There's been a lot going on in the tech world, lately Apple unveiled a slew of services. Yesterday, Huawei is launching its latest flagship smartphone today and Samsung even has a new mid-range phone to show off the Galaxy. A 70 might not have the most powerful guts, but it packs a triple rear camera setup and a 32 megapixels selfie shooter, which are unique for the category. The main camera on the back is also 32 megapixels, with a pretty large of 1.7 aperture, it's accompanied by an ultra-wide lens, as well as a depth sensor, presumably for portrait effects. We haven't been able to compare the cameras here to other phones, but as a reminder, the galaxy s 10 has a pair of 12 megapixel sensors and a 16 megapixel ultra-wide option. That has a 123 degree field of view.
The 70 is the largest in the series. Yet it's six point: seven inch, Super AMOLED screen has a 20 by 9 aspect ratio with a 2400 by 1080 resolution, as well as an in display fingerprint reader like the Galaxy S head. We don't know yet whether this is the same ultrasonic sensor as on the flagship, so there's also a tiny cut out in the center of the top edge. That Samsung is calling the infinity. U notch.
Under the hood, the a70 packs an unnamed outscore processor, with six or eight gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of storage. You can expand that via a micro SD card slot by up to 512, gigs Samsung, also equipped the phone with a generous 4,500 million power battery, which should church back up pretty quickly. Thanks to 25 watt, face chart support. The 70 will be the first Samsung phone capable of this, the only other handset it announced that charges at that rate is the 5g galaxy SN+, which the same sized battery, but it won't ship until April from all we know so far, which frankly isn't a lot. The 870 looks like an interesting mix of high-end features, but middling guts without knowing the price and availability is hard to tell how hyped we should be for it, especially when Samsung already has an affordable flagship in the essential.
We'll see you tomorrow, with more engaged.
