You can also keep up on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter by clicking the links in the description. So today, we've got plenty of news to share about the upcoming Nubia red magic. Six we've got news of specs brand-new technology for the design and the first reveal of the red magic 6. Now before we get started, please like the video, if you're a fan of Nubia. Let me know down in the comments what device you're actually watching today's video on, so Nubia are well known for their powerful gaming phones and the Nubia red magic.6 is no different as we approach the launch. More and more information is coming forward.
Like other smartphones. This year, we may also be seeing it earlier, its predecessor, released in March, but the Nubia red magic 6 is reportedly coming in February. So the first bit of information comes from a poster, and this was shared by the official red magic Weibo account, and it gives us a little of information on the specs. The poster reveals that the red magic 6 is going to have support for a whopping 120 watt fast charge, and it's also coming with a 4 500 William hour battery capacity, of course, being a gaming phone. It needs to pack some power, so the ability to quickly charge means that if you do have to game on it with it on charge at any point, at least it's not going to take very long.
We haven't had any specific leaks on the display size yet, but it's likely to be around 6.65 inches the same as the predecessor. We of course, are expecting a 1080p AMOLED display with a 144hz refresh rate, it's coming with the latest snapdragon 888, and this will allow it to play all the latest games at the best ability, and it's also coming with stereo speakers as well as a three and a half mil headphone jack. It's going to have the full screen display again with an in-display fingerprint scanner, but just like its predecessor, it's unfortunately not going to have wireless charging now Nubia actually shared a video for a color changing phone, which many are reporting to be the Nubia red magic 6. Now it shows a phone using electrochromic technology which can, at the press of a button, turn the back panel transparent and allow you to see inside now. Personally, I think that we've got to be a little realistic about this.
It's most likely just a concept and not the red magic 6. I mean the Nubia red magic, provides a high-powered gaming machine at a budget-friendly cost, so there's just no way that they're going to include a feature like this I mean, while it looks cool, it would just drive up the cost as well as drain the battery, and it of course gives no performance boost to gaming. I guess if it's not a concept, though, this could, however, be a special edition that fans can purchase if that's what they want now. Next up, however, we do have the first live photo of the Nubia red magic 6 and actually the 10 cent games edition of the phone. We also had the general manager of Nubia post a photo of the 10 cent building in Shenzhen, which makes the partnership look more and more likely.
Now. The leaked photo, unfortunately only shows us the rear of the red magic 6, but we can see the 10 cent games, logo in the x, as well as some AI camera branding above those lenses. Now, one big change we can see here is, of course, that we now have a horizontal alignment for the cameras instead of the vertical setup that we saw on the predecessor, we can also see from the x that there are holes each side, and they're most likely ventilation holes for the cooling system. If it's like the predecessor, it will, of course have its own cooling fan. This will no doubt be very useful in dissipating the heat, especially with a 120 watt fast charge.
So launch is imminent and will no doubt be getting more and more leaks as we approach it, but we already know some specs, and we can take a good estimate at the rest for those interested we're going to run through the full specs design and the pricing for the Nubia red magic 6. So it will of course, be a full screen display and while we haven't had any specific details on the front, it's likely that they'll stick with the same design. We all know, so that's a camera inside the bezel. But if there is any change, it's most likely going to be a punch, hole, selfie camera, it's reportedly coming with a 144hz AMOLED display, while exact details aren't known at this time. It's expected to be a full HD plus resolution with a 19 and a half by nine ratios, we'll be getting a single camera on the front and while the camera has not been leaked just yet, I would estimate only a minor upgrade here, so something like a 10 megapixel camera on the rear, we're expecting a triple camera setup.
We had three cameras confirmed in the leaked photos. This does seem likely expect to see a wide angle camera as the main and ultra-wide, along with a macro. The phones are aimed at gamers, so they won't be putting in very expensive camera systems. The phone will, of course, be powered by the snapdragon 888 system on chip. One memory has not been confirmed just yet.
We expect the choice is going to be between 12 or 16 gigs of ram and 128 or 256 storage. Judging by their previous releases, it's very unlikely that we'll get any micro SD support. It's coming with a 4 500 William hour battery, while there's no wireless charging, it boasts a whopping 120 watt, fast charge. It comes with 5g, Wi-Fi 6 and UFS 3.1 storage, and we can assume that the display ship with red magic ui4- and this is based on android 11. When it comes to the pricing, I'm going to estimate around 650 starting price, but unfortunately we haven't had any leaks on pricing.
Yet so that's all the news we have for today as we approach the launch, we're no doubt going to be receiving more and more information and, of course, I'll be sharing it as we do. As always, though, I'd like to know your thoughts in the comments so who out there is excited about the Nubia red magic 6 and who out there already has the 5. , but thanks for watching the video, if you liked it smash a thumbs up. If you didn't hit the thumbs down twice, and I'll, see you guys in the next one you.
