Official OnePlus 8 Nylon Bumper Case Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small taken today, I am back with another big unboxing for you for the OnePlus 8, and today we're back with the official nylon bumper case to unbox. Do a quick review as always I'll, throw up the link in the video description. If you want to check it out, pricing is going to be 34.99, so it is a little steeper, but it's an official product. I've always been a big fan of this case in the past versions of it now a little disappointed to anybody rocking the OnePlus 8 pro that it's not available yet for that, I'm not sure why that they release for the eight, not the eight pro, but anybody rocking the eight. This one, hopefully is gonna, be a hit, but we'll check it out to see if it's going to be a hit or miss presentation. You know it's clean enough, get a little white box, one plus eight one plus branding at the very bottom and then usual red variation from OnePlus.

That's pretty much it in terms of overall presentation. You got a little sticker right here. Hopefully, no struggles, no stress to get it open. Let's check it out pop it like this yeah, I'm really disappointed they didn't bring this out for the eight pro um, really, not sure. Why there's a couple other cases that they've released from the official lineup- that's not available for the pro, I think the clear one and then there might be another one as well, but hopefully this one is going to be a hit because I've liked it in the years past all right.

So let's put that to the side, so you can see the first impressions. You got that like nylon, weave, that's got this very soft texture. You almost can see these little like dimple like finish to it, but it's a very soft texture that just made that nylon material very nice to the touch now in years past. It has gotten a little grimy after a while, like you'll get lint, you know attached to order, it'll stick to it, but usually it does right off with no problems. You can check out the OnePlus logo right there, camera protection, which we'll check out to see how much camera protection you're going to get the actual bumper it transitions to this rubber bumper part all the way around the edges, so you got full edge to edge protection, so they do a good job right there.

All the way around interiors got the soft finish. I don't know if they had this in the past, but this has got this very soft finish to it that a lot of companies are going to, and I appreciate that just got the soft double. Like finish, that's going to be very nice to the interior of your phone, keep it from scratches. You got a little design by OnePlus right there. It's pretty subtle, nothing really to it around the bumper.

It's just gonna, be that same material. That's got that rubbery feel to it, but overall build quality is pretty nice slim! It's got a little of give to it. Just basic shouldn't add hardly any bulk to your phone as well. Let's check out that glow. Look at that thing, shimmer wipe it down, wipe it down! Everybody knows that the Verizon version is not compatible with the official cases, which is really disappointing.

That's kind of one of those weird things, I guess the volume rocker isn't right place. So I had to get this. It's just one of those weird things that I don't know exactly know why they did. That really doesn't make a lot of sense. So you're going to have to get two different cases if anybody rocking the actual Verizon version.

So but this glow looks pretty nice, we'll pop it into place like that nice snap. Let's check this out, so you can check that out. Look clean got that black on glow. You know what I'm saying that glow's a different color anybody! That's ever had that. Huawei just looks similar to that Huawei um color they had a couple of years back, and it's it is okay.

I kind of got tired of it easy, but you can tell that it is a unique color. So, let's check out the camera protection. Look at that, so you can see decent camera protection. You can see it's raised above the camera, so they did a lot better job with this one than they did with the official carbon bumper case, which completely had an exposed part where this one you can see that how much camber protection you are going to get, so they done a good job with the camera protection for this one, you got that reinforcement all the way around the camera, so I don't have any problems with that camber protection. They did a perfect job with that camera protection.

So nice job with this particular case again lightweight, hardly going to add any bulk at all to your phone. So that's nice. Let's check out the lip, because everybody likes a fat lizard. Let's check out the lips, you can see. You know it's not crazy! Lip protection.

You can see what they give you at the very bottom and then the sides are reinforced right there. It does dip in a little around the actual speaker grill, so that right, there's, probably a good look at it right there, so that you can tell it dips in a little around the speaker, grill, which I don't want problem with, and then the curved screen you're not getting much lip protection on the sides, and it is what it is you just gotta deal with it volume up and down. You can see it's clicking, responsive kind of plastic field. I wish it was a little more premium. Button feel kind of does feel a little cheap.

I would say that'd be my only complaint because it does just feel a little cheap on otherwise really premium feeling case. Let's check out the ports looks clean speaker, grille power mic. Let's check out the alert, slider easy access. You can see right there, how it's right there is nice cut out for the easy access to the large slider and then power button, click and responsive. You can see you still got the edge digital protection, so full protection against drops but overall looks really, really clean.

Give you guys a look at that now with the case on it, you can see that black on black it looks the screen looks black, so you can see the case looks really nice. You can't even really tell the color of the actual photo itself. So if you guys are rocking this color, you may want to get the clear case. I do get a review coming for that, but anybody really just wants a nice case. Build quality is excellent.

Now the one thing I would say it's a little: oh, the grip is not terrible. I wish there's a little more grip on the sides. This material is seeming to be a little slick, but I think it might wear a little and then, with the actual back right here, it kind of has a decent feel to it overall. So I'm not too worried about it being too slick. But overall I would say this is going to be a hit.

It's definitely better than the official carbon bumper, and I've only done that review for the OnePlus 8 pro not for the 8.
