Hey guys welcome to rider today, I'm gonna, talk to you about something, and I've been thinking about for an awful lot should I get a new iPhone, it's a great phone, I, really love. If I've had it for four years. So those videos for those of you who are thinking about specifically the iPhone 7 or 7 plus, which is on your left, the iPhone 7 plus, or the iPhone 11 or 11 Pro, which is on your right. This is the iPhone 11 and I'll. Tell you why I did not go with the 11pro. It's because I'm, a professional photographer I, don't need three cameras on the back of my phone.
The third camera. That's missing on this phone is the extreme close-up one. That's what I call if it's two times: zoom I, don't film extreme close-ups! I! Don't do that stuff! Guess what? If I need a close-up? I'm going to walk up to the person. If there's someplace that I need, you know to get closer like at the zoo and I just can't get in the lion's den I'm going to bring my regular camera with a telephoto lens. This phone is awesome.
It's the same thing as the pro ? the killer screen, which I don't need. This screen looks awesome in case you guys are wondering it looks really, really good on the iPhone, 11, and I'm a perfectionist. I watch movies on it. A lot and I do video and photography with it when I'm out and about I love, my iPhone 7 plus, you can read the reviews on it. People still love it today.
Apple is still selling it. As of this video in October 2019, why? Because it's an awesome killer phone, the pixel density is higher on the iPhone 7 plus than it is on the iPhone 11 and the 10r I love the larger phones, I, don't like the smaller phones. Now that being said, this iPhone 11 is just a little smaller and when I got it delivered yesterday, I thought: hey I, don't like it I'm returning it I, don't like it. I'm going to get the iPhone 11 Pro Max because I like the larger phones, but I decided to keep this phone because in the next morning and the next day, I got used to it, and I'll tell you why- and this is the main reason I'm doing this video for you guys, here's what I wanted to show you guys they have the same cases and everything now watch this. Here's the main difference between the iPhone 7 plus and the 7 as far as size, the 11.
Now, let's line them up, you can see that we're going to line it up to be fair on these icons down here and down here. Okay, it's even now, there's no bezel down here, because these iPhone 11 has no button main menu button. I got used to that. The face idea is cool. It works great I, really like it, so really you're not getting that much more real estate on screen size than the 7 plus, let's just say, they're, pretty much the same, plus a quarter of an inch more on the right side.
The reason why the seven plus looks larger is that the bezel is here: you don't have that here forget about the button here the menu button and forget about this. If you take that away, look at that's what you're looking at as far as the phones they're pretty much the same you're getting about an eighth of an inch more screen at the top of the iPhone 11, as you are, the 7 plus the 7 plus, is a little lighter and a little thinner. This is a little heavier. You can feel it, but is it worth mentioning? No, not really, if you put them up without lining up the icons, so they're about the same, you can see the difference. It's like a quarter of an inch.
The 7 plus just feels better to me, it's wider. It's a little taller just feels better because I like the larger phones, this one you can see it just- looks smaller and right out of the box I'm like nope I, don't like it I'm sending this back, but it's again it's an illusion, because you've got more phone: physical, physically, more phone, because the bezels are bigger. So you get the larger bezel up here. You got the bezel down there with the menu button. There's no bezel at the top there's just the cut-out part there see, and they fit the time into the left and the battery into the right by the way a little trick.
They don't have the percentage of the battery remaining showing. What you have to do is slide down, and they put it here, for you slide up slide down from the upper right 71%, that's their little trick! That's what Apple did because I couldn't fit it in next to the bezel there at the top. So anyway, I hope this video helped you guys in making a decision. Camera quality is a little better in this. From what I've seen one thing, I wanted to add: I love these people online, who take photos with like they're 10 R versus the iPhone 11 they're, like, as you can see, the iPhone 11 looks so much better.
Well guess what most people out there and not to Pat myself on the back, but just as a side note. Most of these people are not photographers, and they just do. Point-And-Shoot stuff and I have completely destroyed people, photography wise with an iPhone, 7 plus or even a 6, and they've got an iPhone 11 I've seen what people do with iPhone 11s, and it's garbage, and I've made comments on certain videos like dude no offense, but it looks like you took this photo with an iPhone 5. You know by the way, I could still destroy people with an iPhone 4s. Just because you have the newest phone doesn't make you an awesome photographer.
Did you know that professional commercials have been shot on the iPhone, 7 and 7 plus, and even the iPhone 6? It's true totally true anyway. This video is just for you guys. You can see the size difference, there's really! Okay, think of it. This way you get like a quarter inch more at the top. Is that extra real estate worth it? And it's up to you again if we cover this you're gonna, see it's the same phone, but I'm going to keep this iPhone 11 I, really like it.
Let's cover both of these guys up, see that's what you're looking at and get a little more real estate, only a quarter of an inch. Is it worth it? I don't know. The processor is perfect on the 7 plus, and it's really fast I mean look. We didn't do this I mean I'm, not seeing any real difference. You guys I mean this.
This is still really fast. This is the 11. This is the seven-plus I mean they're, both perfect. You know, is it worth the $700? If you don't need it? No, by the way, I will never do a slow fee and that's the last time, I'm going to say that damn word again ever stupid, stupid trendy garbage that I will never ever have a need for one other thing that I do like about this phone being a cinematographer is I can do slow motion in 240p and 1080, and this is limited to 120. So you're getting you know, half the speed which is cool not like you couldn't slow it down more in post editing if you shoot it with the iPhone 7, plus, it's just cool right off the camera to be able to go to 240 frames per second at 1080p, and then you can of course slow it down even further.
But again, if I'm going to do like slo-mo stuff, I've got my pro cameras for that, but being out on the town. Without my cameras available, it's great to have something like this. So I love it I, like it, I'm keeping it subscribe, give the video a like if you dig it or give it a dislike. If you don't, let me know what phone you have and what you decided to go with, and why I'll talk to you guys later, thanks for watching.
