Answering Your Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Questions!!!!

Hey you guys uh welcome back to another. This is toothpaste. This is toothpaste that I dropped on my shirt earlier today when I was brushing my teeth anyway, thanks for tuning in welcome back to another video, I'm Jamel, this is a boy named Jamil. Let's get right into it. This video is going to serve as a kind of follow-up to the video that I made on my Galaxy Tab, s6 um, some questions that I've been getting really two main questions. Three main questions that I want to answer today is uh one: can you edit large files with this tablet? Two? Can you import photos directly into Lightroom with this tablet and then three? Can you edit video on this tablet? Let's start with the third question.

First, I don't know if you can edit video on this tablet, I've never tried but um. I can edit uh reels the reels that I sometimes post on my Instagram, I edit on my smartphone using the adobe rush, um editing program, and so my guess, my guess, is that you can also edit photos on this tablet. I don't want to tell anybody to go out and buy the tablet to be able to edit videos on have I been saying videos this whole time or have I been saying photos anyway? Furthermore, I'm I'm not going to say. Yes, you can edit video on this tablet. The answer is that I don't know, but my guess is that you probably can.

I haven't, had the opportunity to test that out, but what I can say for certain is yes, you can edit those large files and, yes, you can uh import uh photos directly from your camera to Lightroom, and I'm going to show you guys how to do both of those things right now. This is toothpaste, it's just toothpaste, all right. You guys here's what we got all right. We have the Galaxy Tab. S6 we have my uh Sony a7r4 and just so you guys can feel at ease.

I want to show you that this is in fact in uh uncompressed, let's see if we can get this to focus, I want you guys to see that I do have it set to uncompressed raw, all right and then set up over here. We got coke can smiley face flower pot and uh 85, millimeter g master, all right, and so what I'm going to do? Let's get this out of the way first. Is I am going to make some photos all right, so I'm going to grab this photo of this soda. Can all right I'm going to make this photo of smiley face flower pot here, let's get that focus right, and then I am going to make the photo of 85 millimeter g master all right, and so, if we go to the playback, you can see. There's g master, there's smiley face flower pot and there is coke.

Can all right there? Oh, can you guys see that so there's coke can smiley face flower pot, guy and Sony 85, millimeter g master and all of her glory. This is my favorite lens by the way, if you guys don't know all right, so we're going to set this aside, and we are gonna, bring back the tablet, all right, Samsung, galaxy, s6, and so what I'm going to do is I'm going to connect this USB type-c to the USB type-c port here on the a7 r4? Can we focus yeah there? It is all right, so that's just plugged in there and then what you'll see is that the camera then goes into USB mass storage mode. Alright. So now that we have that set up uh, I want to show you guys how to first import the photos into Lightroom super easy, so you can't go directly into Lightroom to actually these are some test shots, so let me get rid of those just so that there's no confusion all right, so I'm gonna, I'm gonna, delete those okay, so there's no way to go into Lightroom and get uh photos into here from anywhere in here. There's no way to do that because in Lightroom you can't go to the device folder uh on the camera, but on the tablet.

If you just pull up this file folder right, then it shows you just like it would on your computer and then USB storage, one, that's the camera, and so, if you click it here, and then you go into you know the DC, I'm just gonna, I'm going to go to f4 here just so we can stop having that focusing issue all right. So if you go to the DCIM, where you know Sony names, the folders or whatever, and then you go into the pictures, you guys can see that there is the g master. There is smiley face flower pot and there is the coke can all right, and so, if we want to import those into Lightroom we're just going to select them, then we're going to hit the little share icon down here, and then you can see that Lightroom is an option that we can share these photos to, and so we share it. There it'll do the thing where it's telling you that it is sending it to Lightroom. Sorry, it shouldn't take long, remember these are huge raw uncompressed files and there we go three photos.

What did that? Take 30 seconds so now, if we close out of that, and then we go into Lightroom, it's trolling me right, and we go into all of our photos boom there we go. We got g master, we got smiley face flower pot, and we got uh the coke bottle. So that's how easy it is to upload. You know these photos into Lightroom directly from the camera, and if anyone is wondering uh, they are uploaded as raw files. You can see here right full size, and then you get all the information.

So the second question that people were asking is whether you can edit these large file sizes and, as you can see, there is no stutter on this tablet. When it comes to that, I was just showing you. This is a screen grab. This is also a screen grab. That is a photo that I made with my a7 iii.

So that's only 24 megapixels, so you can see that there's, no there's no stutter, and so let's say we wanted to put a heavy processed uh like a heavily processed um preset on here. All right. So let's say we are going to oh actually I don't have my presets loaded onto this tablet. Hey look, there's ivan, say hello, hi, all right, sorry for the interruption, so we're back. I don't have my presets uh on the.

I don't have my presets on here, but let's just use one of these. Let's say it's a subject. The subject is travel right. You can see that this tablet has no problem, editing these photos at all and so um. I hope that answers the questions that some of you guys had.

Yes, you can edit on this tablet. Alright, so that's it for this video. Let me know if you guys are interested in all in me trying to figure out how to edit video on this. My guess is that you can uh edit video as long as it's like 1080p, but if you guys want me to test that out, I will let me know down in the comments. I think I answered two questions um.

Yes, you can edit large files on this tablet and, yes, you can import uh photos directly into Lightroom uh directly from your camera, and I'm guessing that if you have a SD card reader, you can just plug that into the tablet and then be able to import the photos that way also. So this was a way to do it without a SD card reader and to upload the photos directly from the camera into Lightroom. I hope that this was helpful uh. If you guys like these type of videos, let me know I'll make more of them leave any questions that you have down in the comment section and uh. That's it! I will see you guys in the next video like and subscribe.

Give me a thumbs up, uh yeah, that's it! I'm Jamil! This is the boy named I'll, see you guys in the next one: peace hey if you're still here um. If you were thinking about going out and buying a Sony a7c and you can't figure it out, just do it! This everything I record is lately. That's not in my basement with my other camera is on the a7c. It's a great camera. Just do it just do the thing all right, peace.
