Do, hey what is going on YouTube mike here from team very, and today we finally got our hands on the Xiaomi Poco m3. Now the poker m3 is one of the more affordable Poco devices right now and features some pretty good specs at a very low price point for less than 200 bucks. You can get some features like a 6.5 inch display a 6 000 William per battery and a Qualcomm snapdragon 662 chipsets. Today we're going to unbox the phone, and I'm just going to give my first impressions of this device. Let's get started alright, so we do have the Poco m3 box here, and it does feel nicely made and packaged opening the box. You get a smaller package that comes with a sim ejector tool, a free CPU case and some paperwork going further.
You get the Poco m3 itself, wrapped up in some plastic you'll set that aside for a bit and digging deeper, there is a charger and an USB type-c cable inside all null is a pretty solid package, and you get all the essentials along with your phone. Now, personally, I do think that the Poco m3 feels great in the hand you get a matte plastic finish all over the back, which does have texture similar to leather and, as you can see, we have the black version here. Although the phone also comes in yellow and blue, you also get the signature camera window up here with the triple lens setup, as well as a somewhat large Poco logo. On the side. Now the front of the phone features a 6.5 inch display with grille glass, 3 and a camera notch, and this is surrounded by the volume and power button on one side, a sim in micros tray on the other, while the top features, a headphone, jack loudspeaker and infrared blaster on the bottom, you'll find another speaker and your USB charging port alright. So the display is pretty bright and offers a good resolution at 1080p.
Of course, you only get a 60hz refresh rate, but at this price range it's to be expected. Overall, I do like the build quality on this device. It's pretty solid and there's no creaking on the body of the phone. The textured matte back is also nice to hold and adds a bit of grip to the Poco m3. It's a bit heavy though, because of the large battery inside, but it doesn't get too uncomfortable.
Okay, so right off the bat. The program 3's initial performance is decent, there's a snapdragon 662, chipset and 4 gigs of ram inside, which is a step-up compared to what you get on other budget phones at this price range. For this one, I thought that we'd try a few games and see how well they run on this device. So the only issue I have so far is that the Poco m3 is so heavily skinned thanks to Xiaomi's mini, and this does affect the user experience at times. For example, scrolling through apps or multitasking does invoke stutter sometimes, but general performance is still preferable over competing phones with less ram and weaker chipsets.
An upside to mini, though, is that lets you customize the look and feel of the interface as well as tweak the adjuster and control options on your device. I've also gotten great battery life thanks to the 6 thousand William per unit inside binging movies and gameplay is a joy on the Pokémon 3, and I don't have to worry about charging my phone on a frequent basis. Of course, factors like data usage, screen, brightness and graphics. Intensive games will definitely affect your battery endurance right. So I still have to extensively try out the camera on this phone, but so far it can get you good photos.
There is a whopping 48, megapixel main camera. Alongside a couple of 2 megapixel death and macro sensors pictures taken on the main camera turn out decent and there's even a dedicated night mode. Although quality can be inconsistent check out some of these shots. Okay. So as far as first impressions go using, the Poco m3 has been a pretty good experience.
There is a large display with good resolution, a battery with great endurance and a capable mid-range soc. The Poco m3 comes with a reasonable price aspect ratio, and we'll be doing more videos here on the channel. It's certainly shaping up to be one of my more favorite android phones, but we'll have to see about that in the long run guys we have more tech videos here on the channel so check out team very here on YouTube. Once again, thanks for watching.
