To guys what's up harsh here and welcome back to technology today, we're talking about two excellent phones like two perfect choices out there. Yes, I'm talking about the mi 11x versus the iq7. You guys have been asking for this comparison since a very long time, and today it's finally happening so, let's find out which phone is better stopping new apollo, and I'm puffing Jackson. This time it's really hours it's time. I want to say that both of these phones are excellent, like you'll be happy with either of these phones, haiku and Xiaomi. Both of them have done an excellent job with their respective smartphones.
This new mid premium segment is getting a lot of heat, especially because of phones like these over here now. Let's quickly get the similarities out of the way, because those are not going to be the deciding factors. First, similarity is in terms of that display. Both of these phones come with a full HD plus 120 hertz AMOLED display both of them have excellent quality panels, perfect viewing angles. Great colors and the contrast ratio is just excellent because they're AMOLED panels, the cherry on the kick over here, is that both of them have a 120, hertz, refresh rate and works really well now.
These 120 hertz works so well because of snapdragon 870. That is one more common point between both of these phones snapdragon 870. Now this chipset is an upgrade over 865, which was last year's flagship, chipset and works really well for all sorts of work. You can throw whatever you want at it, and it will handle it like a champ. Now, I'm a light user.
I don't use my phone for a lot of things. I might play cod mobile or PUBG mobile for one hour here in there. That's why I would consider myself as a light user and for my use case, like both of these phones, are actually overkill in terms of performance wise. I love the mi 11x as well as iq7. Apart from that, both of these phones are very slim lightweight and easy to use as well.
They are not heavy phones, the design is excellent, and you will feel comfortable holding them like, even if you use your phone continuously for two hours or three hours you are not going to, you know, feel stressed out, or you're not going to feel that they are heavy phones in any way whatsoever. Both of these phones also use high quality materials that is glass on the front and back, and they look premium as well. These phones will give you that premium feeling now one similarity between both of these phones, which I do not like, is no headphone jack. Yes, you won't get the 3.5 mm headphone jack, which is annoying. I love me.
Some wired, audio, wired audio is the best, and it's absolute on both of these phones. Now what about the differences? First, major difference is in terms of software. Mi 11x comes with mini, 12.5 and iq7 comes with fun touch OS. Now both of these pieces of software are not clean, they come with pre-installed, apps or bloatware, and if I had to choose one, I would choose me UI, 12.5 fun touch OS is not the best out there, and frankly I don't like it that much in an ideal scenario. I would prefer stock android or oxygen OS for that matter, but between both of these phones I would choose mini, because it's just a better experience overall and especially after me, UI 12.5, mill 11x has gotten a lot smoother and works like a charm. So I would definitely pick me up.12.5 over fun touch. Os icon needs to work on their UI.
They need to make it cleaner and better. Now, one point related to software is custom ROMs, so custom ROM community is way better for Xiaomi phones and that's why, with me 11x, you will get a lot of custom ROM support. This is a very big point for some people out there, especially people like me who love to play around with software. So please keep that in mind. If you like to flash custom bronze, you should go with the 11x, because you will get better support over there.
The next difference is in terms of the cameras. Both of these smartphones come with capable cameras. They have a triple camera setup on the rear side. Now here are the sample images. As you can see, there are some differences.
The first difference is in terms of dynamic range, so dynamic range is better in the images from the iq7, so highlights and shadows are exposed in a better way, but at the same time, the images from iq7 sometimes look a tad bit over saturated which make them look not natural as compared to that the photos from me 11x are more natural, looking which I do prefer. So, basically, both of them need some work. Icon needs to make sure that they don't over saturate. The images and Xiaomi needs to make sure that they improve the dynamic range. Apart from that, in terms of detail level, both of them are doing a very good job.
In fact, you can comfortably shoot at 2x digital zoom, without worrying about loss of quality. This is a very handy feature apart from that. As far as the ultrawide angle, camera goes, the story is same over here. Dynamic range is better from iq7, but the photos look unnatural. Saturation of the colors is a little on the higher side, which I do not like.
I like natural colors, because the photo should look natural now. This gets me to night mode. Night mode is excellent from both of these smartphones, and you can shoot some amazing photos during nighttime. It is available for the main camera, as well as the ultrawide angle camera on both of these phones. That is perfect, so you are sorted in terms of low light photography.
Now I know you guys might be wondering what about the front camera. Frankly, I like the front camera of both of these phones. I am a person who will not click a lot of selfies, but whenever I do, I think that both of these phones are going to be able to click some perfect selfies all right now. This is a very quick front. Camera video test from both of these phones I'll be switching the audio from both of these and there'll, be a little audio icon, and you know it'll tell you which device the audio is coming from.
There's one thing that I forgot to mention video shooting with these phones that ip7 supports up to 4k at 60 fps, whereas me 11x is limited to up to 4k at 30fps. So that is the limitation of the sensor on me 11x, and please keep that in mind and also, let me know which phone is better for the front camera video as well as audio now. There's one point over here. That is camera features. Now the camera application on fun touch OS as well as mini.12.5 is jam-packed with feature. So if you're, a photography and videographer enthusiast out there, you're gonna love both of these phones.
You get awesome features, and they work really well now. The next difference is in terms of the charging speeds, so ip7 comes with 66 watt fast charging and me 11x comes with 33 watt fast charging ip7 is clearly better over here. The charging is extremely fast and very convenient now in terms of battery life. Both of these phones are extremely similar. You will get very good battery life from both of these phones.
I have no complaints in terms of battery life for the ICO 7 as well as may 11x. Finally, the last difference that I want to talk about is with the fingerprint sensor. So me, 11x has a physical fingerprint sensor, which is placed on the power button. On the other hand, ICO 7 has an in display fingerprint sensor now. Both of these fingerprint sensors are accurate and work really well, although the ip7 looks way cooler with the in-display fingerprint sensor now at first, I thought that it would be slower and would not compete with the know, physical fingerprint sensor, but that's not the case.
This in-display one is excellent and works like a charm. To sum it all up, as I said in the start of the video, both of these phones are excellent, and you'll be happy with either of them. They are very good options in the market and provide excellent value. So if you want to buy either of these phones, I will make sure to drop links in the description box below, and you can go ahead and check them out so anyway. This was my comparison between iq7 and may 11x.
