The BlackBerry key to actually came out last year, but blackberry just released a limited edition red version of the key ? and my goodness does it look good if you're, considering picking up the key ? as your next phone I would highly consider checking out this red version. You have this beautiful red, aluminum frame and the red surrounding the front part of the keyboard with the all-black textured backplate, which I'm not really sure what this texture or feeling is maybe a little of rubber, but it's really cool, and it's also got an all blacked out logo. Obviously the design of the phone itself, aside from the change of the color, is still the same. You get your volume power button and convenience key on the right side, there's a USB, C charging, port and speakers at the bottom and then a headphone jack at the top and, of course, the iconic keyboard on the front right, underneath the small but respectable and quality display. Technically, this phone does have mid-level specs running a mid-level processor, a snapdragon 660, but it does perform fairly well, as the software is very well optimized to handle. This type of phone internals, you do also get 6 gigs of ram ?, which kind of helps and the red version does offer 128 gigs of storage instead of the standard models, 64 gigs other than that.
This is just a really beautiful. Looking red and black version of the key to the keyboard. Experience is still great. You still get the same. Secure software experience that BlackBerry offers with the BlackBerry hub applications, the productivity tabs and, of course, the customizable convenience key on the side of the phone that can allow users to launch into any app or function that they may want to do for me personally, I like to use it as a camera button, but you can also launch Google Assistant or really any app or service that you need, and I also really love having a fingerprint sensor kind of not in plain sight, but actually being tucked away inside the space key, even though the display is only 1080p and 4.5 inches, which is tiny in this day and age. The scrolling swipe feature on the keyboard kind of helps me maximize the display size because I rarely have to touch the display when scrolling through timelines and articles I really love this feature.
Honestly, if you want to get a physical keyboard smartphone in 2019, you have really only one legit option and that is the BlackBerry key -. It's the best phone for those who still love the BlackBerry ecosystem and want to get a physical keyboard on their phone. Now is the key to read addition worth the extra money over the standard, probably not, unless you really love to read, or you like limited edition items. But if you do go this route, I promise, you won't be disappointed by that design. So let me know in the comment section down below what you think of the BlackBerry key ? in red or just the BlackBerry key ? in general.
Do you own this phone and, if so, have you been liking? It so far go ahead, and let me know all this in the comment section as always guys, thanks again for watching, and I hope to see you back at the next video.
