iPhone X & iPhone 7 Plus Wifi Speedtest By Small Tech Reviews

82 thanks for tuning in to another video today, I wanted to do speed test on both these devices. The one on the right is the iPhone 10 and the one on the left is the iPhone 7, plus the both running iOS 11 point one point: two and we're just gonna: do a Wi-Fi speed test on the iPhone 10 I, put on airplane mode and just left Wi-Fi on and same with the iPhone 7 plus I do have my router, which is right back there. Basically I have one gig service here at the house, but as we all know that the Wi-Fi speeds are going to vary based off of the device that you have, the Ethernet cables on there are definitely capable of thousand Meg's and the Wi-Fi right here where I sit on these two devices, I tested before we're very similar, so we're actually going ahead and test that out right now. First, let's start off with the iPhone 7 plus I use a network analyzer, it's a paid app on the App Store and I find this to be very reliable. So let's go ahead and get that going here. Alright! Well, I got I, went ahead, have it up there, let's go ahead and run that test. Download, 533, upload 224, now I'm going to run that one more time just so that we can get somewhat of an average 538 here, the other ones 533, let's just call it a 535, and that is on the iPhone 7 plus now I'm going to go ahead and put it in the exact same position: let's go ahead and turn that off here we have the iPhone 10.

We have network analyzer, let's go and test that out. Oh, wow so looks like we have 200 megabytes slower on this for the download and the upload are the same. Let's test it one more time they do apologize for the first part of this test. I didn't have the upload I had it like this, but it was at twenty-four point. One I know it was twenty-three point: five and the download is actually 30 37 again it is 200 megabytes slower than the iPhone 7 plus.

So let me reset the network settings and see if that helps it up. Alright, so I went ahead and just reset the network settings. So let's go ahead and take a look at that again. Alright, so I have the same app running: let's go ahead and run another test now right, 321 and 23.4, and do one more time now right and the download on that. Second test is 590 and the upload is 19.2, and I'm going to do if just one more time due to the inconsistency of this test on the iPhone 10. So let's just do it one more time so download 421 now and upload 23.4 want to say that they're they're, both very they're, very great devices, but the iPhone 7 seems to be more consistent when it comes to the speed test. This is definitely the clear winner when it comes to consistency.

This phone is very consistent, and you can, you know, definitely rely on this. You would know exactly what you'd be getting as before the iPhone 10 as you saw I, had to reset the network settings and rerun the test. One point we had a very, very good score, and it just dropped back down very consistent. I mean it could be a lot of different things. It could be.

It wasn't on the same server just to check I'm, just going to run once the test on the speed test by Google a--. The reason I'm going to be doing it on here is because, at least here we can see that it's the same server, so I'm going to start with the iPhone 10 first. So, as you can see, it is the same server, and I'm just going to do one at a time all right, 536, download and upload 23.4, and let's do the iPhone 7 plus again it is the same server in 23.6. So it's an enormous difference and this speed test the phone 10 would be the winner and let's do just one more time: iPhone 10, first 24.9, alright, so 5:37 24.9 and let's go ahead and do that on the iPhone 7 plus here, alright 23.7. So with that speed test, the iPhone tenant is a winner here.

So I don't know what to think this show consistency on the app on that app I mean the iPhone 7 plus shows consisting on the other app, so I, don't know what to really what to really think they're both great devices. Obviously, when you're looking at these numbers, the iPhone 10 is the winner, and when you looked at the other app that I used, the iPhone 7 plus was a clear winner.
