OnePlus Nord 200 5G- A Few Days Later Update

Hi everyone- this is Joseph from forest tech reviews, aka your favorite Cajun tech review back with another video today. Today's video, I want to discuss the OnePlus word 200, and I just want to give you an update. I've been using it for what about four days now three days, and I just want to give you what I like about it and what I don't like about the phone again. I got this phone for T-Mobile for free pretty much. Furthermore, I paid taxes, what twenty-twenty dollars worth of taxes? Furthermore, I think it was nineteen dollars. So, yes, it's not totally free, but nineteen dollars, and I've been using it as my daily driver, believe it or not for those last three days.

So let's get into the things that you know. I have a little problem with or the dealbreakers. No, not when I think about what this phone is costing me and also even at 216 what you get with this phone. The first thing is the display it just if you're using the indoors or not in direct sunlight. It looks pretty good, I mean it's an LCD panel, so you can tell the difference between LCD and AMOLED is a clear difference.

But overall the display inside look great outside you're, not looking at it in the direct sunlight. You won't be able to see it. It's its pretty bad, but if you're watching YouTube videos I mean it fills the screen, it looks good. Is it the best display? No, I mean come on. The phone is 216 dollars.

I just I want to let everybody know in my opinion, in daylight. It is really it's really it really. It's not it's horrible. I can't say it's not that bad, it's pretty horrible. You won't have to like try to cover up the display to look at it.

It is what it is now. I am shooting this video out of my car with the OnePlus word 200 at 1080p at 30 frames. The second thing I want to talk about is the speaker on here: the word 100. What I found out had dual speakers. This one on one website said it did and then another website it said, then it I can't, it doesn't, have dual speakers there's no way that this top speaker is a dual speaker.

It's just it's just not there. I don't know why they went backwards on that. If the Norton 100 had dual this one should definitely have dual speakers. You know again for the price. What can you complain now? It does have a headphone jack, but I'm talking about the things I don't like about the phone, so speaker could be a little better.

It could sound better too, but it is what it is. The next thing I want to talk about is the uh cameras on here and just the video options that you have and also the photos during daylight and perfect lighting. Yes, you can get great photos using this uh phone, there are no problems with it. The photos come out great, but at nighttime you can forget about it and then also just having 1080p at 30 frames on the cameras. Like that's kind of wack, I mean at least give me 4k at 30 or 1080p at 60.

That would have been great, but this camera only shoots in 10 1080p at 30 frames per second, I don't know which I think is that being too picky for the price of the phone, because I know I have one plus you can get it for 249. So is it too picky you all? Let me know in the comments: let's get a discussion going so the cameras, I mean the photos yeah during regular sun, I mean regular daylight. Not bad low light could be bad, but I mean during nighttime photos. I'm going to show you all in another video I have coming up where I do the camera test. You all can make your own decision, but it's pretty bad.

The last thing I'm going to talk about I'm going to try to give you samples in this video is the snapdragon 480 processors. Now I've been using the OnePlus 9 pro the galaxy s21 ultra the Google Pixel 5, and you know everything opens fine, no hiccups, no slowdowns! No, you know everything opens up pretty quick with the snapdragon 480 processors. You can tell it just takes a little longer time like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, uh, tic tons, I mean any app. You open even bank abs, any app you open. Furthermore, you can tell that it just takes a little more time to open up the app again.

Is that a dealbreaker? No? Now it's not doing that well with the sun right now, but overall, the ca again. If the video looks pretty good. I just wish you have more options, but that snapdragon 480 processors, I haven't even tried a game on it. Yet I don't think you'll get a game too much, but I might do a gaming video because I know people have been asking about it. I'm going to try to get samples of the 40 processor, open, different apps.

Now, let's talk about what I like the overall feel the overall look of the phone. It looks great, the back does attract fingerprints, but it does feel pretty good in the hands when I first unboxed if it is a little light. I wasn't expecting it to be so light when I open the box up, but overall the build of it is pretty good. I love that it has a headphone jack, so I can hook up. You know headphones in there and I don't have to worry about just being Bluetooth every day.

I do like the display watching videos and watching Netflix on here, and you know, and using his everyday phone too, making phone calls texts surfing the web. I mean it acts like a phone, perfect messaging people. Making phone calls people can hear me on a speaker is good, so if you use it as a phone, it's great also. Also. The battery life has been perfect.

The five thousand William hour battery with the 480 processor- yes, it lasted for a while. I've been getting about probably seven or eight hours of screen on time with a day and a half between charges. One time I got, I think one day it was like 30 hours of uh charge time and like seven and a half hours of screen on time, so the battery has been perfect too. I mean come on, it's a 480 processor it should. Last that long I mean I won't say that it's exceptional but yeah.

Definitely it definitely lasted, I'm not. I wasn't expecting it for it to suck. So that's a good thing too. I guess also I like the flat screen. You know the curve displays they can make it a little harder for accidental touches and everything.

So the flash screen is great too on here and just the overall feel of the phone is great. I mean for 216 dollars, man, you get, you get a lot for the phone that you would get on. You know other phones too, at that price. I might try to compare this to other phones in this price range, just to see how they do. If you had this phone, let me know I know a lot of different creators that got this phone like j will tony jazz my project 13 and there's a few of us that got the phone and I think, they're enjoying it too.

I've been watching their videos on it, but you all. Let me know what you think about it. You know if you have it: let's get a discussion going if you think about picking it up again. Look at T-Mobile uh, also metro by T-Mobile has great deals on it. If you want to buy to unlock version from OnePlus, you can do that also, but overall, I'm really enjoying the phone and now here's one thing I'm going to say too, is if you or a flagship lover, if that's all you use, then yes, you might not enjoy this phone, you may get bored with it.

You may actually hate the phone because you lose to the flagship, but if you're looking for a food stamp phone or if you're looking for a phone for your mom, your grandparents, a young kid, then why not try this phone, especially if you have an old phone hanging around, and you're with T-Mobile? Why not go ahead and get that phone? It makes no sense, because there's a lot in here for 216 dollars all right. So let's go ahead and wrap up this video because I don't want to make it too long, even though it's about nine minutes long overall, I'm enjoying the phone. If, like I said, if you want to pick it up, watch your videos, do your homework make the decision. If you want to pick it up or not. Also, if you like this video, give it a thumbs up, if you haven't subscribed to my channel yet make sure you do so for more coverage on the phone watch out for that camera comparison or camera video coming up soon and until next time, peace, I'm out of here later.
