OtterBox SYMMETRY CLEAR SERIES Case for iPhone Xs Max Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

Sup guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small second today, I am back with another big unboxing for you for the iPhone 10s max, and today we're back with the case from Letterbox. This is gonna, be their symmetry Series in the clear version to unbox. Do a quick review as always I'll throw up the link in the video description. Pricing is definitely gonna, be steep at 49 bucks. Looking around, you probably try to find some coupon codes, yeah, Letterbox, comm or Best Buy's got it like a bundle deal so definitely want to look around because it's quite expensive for just one case.50 bucks we'll look at it together to see if it's a hit or miss. It's definitely taken a lot to win me over for that price point, because there's so many options that have clear cases that are a lot cheaper, but obviously Letterbox definitely says the standard and for overall protection, or at least right up there with the best of them.

So we'll check this one out together, guys very premium presentation which you would expect at the Letterbox logo symmetry sleep protection. You can see it's for the iPhone 10s got a little symmetry on the side and the back is gonna. Tell little more details about the draw protection. That's pretty much it very cleans presentation which you'd expect as well from Letterbox and the one thing I like about these style cases is, if you're, in a store, if you want like a Best, Buy or Target whatever, and you want to check these out. Usually you can just bust it open to see if it fits on your phone right off the gate instead of taking it home, and you know realizing, it was amiss at that point.

So that's really nice, if you guys had the opportunity to check it out before you buy it. So I will see this room together, though, to see if it meets that hit mark or if it's a miss, let's pop it out like that. So here's the actual case itself. Now the first thing I did notice. Obviously, it's got that crystal clear back, which is gonna, show off the phone itself, but it kind of it's a hard plastic that feels a little more sturdy than a lot of the clear cases.

So it transitions from this crystal clear. It's almost like a frost on the sides, and it actually gives you some very nice grip on the sides. It's very drippy, there's just a little subtle, Letterbox logo right, our various little branding. That's pretty much! All you're going to get the rest of its crystal clear where it says you know very clear back in the transition to this bumper style, and it's got some gift to it, but it's very, very almost pretty hard shell in terms of overall plastic, and it doesn't appear to be any type of I. Don't think you're going to get any type of discoloration on this one.

Just because what they deal with the sides, you can see what they did on the sides of that that that frosted color it kind of would help out with the discoloration that you know tends to happen on some of these cases where they get yellowish. Color I think that that will help out with the discoloration I could be wrong, but I think just my first impression that it will obviously these don't last as long as some other cases, just because they're crystal clear give it a quick wipe down. We before we pop it into place, make sure it looks gorgeous it's the one thing about these. They constantly need a wipe down if I see some dirt on there. My OCD kicks in.

Obviously you love seeing that beautiful glass back through the character the case itself, but if you got like a little piece of dirt in there just driving me nuts, that just me letting off a little rant. Excuse me pop it in a place like this as I turn my camera on. Okay, let me give it another quick wipe down looking gorgeous so that this one thing is about these cases. They look nice. So you can see you got that crystal-clear! Look to it very, very nice! It's actually got a nice feel to it.

It's not as bulky as most Letterbox cases, so don't think you're getting a huge bulky case. This is gonna, add a lot of protection but doesn't add a huge amount of bulk. You can see the Apple logo right there. Looking sharp crystal clear on the back, so you can see whatever you if you're rocking the gold you're rocking the silver rocking the space gray, whatever should look gorgeous through their camera protection, getting some decent camera protection. You can see how it's raised up, but not quite flush at all.

You're getting some decent camera protection I'd like to see just maybe a little a little more, but it actually uses a decent amount for a crystal clear case. We'll say that now lip protection is something Letterbox has always done right. So hopefully they don't. Let me down this time because I, but he likes a fat lip. So here we go.

Let's check out that lip yeah get pretty decent lip protection, so you see it all the way edge to edge if you do drop it you're, hoping that it's going to impact. The lip first I would like to seen again just a little more lip protection. You can see you're getting somehow it's raised up. You can see right there, that's kind of a good angle that the lips raised up around the screen. I am rocking a temper glass screen protector.

So if you're rocking a screen protector like this and a case like this, you shouldn't have any issues at all. It's got it. Nice I, would say a decent lip. Well, you know that large slider is good to go easy access, volume up and down me. Actually, these buttons are really quickie and soft I was actually thinking these.

Are we pretty hard? Some of that's one of my problems, a lot of Letterbox cases that are like this one is that the buttons are pretty hard to click. These are very soft to the touch. Let's check out the ports. Very, very nice. Look at they deal with these ports, so you can see the speaker grille.

They line it up just right, so it looks very clean across the board power button clicking responsive, and then you got the auto box logo right there. So, let's, let's put it this way, is this a hit or miss? Oh, that's a tough question, I'm going to say it's a mini head because of what you're getting its your, getting a quality product, that's going to protect your phone, and it's still going to be able to show that beautiful look of the phone off, and it's still going to give you some really decent ? good drop protection. Now the missed part is the fact that that price is just so steep that there may be some alternatives out there. But if you guys are interested in getting the best for your phone and the money is not an issue, I would say this one's a hit for the amount of protection you all be getting for an already expensive phone. Well, so we'll call it a mini hit.
