Nicole Stott here for mobile geeks and today, I'm filming from the gadget match office in Manila, because they've got the amazing pro 7 and I. Just couldn't wait to see how this secondary display worked out. So here is the pro 7. I have to say. The first thing that we have to talk about is this rear display. It looks better in person than in the photos, and you just tap it on, and then it's actually pretty intuitive I think that it's a pretty useful display now one feature: that's quite cool you swipe up now: I always do it a few times from here.
So let's try turning it off and turning it on and then slip down. Yeah, there we go so there you can see that it activates the rear camera. So we have blur mode which is right. The doubles okay Beauty to make some more beautiful and then original I like to do is tap. If you count down and then there you go now, the one thing that I've disliked about this rear camera is that I wish there was an option to turn the flash on, because in low-light situations I have found that I do need the flash on the rear camera.
So if you head into the camera app here itself, you can see that you've turned this around. It turns a secondary display on, and then you can choose to see yourself there and the only downside about this is you can't actually use the display. You see you think using the primary display sees always reach around ?, not button or heads right there. Oh, that's really difficult. How am I going to do that? Oh, there are character photos into my mouth.
Please use primary ? operators like I, found myself kind of like tapping around trying to take photos. It's not quite as easy to hit that button as it would be, but you can definitely use the volume button here. So you just kind of press that there now I will show you some photos of Esau, because she has been doing a lot of the review of this floor, and I'm just borrowing it for a little to actually shoot. My review I've been here for about three days, so I've had the opportunity to use it for just about as long, so we had for lunch. We had some singing from shine mom.
It was relish overall I've been pretty impressed with this camera when we took it out here last night in Manila when we had dinner. This is my figured out with the rear. Camera is actually much better for taking selfies in low-light, then the front facing camera, because this fundraising camera actually has a 16, megapixel, shooter, f, 2.0 aperture. So if you're wondering like hmm in general, I think like the skin detail on these photos, here is actually quite good. Be kind of zoom in this is a really nice photo where you have like lots of detail in the hair.
Thank you good HQ, my eyebrows there, but you know what anything like it. This is really impressive for a camera, so this is a bunch of front-facing camerae. Now I actually chose to apply makeup after the fact in their editor, which I think is pretty creepy and there's maximum Beauty, which just looks terrifying, normal Nicole maximum Beauty. Now the other thing that I want to kind of mention is this fingerprint center. So to me, one of the big things about a fingerprint sensor is that it has to be fast now if the display is on I can just place my finger I if it displays off after physically push down.
Now it's working every single time right now, but I would say that I have a ten percent failure rate which to me is a little high, so Mizzou is showing its mid-range colors right now by having an average fingerprint sensor right here, so I have to say: I am a little more enamored with the secondary display than I thought I would be when I first saw the rendered I thought this phone is ugly, but it's kind of won me over I would very strongly consider opening up my wallet for this, and I would likely rock this as a daily driver, hoping that I just uncover more hidden gems within the fly me OS. That might make it a bit more useful, even though I am pretty disappointed in the lack of functionality from what I saw on previous generations. So Nicole's got here for mobile geeks, loving this secondary display. What do you guys think and might is blind or is a genuinely useful feature? Let me know in the comments.
