OnePlus 8 vs OnePlus 7Pro Camera (Daylight Footage)

What's good YouTube, your boy, Rob, and I'm back with another video. Now, if this is your first time at my channel, hey hit that subscribe button and a notification bill for future videos. Now, let's talk about my experience with the OnePlus 8 camerae versus the OnePlus 7 pro camerae. Now, there's not really that much of a difference in the camera right now it was pretty hard for me to choose which phone camera I thought perform better. They both had that I liked, and they have some things that I didn't like, but I'm gonna. Let you guys judge a lot of the footage.

I did here now, starting off I really didn't do any night footage. This is all day footage in a lot of ways: OnePlus cameras, kind of function, mediocre at night, so I didn't know. If that was, you know any reason to do a camera test. Maybe it might be, so you can see if there's an improvement from the pro to the 8. So, if you're interested in the all nighttime, video and camera shootout, let me know, but for right now, I just pretty much took some daylight pictures to see how the camera handles dynamic range, how it handles the colors and how the camera focused on possibly the best conditions you can put.

These phones in the front facing cameras are both the same from the previous year. There's not that much difference. What I'm, looking at, possibly being the big difference maker is maybe some software spine tuning or something of that nature. Now on the left, the stats you see is a breakdown for the 1 plus 7 Pro, and on the right you see a breakdown of the 1 plus 8 camerae and what it can do. Both cameras do have a 48 megapixel sensor, but the only difference is the 1 plus 7 Pro has a laser autofocus, whereas the 1 plus 8 has a phase detection autofocus kiss.

Now, what phase detection autofocus does it's like an imaging processing technology which takes in account two different images when, whenever you're about to snap a photo and what it does is message those images together and phases them until the image is synchronized with one another, creating the best possible image between the two images that it was using to make the one picture. So that gives you a clue. God deals with a phase, auto-detection. Autofocus is again, you can see the video what it can shoot in the middle part in the area called features. Videos the front-facing camera on the 1 + 7 is a motorized pop-up, 16 megapixels, whereas the regular 1 + a has to pinhole 16 megapixels and again they both shoot at 1080 at 30 frames per second electronic image.

Stabilization. Now, as you can see, the macro camera on the right for the 1 plus 8 shoots at an F 2.4, but really the pictures are pretty crappy and on the 1 + 7 Pro ? 8 megapixels is a telephoto and that will probably be the camera more likely that will be used by the 1 plus 7 Pro for doing close-ups. So I'm going to show you some of the samples that I got and go over some samples, and we're going to see some things some of the things that make each camera different, you're gonna notice, though one thing I can. Let you know ahead of time, is that when the 1 + 7 Pro took pictures, it seems like the skies were a little lighter tone of blue, whereas the 1 + 8 has richer blues. So that's something I know so to really make this.

You know not. The drag goes on too much, but it just comes down to personal preference and which camera you like they're so closely, matched. That is all about your preference and what how much you light when it comes to color saturation, so you would take out. You know. You're gonna, take note of that in the samples.

So, let's go ahead and let's check out how both of these phones performs, with the one plus eight I like the way, the shadows, words reproduce and how green the grass was in comparison to the seven probe. The colors to me was a little more punchy err on the eighth than the seventh row, and with this one, the shadows underneath was a little on the cooler side, which was surprising on the seven Pro and it kind of warmed it up in the shadows. With this picture, as I try to move in closer without touching the display to refocus the camera, there's seven Pro focus really nice with the eight, but when I got closer, it seems like the seven Pro focus more on the house and the background and the eight went straight to the branch, which was my intent now with this one that Sky's in the 8 is way more punchy. Err blue I, like that type of blue. The 7 is a little lighter I, don't want to say washout, but with this one the colors almost seem to match.

When I took a ?, I mean a ?, a one-time focus and then, when I really punched it in on three time focused, it went the sky on the 8, went to like an aqua, blue and the 7 Pro. Pretty much stayed the same, that pretty much does it for the camera, video shootout between the 1 + 7 Pro and the 1 + 8. If you liked this video, give it a thumbs up, don't forget to subscribe to my channel. If you have any questions, please leave that down below I would like to know which camera you guys think perform better ?, 1 + 7 pro ? 1 +, 8 1. Note, though, if you are considered going from the 7 Pro to the 8, save yourself some money, because the jump is not worth it now.

If you're going to make the jump from the pro to the pro, you might be able to make an argument that the camera could make it worth to upgrade, but again that pretty much does it. Thank you and I catch everybody in the next video I'm up.
