Well everyone lets's go ahead and talk about the Apple Watch Series six and see whether it's still worth picking up now. What I can tell you is obviously this watch is still worth it. It's been about, I think about. Like nine months since it's been released, it's been a very long time. To be honest, it came out in September of last year during that whole craze of apple, releasing a bunch of products, but they did delay the iPhones now, essentially, what I can do to pretty much sum up this whole entire video is, I mean you guys already know what apple watches are you already know what they do? The main thing I will tell you, though, is that if you have an Apple Watch Series, 4, an Apple Watch Series, 5 or an Apple Watch, SE you are in the clear you do not have to go and update to a series 6. There really isn't any crazy cool feature that the series 6 has.
I mean there's a couple of them like if you're super into fitness. There's a couple of cool features that the series 6 has like the blood oxygen levels and all that stuff, but for the most part for I've got 95 percent of people watching this video. You are going to be perfectly fine and perfectly content with the device. Like an Apple Watch Series 4 all the way to the SC, then you would get from a series.6 I mean the series.6 is obviously still a great Apple Watch. It is the best Apple Watch.
Apple makes right now, but it doesn't mean you have to go and pick it up. You know, I think, that's kind of what I'm trying to get at great watches for sure, but you don't necessarily have to buy it to even stay up to date and all that crazy stuff. Now, on the front, you still have the 40 millimeter. You know: option 40 and 44 great options. I love the 44 millimeter one I feel like it is.
My favorite type of you know size wise, but a lot of people still prefer. You know the smaller version too. So you have. Those type of you know capabilities with these type of watches, and I think that's what the best thing about these specific things are. You have multiple different versions you can choose from, but I do think another cool little advantage that you have with the Apple Watch Series.6 is its longevity. You are going to be getting a very long, supported watch from the series 6, rather than even like an Apple Watch SC, even though they came out at the same time, you're theoretically going to be getting a much longer lasting device from the series 6 because it has the newest chipset.
But one thing I've seen is that you're not really getting like a crazy big difference in terms of performance, the performance- and you guys have seen this too. In my you know, other speed, comparisons that I did even now, several months later, you're not going to be seeing speed improvements, you're going to be getting pretty much the same type of speed and even between the Apple Watch Series 5 and the series 6. There really isn't. Even that big of a difference in terms of really anything else. They have the same type of water resistance.
The displays between the series, 5 and series 6 were almost identical. In my opinion, the sizes between the SC and the series 6 are the same, obviously you're getting that always on retina display, but some people don't even like that. To be honest, and some people may even turn that off it does suck up a very little tiny. You know amount of battery, but it is kind of annoying to have it always on display. To be honest, I like having it off and then turning it on when I can so again, that's kind of like another, pretty big thing to keep in mind and even between the SC and the series.
Six there's still a lot of the same capabilities: the fall detection, irregular heartbeat. You know letting you know that it supports the family setup, so you can go and connect other family members who don't have an iPhone to your Apple Watch, the compass capabilities, the always-on altimeter. So those are essentially the main things and even now that's kind of been the case. You have more premium feelings. I guess for the know, Apple Watch Series 6, but they're still almost identically the same, and I think for sure when it comes down to it, something like an Apple Watch Series 6 is great all around it's going to last you for a very long time, but even when I was using my Apple Watch Series 2 I was like dude.
All I use on my Apple Watch is like checking. If I get messages and checking the amount of steps that I get in a day like that's all I do. I don't really care too much about really anything else about my Apple Watch, but that's a very small use case. That's me specifically. I know some more people who do almost everything on their Apple Watch.
They will get the cellular version of their Apple Watch, so they don't have to take their iPhone with them. So they can go ahead and go on hikes, and they could go running, and they can just do everything from their Apple Store, listen to music on her Apple Watch and a lot more apps are being supported on apple watches as well. So things like Spotify and things like that can already be used on your Apple Watch, which is massive so that in and of itself is another cool thing that you have on an Apple Watch Series 6 that you know maybe something like an Apple Watch Series, 3 or series 4 may not necessarily have maybe it'll be too slow or whatever the case is, but, like I mentioned with an Apple Watch Series 4 that I personally still own on my you know main device. I have no complaints about it. I think it's perfect for me.
Furthermore, I think you know for everything that I do. Furthermore, I think it's honestly too fast. Furthermore, I came from a series 2, and I used a series 3 flag week, and this thing is blazing fast in my opinion, so I think ultimately, the Apple Watch Series 6, is one of those devices that I am just so happy about. It is a solid you know device for sure, and I think you know if you're going to be using an Apple Watch. The series 6 is the way to go.
If you have the most amount of money, just go ahead and buy it, you can move on with your life, but I still think with something like an Apple Watch. Se Apple Watch Series 4 apple, at series.5. You don't really have that much to update too, like it's almost the same thing, if I'm being completely honest so when it comes down to that, that is essentially how it kind of sum up. This specific, you know review several months later, that's kind of how I see the apple at series, six right now, so that's essentially it if you guys have any other questions or anything.
