the biggest issues I had with the pixel 3 XL, was the lag from HDR processing I brought that pixel 3 X out with me into Phuket, and it just did not a do.

A good job. I would take photos sometimes, and it just struggled so if this phone can take decent shots, then I will appreciate that, let's do it again. Three two ones! There we go. Let's look at these shots now and the pixel honesty is gonna, be one of the best cameras on any smartphone. You can get and just look into details.

I can already tell gosh if there's any reason to get a pixel guys it's for the camera quality, because this quality is just out of this world. It may surpass the 11pro max in terms of camera quality just for stills for video, the iPhone will reign supreme, but for still images. This is something else so stay tuned for my full comparison. Obviously, between this, the iPhone, 11 Pro max and all the other phones I've been testing. If you do want to see some comparisons between this and the camera quality of the Realme XP Pro and some other phones, let me know as well, but that's it for this pixel for Excel quick.

Look here. Thanks for watching guys, I know, you're, probably thinking Frankie tech I told you not to buy the pixel for Excel. Now you bought the big of Oregon. Listen guys!
