Google Pixel 3a XL Review: One Week Later!

What's going on my pizza bar versatile is back with another video back with my one-week review of the galaxy ligase yeah. You see where my mindset is the Google Pixel, three AXL. Yes, it's been a week since I've had this bad boy here got mine from T-Mobile they're running a $400 off promotion with the eligible trade-in, as I've explained before, and I traded in my bittersweet Lea beloved Google Pixel to for this bad boy here, and this bad boy is better than a pixel. Two I will first want to come out and say about this phone that I have not even necessarily noticed that this is a mid-range level. Phone in terms of the processor Google did a great job of optimizing this phone, but it also lets you know just how much of a great phone is what you forget that you don't you're not carrying a flagship you're, not using a flagship phone using a phone with a Snapdragon 600 series, processor, a good, very good one in the 670 for the tech specs of it all, and you get very good performance now. I did notice that there have been some lag between using our having digital.

Well-being so, you know using access or having access to my data and then revoking access or basically disabling the well-being and I did notice. Some performance enhancements for this advice is just started, running smoother, faster, fewer hiccups, then having a problem with any of Google's core apps. There is still some lag with the messages app when you hit mark is read in your notification. Panel up I won't be able to show you here, but I use my fingerprint sensor to pull down on this, which is what I loved the most and I. Have no issues.

So if it focuses as AMC autumn well. All got, dudes swings away. I'll go up and swept away pretty fast. Now one of the things I don't like that Google it has not done what this device yet is updated for some reason: they've, like they've, forgotten about the device and say around June 3rd, we'll get like three months worth of security patches alone. Along with you know, bug fixes system, overall improvements and whatnot fluidity improvements.

But the problem with that is, we shouldn't have to wait that long, especially if Google's the ones trying to set the precedent for software updates. My galaxy SN e received two updates on the same month for April and May internal security and butter, smooth fluidity, whatever you want to call it silky smooth performance. This guy has been running very, very well even more so after the May up, they still haven't gotten right night for but the point is, Samsung has been trying to stay on top of their updates, and I'm expecting Google. The same thing do the same thing with their devices in the pixel three: a and three AXL I'm coming out with battery life. First battery life on this guy, solid, amazing, 3700 Williams, and it gets you through one day easily.

I have been able to get 26, 27, 28 hours of battery life and of that 6, 7, 6 or 7 hours of screen on time, which is amazing for this AMOLED 1080p display the fact that you get that, and you get great battery life, and you get great software. All under $500 should really challenge the smartphone market again to help us all see why charging 800 two thousand dollars, it's nonsense for a flagship or for a smartphone period, look at 1, plus charging 750, and you get more in that phone than most flagships period and with the Google Pixel 3 a and 3 AXL. You still get Google's beautiful camera that takes amazing shots. You get the camera. It still takes very decent quality, video mics external mics, a little weird I, try to shoot a video with using external mics, and you guys heard in my you know: April security patch update video about the galaxy s.10 I, shot that with this phone Audio is tripping, and I had an external mic involved, so Google, hopefully, you all can fix that in terms of that on this device. But video and photos coming out of this still top tier right there right a smidgen of under pixel three and a pixel three XL, just from the simple fact that it's missing a pixel visual core.

So you don't get as much optimization when it comes to HDR and processing. Now in terms of processing times, when you take night, shot or night sight pictures and in low-light pictures, it does take a little longer to process no big deal as long as the picture comes out. Great I'm not worried about the processing time on those pictures. There's an overall solid phone is the software Google again continue to show why they are more or less the king of software, it, so I'm say a pool. I said Google now, hopefully with Android cubes, you seem to get more features involved because I do like having some features and I love and from time to time, miss my Galaxy, S and II since I've been using this device, and that's why I think Google has now kind of left what was considered stock Android because you get a lot of pixel II based features such as certain Google Assistant features.

You know and just certain features. Nonetheless, that's within the settings on here you get with the pixel that you don't get. If anybody else kind of you know established Android on their phone, they have their own feature so that to me, there's no real stock. Android feel anymore and I'm. Glad that Google second approach of being colorful with their software, it's very fluid and for having four gigs of ram in this device again under five hundred dollars, and you get four gigs around it handles it very well hasn't, had any problems, opening and closing apps in terms of what's left in memory or a background and all that kind of stuff.

This phone is just a solid phone and for those who aren't really paying attention to specs, like that, you won't have to worry about your phone slowing down on you, because Google really doesn't have that issue. It kind of did with the pixel ?, but that was a bad year for Google period. The pixel 3, it's because of digital well-being. We all know, hopefully they'll fix that outside of digital well-being. Knowing this phone is great, you get always-on display, of course, the front selfie is a solid phone I've been taking pictures on Instagram and Twitter.

This phone is very solid. My wife is about to go get one, because she has been convinced that pixel is just where it's at haven't got to go away from my phone, yet, but she's at least getting to cook a pizza phone. Ok, so, as you see Google's doing that thing, they're showing up Applying ways that maybe a lot of people who's in the Apple ecosystem was a little surprised. Hopefully, we'll see improvements and other categories of hardware from Google, such as tablets and their Pixel Buds to be able to truly invest in their ecosystem, and that's why I'm kind of torn apart at in terms of ecosystem, I love, Samsung's ecosystem, but I love this pixel and what Google has done with it. So it's like I got a lot of things Samsung with it.

I got this pixel phone, but if still fits in nicely and perfectly because it's a Google phone that utilizes pretty much anything that you can use with a smartphone and, as I said, the Galaxy was connected as seamlessly easily no hiccups no lag. This one is just a beast, and it's well warranted to get and receive a ton of attention, and hopefully this really helps Google master where they need to be in terms of their pricing and features that they include with their smartphones going forward. But that's it for this review. It's been a week. I might have another review about this phone down the line just overall to talk about it, but in terms of what I've experienced, what I've done with the phone? In a week for at the time, this one's been very solid, very good as a matter of fact, I might just drop the review after we get all those updates.

So I might wait till June to actually drop another update on this phone just to see what has improved what has been added to the Google Pixel 3/8 and 3/8 X L, but your boy Russell signing out and until the next video, maybe they did baby to wait for.
