Cricket Wireless IPhone 8 Plus unboxing By Serby Waffles Tech

Hey guys welcome back to my channel uh right now. I want to do an unboxing of the iPhone 8 plus now I know this phone is about three years old uh. This was a flagship when it first came out and this phone is brand new. It's on cricket right now you can get this phone for 99. Now remember just about five. Six months ago, before the SC came out, this phone was still being sold on the Apple Store, for, I believe, 549 dollars for the 64 gigabyte version.

This is the 64 gigabyte version and uh. They also had the 128 gigabyte version on cricket about two weeks ago and that sold out pretty fast as well, and I was going to get that one, but I ended up getting the iPhone 7, but once I saw the price drop on this one for 99, I said I am going to buy it now. I do have another eight plus, but for a hundred dollars I mean this phone still holds value, I'm still seeing this phone on Amazon going for about four hundred dollars. So I think I got a fantastic deal if you've. Never owned an iPhone before, and you're coming from an android, and I know the seven might be a lot, a little small for a lot of people.

I would definitely go with the eight plus and, if they're still available, I would jump on this deal right away all right. So let's get it started all right. So let's go ahead and open this thing up here. So all right, it's a good thing. It doesn't have anything to cut so just peel that off beautiful I mean look at this box.

I mean this box is nice. I mean. Furthermore, I can't believe that I got this deal. Furthermore, I can't believe I paid a hundred dollars for a brand new iPhone 8 plus I paid, I believe, I believe about 350 for a refurbished one. So I mean this is an absolute steal, and it's still got a great design in the back.

I still think it's one of the better designed phones, all right. Let's go ahead and open this thing up all right, so we got our books up here on the top. I assume the sim card is in here as well. It's got the stickers' sim cards in here so too. Let's go.

Take a look all right. It's got the books here, all right, that's cool and so uh. Now I'm going to pick this one up here and just open this up and um pull it out of the box. All right! Look at that! Now, I'm going to peel this off! That's so nice, my god! Look at this! Look at that when you look at that. That is just amazing, my god, nice glass finish in the back wow.

This phone looks amazing, wow, perfect! Look at that camera in the back. I love this design of the cameras here. It's one of the better design, phones, um just feels so good. I mean wow. This is a brand new iPhone guys, and I'm already getting fingerprints on here so bear with me.

Now, let's see what else is in the box all right, so we do have headphones. These are the uh ones with the lightning port. So you don't have to worry about a dongle. You can just use these straight out of the box. Has the charging cable also, which is the lightning port? I wish they went to type c.

I still don't understand I mean I know this phone is older, but even in today's age, apple's still using the lightning port, but it is what it is and uh here's a charging brick if you have a faster one. Furthermore, I suggest you use it because this is really, really slow. Uh, it's a standard charging brake from apple um. I would definitely recommend a third party charging brake if you don't have a faster one, because this one is really, really slow, and it's going to take a while to charge. So that's it for the contents of the box and everything- and I actually ended up setting the phone up here and let's go ahead and just play with it.

For a little see it's super smooth. I mean it's an iPhone 8 plus. If I had a choice, whether I choose this phone or the iPhone SC, I would definitely choose this phone over the iPhone SE. Just for the fact that this is a nice design, nice size, it's a practical phone, it's a good phone, it's got great cameras and I mean for a hundred dollars. You can't go wrong with this phone actually for a hundred dollars.

You pretty much came up and uh. I was also lucky to pick up a case for this phone for a dollar also at the dollar store. Now I actually opened the case already, so I'm going to go ahead and show you what the case looks like now. This case was a dollar, so just black plastic case, it's not the highest quality, but it's going to protect the foam for now. So I'm going to go ahead and slap this case on just for now, until I get a better one, and the good thing is- is that it has this little kickstand here you can just open it up, just like that and just kind of set it down and then view your content, so there it is guys.
