In Asia, the smartphone market is diverse, with so many device options and brands like OPPO at the forefront, initially a brand that offered capable mid-range and budget devices. OPPO is now upping their game. This is my review of their latest flagship. The OPPO find x2 pro one look, and you know which phone we're talking about the OPPO find x2 pro is a legit eye-catching device, but so many people have asked me how that vegan leather back has been in real life. It isn't as high maintenance as I thought. It would be I know because and don't judge me I've been the crazy person using this phone for like the last month without a case long story short, they take out phone cases when my hair is freshly colored less.
They all turn pink like my hair. So yes, I've been going son's case and I haven't ruined it yet, which says a lot. The bad though it looks like leather, has moral or rubbery texture and not the leathery texture, which is a good thing as I've wiped this thing down with water, even alcohol, and it still looks good. There is no pop up camera, which sort of disappoints me because I like pop up cameras- and it was opal- got me into them too, with OPPO find X the phone that made me appreciate unobstructed screens, they still got focus on screen, and it has a very large one. This time around, though, with a punch hole.
This is a quad HD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hertz, the most of the best when it comes to smartphone screen game. It also has a billion color display, which just means it produces more nuanced colors, making everything on the screen better, looking and closer to well, what's in real life before is fast and snappy, and everything on here looks could like very good but topic I, don't really notice all these screen thingies right off the bat like I, see it's like difference if I focus hard enough and squint like, oh, my god, the that looks good, and it's pretty fast, I actually check the OPPO find x2 pro screen gave abilities I, put it beside the iPhone 11, which has a 60 Hertz screen and, as you can see in this video, there is a difference between the two. Now you can't really see the full difference because, of course, I'm not going to be exporting this whole review in 120 fps, but as there it is now. You can see that they're friends between the two screens but honestly on a normal day, I tend to forget about it, and I'm, not one of those people who noticed the difference when I go back to using phones. What's the word refresh rates? Maybe it's because I'm not a gamer, maybe it's because screens and refresh rates are not particularly something I.
Look for when I look at smartphones, but that's just me if you're the type to really notice if you're looking for one of the best screens on a phone in the market, this phone is one of them to find x2. Pro has I care or Flickr prevention in Lula blocking which again are things. They don't notice, but are nice to have hello, so there's a certain type of value to having these features on the phone without users actually noticing their there, though, the best thing for your eyes is really not to keep it. Lewd to these screens, then again, I did binge-watch all the Kim Sampson episodes on this phone and suffice to say this is a very enjoyable phone to watch stuff on I like smaller phones, yes, because smaller hands and smaller pockets just call for smaller phones, but admittedly, I appreciate the screen, if not for noticing, specifically how the 120 Hertz make a difference, but for great drama viewing experiences. It reminds me of the May 30 screen, except this 4 doesn't have, so I can watch on all apps.
Really all speakers on these are legit. You can hear them now, and I've been binge-watching shows on these with a home theater box. It came with blood on my unboxing video link up here, but yeah. This one is definitely my top choice to watch stuff on I'm, trying to say that I get why the screen pack is such a big deal, and it's an amazingly great-looking screen, but I don't really care much outside of my use and well that would be watching dramas and oh, my god in that case, yes, it makes for a great viewing experience. If it's not already obvious it's a very capable phone, it has twelve gigs of ram and the snapdragon.
It's exciting it, basically the best internal specs on a smartphone that we have for gaming right now, and they're, not new Final Fantasy game on here, and it played with no issues whatsoever. But, of course I like cutesy game, and this video is cute game for this phone of. You would be battle. Cats dude. This game is fun.
There is also game space which allows you to utilize settings for gaming. Gives you different playing mode? Gives you how long your battery will last your signal strength and allows you to change your notification settings to ensure you're, never disturbed as you battle your hats, like I said it's a fast phone and the new color OS 7 has just been. You know, have dark mode after our Quick Menu picture-in-picture, oh and there's also opal share that now works with showmen VIVO phones, more than on my red ? video linked here and below small detail, but something I mine really cute is that there options to change the clock and always-on display, and this analog clock featuring what I assume our coin upon looks really, really nice. There is amazingly quick charging on this device as amazing as zero to a hundred and thirty-eight minutes actual charge test in my previous finding supra video here battery on this thing lasts me around nine to twelve are switches. Okay, we've seen bigger and better batteries and phones, and also remember that powerful screen and depending on your settings, really puts a strain on batteries.
One big Guam is really. Why is there no wireless charging on this thing a few weeks ago? This wasn't really an issue, but now, since the one plus eight pro and the OPPO Reno ace to have Wireless forty watt searching I'm a little sad, this doesn't, but I mean there is a valid explanation as the way that is when I ask the folks at Opel HQ right around at the end of the find x2 Pro launched, they told me that, yes, they were working on their wireless charging pack, but they also felt that the fast charging in this phone suffice and that's valid, considering that they do have the fastest charging tech in the business. But when you're the girl is charging tech would be an actual thing. Shipping out with actual smartphones only like a month or so later now I want wireless charging back on my phone anyway. Moving on, there are three cameras on this.
Phone photos are natural, looking even with a on which sort of just adds a hint of color in general. I, really like how open shooters are tuned, they're, very reliable cameras. I mean it's nice, it's not too saturated, which sometimes happen when there's AI working on smartphone cameras, zoom photography is pretty good too up until 10x, and this thing can go till 60. The natural both is looking very awesome, even when the subjects are very challenging to shoot the portrait mode works on everything, including my drink. My dogs me that's also available in selfie mode plus video mode, but more on that later one day.
Anything that I noticed, though, is that when the phone camera switch to macro mode, there's a tiny shift, because the cameras are in a vertical line, but the macro photos are worth it such a small thing, but when you switch to selfie mode I love that little animation, which shows you where the camera is. So you know where to look. There's still that very, very detailed beauty, mode, and I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I really like opus beauty mode. Just a tiny bit can get you looking so fresh, just don't overdo it. Because they're, a tight seems a little too much.
For me. Minor pet peeve, though, is how the beauty mode on selfie photo mode, doesn't automatically carry over to the beauty mode settings on the selfie portrait mode, oh and speaking of things I really like and for there are the cutest stickers built in on this phone. There koalas this one's, a cute Dino had their flower crown collages and even donuts, but yeah anyway. There are no smile, shutters or audio shutters, but there is a gesture control which is fine, because I still believe it's a superior way to do. Remote selfies photos from the front-facing cameras are looking good, although there are no bells and whistles here like there's no secondary depth camera like the Reno 3, there is a portrait mode up front, there's also no secondary wide-angle selfie camera.
Thirty-Two megapixel shooter has a pretty wide coverage. Well, like most phones now and to prove a point here, is a comparison with a few selfies from the iPhone 11, where I use the normal mode and the white doe pose normal. Selfie is almost the same as iPhone 11s white selfie. What a line is selfies are on fleet. Video mode is available from white to 30x on 1080p, and you can shoot in 4k with this phone using the rear cameras from 1x to Penis, there's also a solid bouquet mode that works on both front yeah, that's better and back cameras, and now you can see the background done quickly.
Can you move a little there? You go! So that's a really nice life bouquet. What I love on video mode is a slo-mo. It's not the slowest of the slow. But honestly it's really easy to use, meaning you don't miss the moments. You want a slow mode just because you're fiddling with the settings and the video scale are perfect.
Also, there are two types of steady modes which Lynch it makes a difference and then there's also a different audio recording modes, including an audio smooth that we first tested out on the ocarina check that out here. Dodo fine, x2 Pro is more than a flagship. It's a statement. It's opal saying we have slag sheets, and they're good. They can compete, and they're orange, which for me, is a selling point.
I know that I've said that I don't like orange and a phone I'll link that video down below, but on this particular phone it just worked either say this is the classiest looking flagship of 2020, and that was my full review of the opal find x2 Pro. Let me know if you have questions down in the comments section below I know it's at the hot second for me to post this video, but with everything that's going on, it hasn't been the easiest thing to focus on reviewing devices, but it's here now, and hopefully you enjoy that you want to know more about the gadgets I'm reviewing or if you want to see how I use these phones on a daily basis. You can find me on social media. That's at CSIS, ed, I, hope all of you are safe in your homes. Remember to keep yourself healthy and also take care of your mental health until next time, bye.
