iQOO Z3 Review: A Powerful Smartphone at the Right Price

Okay now before we go ahead with this review, let me just clear the air about how to pronounce the name of the smartphone brand. It's haiku now that we've got that clear out of the way. Let's just take a look at this smartphone, it's the IQ z3. This is AIK's most affordable, 5g smartphone in India, and it packs in the Qualcomm snapdragon 768 g processor. That will remain exclusive for a while. What is challenging for the IPO z3 is that the segment that it's competing in is crowded with devices such as the meat NI, which has a 108 megapixel camera and the Realme x7 5g with dual 5g standby.

So the big question is: has IPO done enough with the z3 to set it apart? Hey guys, this is Sheldon and to answer all the questions about to IQ, z3, here's my full review, but before we go ahead, I recommend you subscribe to the gadget360 YouTube channel and click on the bell icon so that you stay notified whenever we upload a new video here we have the cyber blue unit of the ICO. Z3, the frame and the rear panel are made of plastic, and the matte finish at the back is good at not picking smudges and fingerprints. There is also an ace black option for people who prefer a more subtle look. This phone is comfortable to hold thanks to its slimness. There is a 3.5 mm, headphone jack at the bottom, along with a single speaker, the primary mic and the type c USB port. The fingerprint reader is embedded in the power button and unlocks the device instantly.

The ICO z3 has a 6.5 inch, full HD, plus lcd, with a refresh rate of 120 hertz and a touch sampling rate of 180 hertz, which is useful while playing games. The panda glass picks up fingerprints easily, and these are also quite hard to wipe off. The display gets sufficiently bright in sunlight, colors appear a bit saturated, but text and images look sharp. I was able to stream HDR content on the YouTube app thanks to the HDR 10 certification, but Netflix did not support it. The IQ c3 is the first smartphone in India to feature the Qualcomm snapdragon 768g mobile platform.

It is a slight update from the 765g that made it to several mid-range smartphones in 2020. The ICO. C3 comes in three variants: 6gb ram, plus 128gb storage, 8gb ram, plus 128gb storage and a 8gb ram, plus 256gb storage. All of them support up to one terabyte micros card for expansion using the hybrid sim slot general performance was top-notch, with no stuttering or lag it performed well when playing Call of Duty mobile at the default, high graphics and high frame rate settings running smoothly and showing no signs of overheating. The phone started to warm up after switching the graphics and frame rate to very high, but maintain performance in the game.

Asphalt, 9 legends also run impressively at high quality, with no shutter or lag. The single speaker at the bottom gets quite loud, but sounds tinny. It is good enough for gaming, but not so much for watching movies or listening to music good thing. The phone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for those who want better audio quality. The ICO c3 uses VIVO's fun touch OS, which looks a lot like stock android.

In terms of appearance. You can change the animations for the unlock screen, face recognition, charging USB insertion and even putting the phone in standby and waking it. There are also several ICO branded apps and IQ has retained its own dialer and SMS apps on the z3. Lot wear is limited and can be uninstalled if not needed. The ICO.

C3 features a 64, megapixel, f, 1.79, primary camera, an 8, megapixel, f, 2.2, ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixel f, 2.4 macro camera. The selfie camera has a 16 megapixel sensor and an f 2.0 aperture. The camera interface is what you'll find on most IQ and VIVO smartphones. The default visible camera modes can be swapped for whatever you will frequently use when shooting in daylight photos came out a bit saturated with a decent amount of detail in textures, noise was under control and the shadows had plenty of detail, but there was noticeable purple fringing in the brighter areas of the scenes. The ultra-wide angle camera shot passable photos, but was not able to capture much detail.

There was also plenty of purple fringing when shooting in bright settings photo shot in low light. Had noise under control, but the detail in the shadows was poor, even in the scene that had some form of lighting in the vicinity. The night mode managed to brighten up scenes and bring the highlights under control. Selfie shortened, daylight came out clean, but seemed a bit too bright. Still the front camera managed to expose subjects and backgrounds well in low light.

Selfie camera did a decent job as long as there was a source of light in the vicinity. Video shot at 1080p at 30 and 60 fps using the primary camera, showed good detail and stabilization in low light videos recorded at 1080p 30fps looked a bit blurry and as resulted in a nasty shimmering effect when walking.4K videos lacked stabilization, so they ended up looking jerky, if recorded when walking and when panning the ICO z3 has a 4400 my battery that charges from no power to 67 percent in 30 minutes, with a full charge finishing in 60 minutes. The phone achieved an impressive score of 19 hours and 32 minutes in our HD video loop test. With an hour of gaming, some camera usage phone calls and constantly checking social media apps. The phone managed most days with 30 to 40 left in the battery at night, which is quite good with the z3.

We now feel that ICU has a solid contender in the higher end of the budget. Smartphone segment, the Qualcomm snapdragon 768 g processor offers better performance in the competition, but it's not a giant leap. The vibrant 120 hertz, refresh rate display and best-in-class charging with a 55-watt adapter in the box are some other value-added features. What we feel is the only downside is its average low-light camera performance. The ICO z3 offers incredible value with its impressive hardware at rs 1999.

If you're looking for another smartphone in this price segment, you can try the Realme x75g that offers a 120 hertz OLED display 50 watt charging and dual 5g standby on both sims.
