Apple iPhone 12 Pro Silicone Case Review! By Jared Ramirez

Hey guys what is going on, so today we're going to be talking all about the iPhone 12 silicone case. So, as you guys know, the iPhone, 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are exactly the same size. So this case is basically meant for the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro they will fit, no matter which iPhone 12, you have, which is actually perfect. That's a perfect thing because usually say if you had the iPhone 11, the case wouldn't fit for the iPhone 11 Pro, because, obviously the iPhone 11 Pro was a little smaller than the regular iPhone 11. So that's cool, that's kind of the same size for both. So, as you guys know if you've been with the channel long enough, I kind of say this in every single case, video that I do make.

But basically, if you guys have been with the channel long enough, you guys know that I'm not a huge fan of cases in general really, but there are two cases that I actually don't mind and I actually kind of do like to be honest. Those are the iPhone silicone case and the iPhone leather case, so those are kind of the two cases that are actually that I'll actually wear. This iPhone silicone case is a little different from the previous silicone cases. Um there's a couple of things that are different with it. The first thing guys is the price.

The second thing is the cutouts, and the third thing is the new mag safe. This case is now 49. Instead of the 39 price tag that it originally was um, it's now 10 dollars more expensive and that I don't know that could be because of the new mag save feature, or that's kind of the only thing that I can really think of that will be ten dollars more expensive is that they added a new uh feature in this case, which is pretty it's pretty cool, I have to say so, yeah, basically what they did in this case. Are they added some magnets inside the case, so the magnets would be a lot stronger to add accessories in the mag and the magnetic charger, because I'm guessing, if they didn't add the magnets in the case. Obviously, the magnets from that phone would be a lot they would be.

They won't be as strong as if they had the magnets in the case, if that makes sense. So basically, if you had a case that doesn't have MagSafe in it, these cases and like accessories and chargers, probably won't fit as well, and they probably won't stick as well as if you had the MagSafe in the actual case, which apple did with all the apple cases. Basically, that's kind of what's telling me that it's 49 instead of the 39 price tag um for me, 49 with tax, it will be like around 52 53. That is a that is kind of expensive for a plastic silicone case, but so far I've actually really liked it. I love the feel of it um.

It has a really nice grip to it. I just love the material of it as well, and the buns click very, very well, as you guys can see that I'm a huge fan of how the buttons press, because on some like cheap, not perfect cases, the buns are super hard to press they're, not satisfying to press. So I'm glad that apple had made it. I made it and very important that the buttons are very satisfying to press and very easy to press, also guys. This thing that I really do like about this case versus the last year's case is that the cutouts are a lot more precise and basically there's just little holes on the bottom of the case instead of last year, where it was basically a huge dip in the bottom of the case.

So I'm actually really digging this where it's like all covered up, every single side of the iPhone is covered up, so you won't get scratches or anything like that with the case on the phone, because on the previous silicone cases, it would be cut out right there, and you would see a lot of scratches near the bottom of the phone, which was insane because you had a case on the phone you shouldn't get any scratches on at all. So I'm glad that apple covered that up and made the cutouts a lot more precise. I'm a huge fan of that. Another reason why I like this case, a lot is because, when you put on the table, it doesn't wobble around, because obviously the camera is protruding on the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12. If you put on the table without a case on it, it's going to be wobbling.

It's not going to be its just going to feel weird, but when you put the phone on the table with the case on it, there's no wobble or anything, it just stays on the table and doesn't wobble, which is I like that, a lot that it doesn't wobble, because I don't like it when the phone wobbles without a case on it, but yeah guys so far. I really do like this case. The only thing that I'm worried about is using the MagSafe with this case, because I have seen some reports. I actually did a whole video about this, but basically there are some cases of people that had the iPhone silicone case and there's basically when they put the MagSafe charger on the phone like this there are. There is now a ring around the silicone case, um and obviously that's not supposed to happen, but because they're using the MagSafe charger that appears on their case.

So I don't know what if this depends on what kind of color you do buy for the silicone case, what happens to all of them, but so far I haven't seen it on my silicone case so far, but obviously I have the black one, but the one that I saw it on was a dark blue. So I don't know I'm kind of scared about that happening on my silicone case. So far haven't seen that happen with this silicone case. Yet so hopefully that does not happen, but that's the only thing, I'm kind of worried about with this 49 plus case but other than that guys um. I love this case.

It's one of my favorite cases like I said when I get a new iPhone, I usually get the silicone case or the leather case, or both of the cases to review and unboxing just to use, but yeah guys tomorrow, I'm actually going to be doing a drop test with the silicone case. Um to see how how strong it is and how, if this case actually does well with drops and stuff like that, because it is a 49 case, so you should, it should protect your phone when you drop it and stuff like that, and it is a pretty thin and light case, and it's not like a bulky case. That's one of the reasons why I like it so much. Hopefully this does protect the phone, because I'm using I'm doing the drop desk on my personal iPhone 12 Pro. So hopefully this does not break my phone or anything like that um, but yeah, I'm going to be doing this tomorrow, um or the next day, yeah guys so stay tuned for that video.
