Apple did not stray far in designing the new iPad Pro 9.7 I could be boring, and just tell you there's a few specification updates on the new iPad Pro 9.7. There's a bigger camera, there's a stronger processor and there's a better display. Truth. Is it's not until you really put these tablets side-by-side that you'll see any difference. We'll start at the bottom. Things look fairly similar, but you'll notice.
Those two speaker grilles, are now further apart. This does make for an improved sound profile, especially when you find out that the new tablet has another two matching speakers along the top edge. The most prominent update is the new protruding 12 megapixel sensor on the iPad Pro 9.7. It really is hard not to notice and in practice it really changes how you handle this tablet more important to the overall camera experience is the addition of a dual tone: LED flash making the latest iPad for better or worse, an excellent photo capturing device. Last on the updates, look to the side to find the connector for the smart Keyboard, just three little shiny pins to help bump up your productivity.
Aside from these few little features, you'll find the same overall dimensions and connections and button placement as you've seen in the past, keeping the iPad Pro 9.7 a familiar experience for the seasoned iPad Air 2 user. It is the core of the iPad Pro 9.7, where we see the true differences over the iPad Air 2. This is the most evident loading, your favorite game or other large application. Here you can see the iPad Pro low, ? vault 8 several seconds faster than it loads on the iPad Air 2 saving you nearly 10 full seconds when starting from scratch. Luckily, it is really only in the heavier applications that you'll see the speed bump, navigating your favorite website, swiping through the OS or handling a typical email results in similar speed experience on both tablets, as I've said before, these are both fast and reliable devices.
More than capable of keeping up with your mart basic everyday tasks. The speed bump is also found in the camera, with the iPad Pro doubling the slo-mo capture speeds of the iPad Air 2, as well as offering 4k video recording, and this live mode photo capture just tap and hold the image in the gallery to relive the ambiance of the photo while navigating the OS is fairly close in speeds. Don't forget that the air 2 is a little older and is not without its faults. As you can see, the iPad Pro 9.7 isn't a huge departure from the iPad Air 2, but it's what's inside that counts. The first thing you'll notice about the display on the iPad Pro 9.7, is that it is a little brighter than the iPad Air 2. The addition of true tone technology adds for ambient light sensors to control, brightness and color temperature to get the most out of the expanded color gamut of the new tablet.
Io's 9.3 adds night shift to both devices. This is a blue light filter that you can adjust the best suit your tastes. This is mighty orange and the air 2 isn't added more dramatic above the change. All in all. With both tablets measuring in with a nine point, seven inch display at 2048 by 1536 pixels of resolution, you are in for a pleasant viewing experience on both devices at the end of the day, if you need to tablet just you know, sit on the coffee table.
Keep your company surf the web, while you're watching television either of these devices will do fine, do good to save $100 to buy the iPad Air 2. However, if you're looking to get the most out of productivity, I, don't over the iPad Pro 9.7 the extra price, combined with the extra speed power and ability to connect to the new smart keyboard and utilize, the new Apple Pencil smart stylus, make for a significant improvement on this tablet. Truth is you'll, get a great experience with both tablets, but putting them side-by-side. There's no doubt the iPad Pro 9.7 is the better device.
