Do we really NEED a 2MP MACRO LENS to take MACRO SHOTS? By Lorenz Captures

Hey guys welcome back to a new video. The reason why I have my Niño temporal in my hands is because today we're going to discover if we do really need to megapixels macro lens on a phone to get perfect macro photos. So, let's see I should probably know under showing me no temporal. We do have the ability to click here and enable the two megapixels of macro lens, so we can get very, very close to our subject so like here, I can top the focus and take this shot about two centimeters from the subject and I can focus it perfectly. The reason why I'm doing this video is that this tiny macro lens it's only two megapixels. So its resolution is very, very poor and the photo quality in general from this lens is not that good, and it's not comparable with the primary lens.

So what I want to do today is to compare shots using the two megapixels macro lens on the Xiaomi me no temporal and the same shot using the Huawei p4e Pro, but using digital zoom. In fact, digital zoom is basically a crop of the main sensor. So, knowing that the P for the Pro has a primary sensor of 50 megapixels, we can zoom in digitally losing quality, obviously, but the final image will be about the same quality of the two megapixels shot on. So having said that, let's take a shot with the shiny new temporal, and it's 2 megapixels macro lens to get the same result here on the Huawei before the pro I can't forget in phone to close from subject, but I have to zoom in three times to get the same perspective of the 2 megapixels macro lens on the knee no temporal.

So let's try the shot viewing them from the screens. We do not see a lot of differences apart from the color temperature and the background blur, but now I will take some other shots in macro mode, on the show you know temporal and with the free x, digital zoom, on the p40 Pro, and then we'll compare these shots like we always do in this first image, we can see more accurate colors on the p40 Pro, but the most obvious difference between the two images is the background. Blur, as you can see, is a more way more pleasant on what we P for the probe and taking a look at details as well, we can see more details on the Huawei P for April I remind you that I have taken these shots with the 3x digital zoom on the wall way before the pro and with the dedicated macro lens of 2 megapixels on the show me no temporal on the right so, as you can see better dynamic range on the quality for the pro again here and over an over a better image on the wall way before the pro on the left. In this second shot, I wanted to test the pure details. So again, if I zoom in here, you can see a lot, a lot more details on the Huawei p4, the pro.

So let me know down in the comments if this macro lens of only 2 megapixels is really worth it or not, and in the shot. We can also see that, on the way we default pro because of its bigger sensor, we have more d focus, a more large D focus area here in the bottom left corner for the last shot, I've taken another shot of a flower in my garden, and here you can definitely see how better is the background blur on the wall with before the pro, because we are here we're using the main sensor on the wall default, Pro that it's bigger, and it has simply more quality. In fact, we can see a more pleasant background blur on the wall will be for a pro and also a lot more noise on the Xiaomi me no temporal and on the flower we can see that details are better, are simply better on the Huawei p4 bro. So this was the last shot, I've not taken other shots, because results are basically the same in every single situation. So let me know in the comments down your opinion.
