A 20 first solution force, restart your phone before anything else, make sure to perform the forced restart to refresh the memory of your phone reload, all its apps and services, as well as rule out the possibility that this is just due to a minor firmware glitch.
Here's how you do it just press and hold the volume down and power keys at the same time for 15 seconds or more until the galaxy 820 logos appears once the phone has successfully restarted, observe your phone closely to know if the screen flickering is gone if it does move on to the next solution. Second solution wipe the cache partition. You need this to rule out the possibility that the screen flickering is due to some corrupt system cache. This doesn't only delete the cache, but also replaces it with a new one. What you have to do is restart your phone in recovery mode and wipe the cache partition from there.
Here's how you do that turn your phone off first press, the volume up button and the power key at the same time and release them when the galaxy 820 logo shows, once you see a black screen with yellow and blue texts on it. You have successfully started the phone up in recovery mode now, using the volume down key, highlight the option, wipe cache partition and then press the power key to select. It highlights yes and then press the power key when it's finished. The option reboot system now is already highlighted, just press the power key to select it and restart your device. Wait for your phone to finish rebooting, however, if the screen flickering still occurs even after this, then try the next solution.
Third solution: factory reset your phone at this point, it's necessary to reset your phone. It's the solution. You can do to rule out the possibility that it's just an issue with the firmware, however, before the reset make sure to create a backup of your important files and data, as they will be deleted after that, remove both your Google and Samsung accounts so that you won't be locked out of your device once everything is ready, follow these steps to reset your phone swipe down from the top of the screen and then tap the Settings icon, find and tap. General management touch reset tap factory data reset scroll down to the bottom of the screen and tap reset if prompted enter your PIN password or pattern. Finally, tap delete all if the screen flickering and shoot continues.
