The Pixel 3a after months and months of leaks in speculation. It's finally official, and I have it here with me in today's video: let's unbox it and see what Google has to offer with this brand-new pixel, hey guys Ashe here from c4e tech, and let's get this video started now before we begin I'm sure by the time you're watching this video. You know the price right, everybody knows the price. So what do you think about it? What do you think is a fair price for the Pixel 3a? Let me know in the comments below and while you're at it if you do end up liking. What you see in this video please do turn on notifications by hitting that Bell icon. So let's now get the unboxing part.
We have the Pixel 3a box in here from the pictures on the outside. It looks very similar to the pixel 3xl box, tearing the seams open on both sides. Let's take the top off the first thing inside the box. Is the Pixel 3a? Let's remove the covers off and take a closer look now. A quick point to note here is that, while the Pixel 3a might look similar the older pixel phones, this is not glass, it is plastic.
The upper part has a glossy finish well lower below. It is more of a matte look in hand. The phone feels incredibly light and compact, since it weighs just a hundred and forty-seven grams and the display it's just five point: six inches. This is one of the reasons why the pixel 3 AAA feels very easy to use. Single-Handed dad said like with the pixel 3.
The bezels here are pretty big. At least Google has made good use of them. The year piece also doubles as a speaker, so yeah we do get stereo audio on the Pixel 3a. Both speakers are quite loud and combined with the full HD plus QI OLED display. The experience should be good now.
This is an 18 point 5 by 9 panel. It has HDR as well as white wine and one support, so we can watch our favorite videos or TV shows and rich vibrant colors. One more thing worth noting is that for protection, Google has gone with dragon trail. Glass instead of Corning's Gorilla Glass. Next, let's talk internals.
Here we have the snapdragon 670, coupled with 4 gigs of ram and 64 gigs of on-board storage. Now, given it is a pixel, and we know how Google feels about micro SD, no memory expansion, there is dual SIM support, but the Pixel 3a goes the iPhone route single sim + e sim. If you want to know more about Seasons and how they work, here's a card ?, my video on that now coming back to the phone itself, we have stock Android 9pi running on it. It's really smooth transitions seem to fly and even apps open up nice and quick overall, the Pixel 3a in the shot time I spent with that felt really fast and fluid I'm hopeful that the Arena 6.5 GPU inside should hold up well with gaming, given that this is a mid-range chip and the display remains small, the 3000 William hour battery should be fine, maybe not I, wouldn't really know till have spent more time with a3. A Google has, however, included an 18 watt fast charger in the box, and on that note let us get back to the box.
We have a sim ejector pen, followed by some paperwork moving them aside. We have a type c2, type-c, cable for charging and data transfer and then a time series USB type, a converter, happy that Google's included that we then have a pair of earphones yep. That is what do you think it is. We will get to it in a bit. We then have some replaceable here, death and finally, that 18 word recharge, 3 chargers.
That I showed you earlier. So that's it for the box contents. Let's now get back to the Pixel 3a, yes, that one Jack returns. It is present to the top, and here we also find the secondary noise-cancelling microphone. The power button and the volume rockers are present to the right.
The left house is the sim tray to the bottom. We've got the support primary mic and speaker now, the back here we have the fingerprint scanner. Pixel imprint is as fast and responsive as ever, and here we also have a single rear camera. Now this is a 12 point. Two megapixel sensor, the Sony I, am x36 three.
It's coupled with the F 1.8 lens with OAS. So basically the same hardware we've seen on the pixel three and the three excel the pictures. They look excellent as expected most of the daylight shots. They have perfect detail and the dynamic range was amazing, vibrant punchy, colors and though it is a single camera. The pixel free software is at play, so the software zoom comes in it does its work wonderfully well here.
Do low light brings with that night side. So, of course, I'm sure you guys know how this one goes: crazy, good shots. It's like turning on a switch good stuff, the selfie portraits remain excellent. As always forget, 30fps is the max resolution here. Electronic image stabilization also works at 4k 30, and it is amazing the stability it's almost like shooting, with a gimbals blown away by how good it's been.
So. Finally, we get to pricing and here's where my happiness and love for the pixel 3 egg kinds of came crashing down. The 3a is priced at 40,000 rupees. Now that's a lot of money for a snapdragon 670 I mean the excellent pixel 3 cameras to make it allure the pixel experience. The pixel camera is the fast and assured updates.
Now these are what Google expect you to pay for, but still I can't help but feel 40,000 rupees might be asking a little too much for a 670 with a plastic pail. But what do you think? Do you think it's worth it? Would you get? Would you be willing to pick up a Pixel 3a, or would you get something else say: wait for the 1 + 7? Let me know in the comments below and as always as or dislike, based on how you felt about the video subscribe to c4 attack if you haven't yet and ring that Bell for this is the Pixel 3a and frame, but it's a bad pen but fun.
