Welcome back everyone, iOS 15, has officially come out in a beta form, so let's take a look at the battery life, specifically on the iPhone 7 plus. Now this specific beta, I think, is actually fairly stable even on the iPhone 7, plus it's a little glitchy here and there it definitely bugs is definitely not perfect, but, like I mentioned for a beta, it's not bad. Now. This is what I'll tell you about this. Okay, if you're an iOS 14 stays there, because the 14 you know battery life in terms of overall, like 14.6, that battery life is better than what you're going to get on iOS 15. So that's a major thing to keep in mind.
You do not want to install this beta and have a worse battery life than your other version of stock software. So take that as you will, that's a pretty big thing in my opinion now scrolling through you can see the last 10 days has been pretty okay. You know. Obviously I haven't been using it for the last 10 days, but standby time has been pretty decent, really whatever I was going to do with it. Has been pretty decent in terms of battery life, I it just so happens that compared to iOS 14 you're, just not getting the same battery life, so it's not better.
It's definitely worse for this first beta and I do think by the time the official version comes out, the battery life will probably end up being better. You know, I think it's going to be totally fine, and I think that is a major thing to keep in mind. You don't want to install a beta and have worse experience overall, you want it to be better, in this case you're going to get a worse battery life by about five to ten percent, which is not that bad. Furthermore, you know it's, you expect it to be like 30, worse, it's not the case here, but with that being said, stay on the official version of iOS 15. But with that being said, stay on the official version of iOS 14 you're going to be getting a much better version of software there than you are going to be getting.
You know on iOS 15 the beta, so that's essentially it if you guys have any other questions or anything.
