Hello everyone Mani here for Mr phone and welcome to this epic four-way battery drain test between the newly launched IQ z35g, the meteor. If the Realme x75g and the OnePlus word, the new ICO z3, is powered by the latest snapdragon 768g chipset and comes with a 4400 my battery under the hood. So it will be interesting to see how this new chipset performs against its predecessor, the snapdragon 765 inside the word, and also against a couple of rival chipsets in the snapdragon 750 g inside the meta knight and the diamond city 800u chip inside the realm x7. Let's get started, all smartphones on the table are 100 charged and unplugged. So the rules here are very simple in this battery test, we'll start with the 2r video playback, followed by an hour of 1080p video recording an hour of benchmarks, an hour of gaming and finally an hour of social media, and if these phones survive through it all we restart again. Now all these phones are connected to the same Wi-Fi network screen brightness is 100 and set to manual.
Volume levels are also set at 100. No apps are running in the background and yeah. All these phones are set at their highest available refresh rates and not evenly matched, because if you buy any of these, you should know how they perform at their best, so 120 hertz on the IPO z3 and meet, and I 90 hertz on the OnePlus note and 60 hertz on the realm x7. So without any further ado, let's begin with the 2r video playback, the IQ z3 features a 6.58 inch IPS LCD panel. This comes with full HD resolution, 120 hertz, refresh rate and panda glass protection on top.
As for the others on the table, the meat and eye features of 120 hertz 6.67 inch IPS LCD panel, the OnePlus note features a 90 hertz 6.44 inch super AMOLED panel and lastly, the Realme x7 features a 60 hertz 6.4 inch super AMOLED panel. Of course the 60 hertz on the realm x7 gives it a clear advantage over the others, but by how much that remains to be seen in terms of display quality. Well, all of them have superb color reproduction. Of course, my Sony a7iii isn't able to differentiate much when it comes to the brightness on these phones, but trust. My word that the word and x7, with their AMOLED displays are for sure brighter than the lcds of the ICO, c3 and meteor I, but is that difference a lot? Well, you won't be bothered indoors display.
Brightness will never be an issue indoors. However outdoors the AMOLED screens do have an advantage, but coming back to the display quality well in terms of overall color reproduction. All these phones on the table are champs, however, high contrast, stuff, which includes a lot of blacks in a video or a dark wallpaper. All of that definitely looks better on the AMOLED panels in terms of audio performance, all the phones except the meat, and I have a single bottom firing speaker. Yes, the meat and I come with dual speakers and as for the output, here's how they sound go.
Okay about one hour going into the video playback test. The realm x7 leads the pack with 93 percent, followed by the IQ z3 at 92 percent, the meat and I at 91 percent and the OnePlus, not at 88. So two hours have passed and right now the ICU z3 has taken the lead and is now sitting at 83 percent, followed by real me, x7 at 81 percent the meet and I at 78 and the OnePlus not coming last at 74. , and now it is time for an hour of video recording. These will be 1080p, 30fps videos from all smartphones.
So in terms of video recording capabilities, the ICO z3 can shoot up to 4k 60fps videos from the rear camera and up to 1080p 30fps videos from the front camera. Now, let's get going and start with the one hour of video recording and three hours have passed into the test, and in this past hour the ICO z3 took a 20 drop and is currently sitting at 63. The Realme x7 has once again taken the lead and is now at 65 percent the meet, and I am sitting at 59 while the word is now at 51. Now, let's go ahead and run some benchmarks. Let's start with geek bench.
Funny thing is that the brightness on the IPO z3 has dropped on its own, even when it is not set to automatic. That's strange, but anyway, haiku was not joking about the snapdragon 768g chipset and its performance. I mean the multi-core score is the highest, and that is fine, but just look at the single core performance 723, and that is good. Anyway. Let's get going and test an tutu now well, well, well, once again, a dominant showing from the IPO z3 and the snapdragon 768 chipsets, especially look at that GPU score overall in an tutu, the z3 is about 27 percent faster than the meat, and I about 21 faster than the OnePlus not and about 14 faster than the Realme x7.
Finally, let's run a CPU throttling test on all phones for 30 minutes, okay in terms of CPU throttling, well, the Realme x7 and the meat- and I are clear champs both of them scored, 85 and 87, respectively, which is good and even the average instructions. The snapdragon 750 and the diamond city 800 you can perform is about 150 000, which is great. As for the IPO z3 fine performance, at least it ran consistent and there were no major dips. The score is 81 percent and the average instructions are about 140 000, which is again fine. Now the yellow in an OnePlus words graph clearly shows the dip in performance.
Its score is 76, while the average number of instructions are about 126 000. , so the benchmarks are sorted, and we are almost at four hours now. The current battery levels on all phones are at this. The x7 leads at 50 percent, followed by haiku at 46, followed by Xiaomi at 42 and at last it is the OnePlus sitting at 32. Now, let's go ahead and play asphalt, 9 for an hour.
Okay, five hours gone, we are done with asphalt, 9 and the gap between the ICO, z3 and the Realme x7 is slowly widening. Of course, the x7 leads with 33, followed by z3 at 28, the meat and I at 20 and the word at 11. So now it is time for a novel of social media, so let's run Instagram by the way five and a half hours gone, and this is how the battery statistics look like and at 5 hours, 54 minutes the OnePlus word. Finally, quits okay, six hours later, with all the tests done, the Realme x7 leads the pack with a 24 battery left. The IQ z3 is at 18 battery, while the meat- and I is now last at 9 battery.
So let's restart and do a two hour. Video playback test quickly checking the status at about six hours, 32 minutes. So the Realme x7 is now at 20, followed by ICO z3 at 13 and the meet, and I at three percent at this point. It is just a matter of time before Xiaomi quits, let's resume okay 46 minutes later than the OnePlus word, with a final endurance, score of 6 hours, 41 minutes the meat- and I is out of the race- and now it is between the ICO, z3 and the Realme x7 about seven hours later and one hour into the second video playback test. The ICO z3 is currently at eight percent battery, while the Realme x7 is at 16 and hitting the 7r mark by the way is anyway exceptional.
It doesn't matter at this point as to which phone wins because being able to hit seven hours is, as I said, truly exceptional. Finally, at 7 hours, 46 minutes, the ICO z3 is completely drained. The real mcx7 still has 10 battery left in the tank and yeah exceptional performance from the IPO z3. Clearly an hour more than the meter, and I and mind you, this endurance has been achieved with a 120 hertz, refresh rate enabled and full brightness on. So, in my opinion, this is a huge win for the IPO z3, and who knows if this phone was set at 60 hertz, I don't know man, it would have been impossible to kill, but here we are with the Realme x7, and it will be interesting to see for how long does it survive from here? Okay, quick update almost an hour later at about 8 hours, 43 minutes.
I have got this warning on the screen that says only 2 battery left in the Realme x7. Finally, at 9 hours, 16 minutes, which is exactly an hour and a half later than the IPO z3. The Realme x7 calls it a day so at fourth place with an endurance of 5 hours, 54 minutes it is the OnePlus word in third place, with an endurance score of 6 hours, 41 minutes. It is the meat and eye fine performance, I would say, but it pales away in comparison to the Realme x7 and the ICO, z3 speaking of which, at second place with an endurance of 7 hours.46 minutes is the ICU z3. I would again say that for a phone that was running at its maximum capabilities, that is full brightness, full volume, 120 hertz, exceptional performance here and finally, with a mind, boggling endurance of 9 hours, 16 minutes, the Realme x7 is the winner of this battery drain test.
I know this phone was running at 60 hertz. You can call it an advantage, but there's something called optimization as well, and I know a lot of 60 hertz phones that aren't even half as capable as the Realme x7, so congrats to the Realme x7 on this win and there you have. It guys smash the like button. If you enjoyed this battery drain test video and for sure share it with others, as always for all the latest in tech stay tuned to Mr phone I'll catch, you guys in the next one.
