The K62 exchanges the centralized and horizontally aligned camera set with a cooktop in the left corner at the rear, where the cameras and Dual LED flash are. In dimensions it is practically identical to the K51s, being just a little shorter and chubby and having a slightly smaller bottom edge. For those who want a cell phone with Wi-Fi 5 GHz, LG decided to include this in the K62 after removing it in its predecessor but the gyroscope and NFC remain out and Bluetooth is still only 4.1. The screen remains a simple HD resolution LCD, which has increased the little from 6.55 to 6.6 ". The good thing is that LG chose a panel with higher brightness and more accurate colors, keeping the good angle It still doesn't come close to the AMOLED used in rival models, but it doesn't have a brightness distortion as strong as in Motorola devices, for example.

In games, the situation remains more or less the same, being possible to enjoy more basic titles and even some heavier ones without problems, as long as you reduce the graphic quality. But it is good to remember that some games fight with chips from MediaTek, as is the case of Asphalt 9 that presents gagging that hinder gambling a lot.

LG kept the 4,000 mAh battery that failed to give a good autonomy to the K51s. As we have a slightly larger screen and the same chip, the K62's battery is also bad, right? Wrong! The South Korean was able to optimize the Android 10 interface very well to deal with the device's hardware and with that we had an increase of more than 6 hours of use between the models, which means that the K62 can finally hold up to two days away plug for more basic users. Even if you don't let go of your cell phone at any time, you may have difficulty draining the K62 battery in just one day, so if you value good autonomy, you can go without fear. Charging time, on the other hand, was basically the same between devices, which was already expected considering that the 10 watt charger was maintained, so it will still be necessary to wait more than two hours to make the battery go from 0 to 100%. A quick charge of 15 minutes fills only 14% of the battery.

At least, it still comes in the box, doesn't it? The K62 comes with Android 10 from the factory, being up to the time of production of this video in the security package of September 2020, and it is not possible to know when or even if it will receive Android 11. The interface is the same that debuted on Velvet and is present in other models of the K line, with a redesigned look that makes it more similar to Samsung's One UI. Overall, the interface flows well but it is clear that LG has prioritized battery life over performance with a noticeable delay in opening applications for the first time.

One of the few points we had to change the K62 in relation to the K51s was in the camera set or, more specifically, in the main sensor - the company exchanged the 32 MP component for a 48 MP option previously used in the K61, but all another 3 rear cameras, as well as the front one, were maintained. Fortunately, this has made the main camera a lot better compared to the K51s and with the K62 you will be able to take beautiful pictures in environments with good lighting. The colors come out well balanced, in general, and the dynamic range is good for the category but at times we have an exaggerated saturation, even without using the Artificial Intelligence mode. Is it worth using the camera in 48 MP mode? Well, it depends. You will gain a lot in details of what is far, allowing the use of digital zoom with less loss of quality but you will need to give up HDR and the photos take a little longer to be saved in memory.

The disappointment is in the ultra wide camera, which in addition to low resolution still sins a lot in the details, does not correctly correct the distortion of the lens and shows noise even during the day. The macro camera is good for recording plants, animals and other elements in detail, but its fixed focus at 4 cm and low resolution limit creativity. The blurring camera, curiously, doesn't even seem to make a difference since, in general, only photos with faces will allow portrait mode to be activated, but at least the result is reasonable. The K62's biggest problem is in a dark environment - while Motorola has understood that even a cheap device needs to take good pictures at night, LG continues to ignore this demand and the K62 comes without night mode, being almost useless in this type of scenario. If the situation is already bad with the main camera, then the ultra-wide camera is of little use, just like the macro.

The front camera follows exactly the same quality that we saw in the K51s, managing to record good images even in environments with poorer lighting. If you like a more tanned tone, you can use the Artificial Intelligence mode that warms up the images and prioritizes the exposure of your face. The portrait mode continues to fail enough here. The K62 records in Full HD with the main camera, ultra-wide and the front. The quality is reasonable, with auto focus that works well and good stabilization for the price range, in addition to recording stereo audio with focus for the voices.

But then, K62 or some other model? The main alternatives in Brazil today are Galaxy A21s and Moto G9 Play. The Samsung model delivers better performance and should have more support for software updates, while the Motorola model does better on cameras but loses somewhat in multitasking performance and battery life.
