I just I'm to do a battery drain test comparison between the Samsung Galaxy is plus vs. the LED six versus the Google Pixel EX I've done the battery drain test versus the Samsung Galaxy SA the Savannah ?, seven plus much time for the real competition, the g6 and the pixel Excel. So we have a thirty-five hundred million power battery on the Samsung Galaxy s, f+ versus a thirty-two hundred million per battery on the LG G, six versus eight thirty, four, fifty million power battery on the Google Pixel Excel. So all three of these phones are charged up to one hundred percent. As you can see, on top, the brightness is set to 100% on all these phones and I. Have the galaxy is plus on the default resolution so which is Kennedy P I haven't changed anything there I'm just going to quickly turn off the power break at the same time and start the test.
Three two one go and the test has now officially started. You guys know the rules. First, we're going to do the app usage, so one hour long, sixty minute, Instagram madness. Just going to go into the Search tab, I will be refreshing the feed after every 10 minutes. So yes, you guys offer 60 minutes.
Okay, guys it's been 60 minute plus time and let's check out the battery percentage and three of the hottest phones right now. So the galaxy s 8 plus, is on 90 percent, while the LG G 6 is on 91 percent and the pixel XL is on 84 percent. So you can see the LG G 6 is currently winning the test and the S 8 plus is on the second number, while the pixel XL is a really far behind so yeah moving on to the YouTube playback all right onto the next stage, which is the YouTube playback. So we're going to be playing a two hour, long YouTube video on all these three phones, so god alright, guys one hour 51 minute long, YouTube, playback torture has now ended. So it's time to take a look at the battery percentages for the Galaxy S 8 plus is down to 73 percent, while the LG G 6 is down to 55 percent.
That is a huge loss in the video playback area and the pixel XL is down to 60%, so I have to say in the video playback area, the LG G 6 has lost the most person page and the pixel did a little better job, but the SI plus is winning this test by a mile. Now, let's see what will happen in a full 60-minute gaming test all right on to the third stage, which is the gaming, and we have launched asphalt, 8 game on all these three devices, so we're going to play season, 1 race on all of them. Next, next, ok, just going to lap the time, so this test will be done for 60 minutes, 60 minutes of gaming, one hour long gaming I! Don't personally do that much gaming on my phones, but still it is the main part of the test. You know I know a lot of people play games, so yeah see you guys after 60 minutes, Oh, okay, guys 60 minutes have gone damn. This is such a long test almost fell asleep.
Checking out the battery percentage. Okay, the Galaxy S8 plus, is down to 53% wow. It's feeling really hot to the touch. The LG d6 is down to 26% wow. That is a huge loss there.
Well, the Google Pixel K is down to 34, so the galaxy s 8 plus it is winning again on to the final stage, which is the 4k video recording, til death so and pressing the record button. So ultra HD video recording started on the pixel same thing here and same thing here, so I'm just going to let the time as well again, this is going to be 4k til death, meaning that I will be recording 4k videos over and over again till you know who some phones die, then we're going to have the final winner, so yeah, okay, guys 28 minute of 4k and chill the lg6 is already down to 5% and every time I launch camera. It does not allow me to run it because battery is too low, so I guess the LG 6 is now eliminated. It's not dead. Furthermore, it's, but you know, 5% is pretty much like dead.
You know so, but it's still connected to the Wi-Fi. The display is still on the. The battle is still going on between the pixel and the s 8 plus, you can see both are still recording. So, okay guys, the pixel is dead, and you can see. We have recorded almost 50 minute of 4k footage.
The pixel got died like 3 to 4 minutes ago. Actually was another room, but yeah it died. It is like really warm and the is+ was still recording. The 4k footage and the battery percentage on the is plus is on 31%. Look at this 31% and the pixel died.
The LED C's is eliminated because we cannot use the camera, which makes the is plus the winner of this test and I have to say. I have no words like in my testing of these. You know these battery drains has the galaxy as a plus, like perfect I, have to compare this phone to a phone with 4,000 main per battery. To actually you know challenge this device, like the is plus managed to defeat every single phone that I've tested out. Only the s7 edge came really close to beat the s8 plus.
You know literally the is plus one by just 1%. You can watch that video, but yeah. The is plus easily beats the LG G 6 and the Google Pixel Excel in the battery test here. Wow, holy I am absolutely impressed by the battery performance of the is plus, and I've done the comparison with the s8 as well, the SI plus vs SA battery, and that video is also live on the channel. If you want to check out that performance of the normal sic heck it out, so yeah give it a thumbs up.
This video takes a lot of time to record. I will be doing some more battery drain tests with some devices above 4,000 a million parts, so stay tuned and see you guys in the next one. Peace.
