10 Secret LG Stylo 6 Features You Must Know!

Now, the last tip is going to be an absolute lifesaver. You guys are going to want to listen to this all right guys, so maybe lg style 6 here, I'm going to show you about 10 different tips and tricks on this device. If you guys want to go ahead and pick up this device, I will leave the current pricing in the description, as well as the comment section down below so go ahead and check those links out, because we should have an unlocked, lg, style, 6, very, very soon. Alright, everyone so, first and foremost, we're going to show you how to speed up this phone's animations. I know I've had a lot of comments saying that it's a little slower than usual, and you can actually make it a little quicker. So I'm going to go ahead and show you how to do that right now, so very basic trick go in the settings right here.

Go all the way down to system once in system you're going to want to click on about phone once you're in about phone you're going to want to go all the way down until it says software info you're going to go ahead and click on that, and now you're going to want to go ahead and click on build number multiple times. So we're going to go and do that right now, you're going to then put in a password, it's going to actually ask you for your password. Your little lock screen, pin you're going to put that in, and you're going to unlock developer mode so once in developer mode you're going to want to back out of software info until you get to the system settings now, once in the system settings you're going to want to go to developer options, as you guys see, that's a that's an option now so go ahead, and click on that next thing you want to do is scroll all the way down to animations and also make sure to be careful, because a lot of these settings can really change the way your phone functions. So definitely go in here and make sure you don't tap anything, but we're going to scroll down to animations right here, as you guys can see and uh they're going to be set to default 1.5 times. So it's going to be 1.5 x, speed. Now what I recommend doing, instead of completely turning the animations off, because I know some people like to completely turn the animations off.

I actually just put it on point five, because I feel like some animations do help the way um the phone flows so, as you guys, can see way quicker going through applications. Let's go and click on that, as you guys see very, very quick. So that is how you speed up the phone a bit now, the next trick, I'm going to be showing you is very basic as well. This is the second tip you're going to hold on the screen, and you can actually change the grid size. Now, a lot of people don't like the default 4x6.

Maybe they want to have more applications on the home screen, and you can actually go to 5x5 or 5x6. So if you want to have a few more applications or just a wider home screen for some reason, you guys can go ahead and change that through there and click apply next trick is going to be in the drop-down bar menu you're, going to go ahead and pull this down right here and, as you guys see, we have different settings, but what a lot of people don't actually know is they can go um into the further settings of these certain categories, so we have NFC right here. All you have to do is actually hold on these, and it will take you to the full settings. So we'll talk about tag rating, and it'll show you if it's on or off. Obviously you can turn it off from the drop-down bar menu, but you can go into further um detail.

So, as you guys see, we have battery saver, we can have it enabled, and we can have it on maximum as well, so really cool that we get those details when we do hold on these certain categories. I thought that was pretty cool. Now the fourth tip I'm going to be showing you has to do with the pen or the pop pen feature. So, as you guys see, we finally have one of these popping pens, which I think is really great, and I've been asking for it since the style one. Just because the note, 4 and other flagships have had this in the past, but the tip I'm going to be showing you is basically going through here, you're going to have this little pen pop thing pop up, and we have all of these options right here.

We have five options: new memo, GIF capture, draw chat, swift text screen memo and what we're going to do is go ahead and click on settings, and you can actually change a bunch of different things when inside here, but I'm going to go ahead and click on this now you can actually add a new memo if you want to take notes every time this is popped out. So, every time you pop this out, you can go ahead and set that to new memo and, if you're a note taker, maybe you want to take notes at your job, or maybe you're in college or in school or whatever. This is definitely a great use case for this phone, and so I'm going to give you a little example of what it looks like: let's go ahead and pop that pen out fully pull it out right here and then the notes section pops up, and you can write your notes. So that's really, really cool. Now, some other cool things we can do with these settings are screen off memos.

You can actually write memos while the screen is off, so you can take notes which is pretty cool and pretty useful if you're in class or something also memo preview, show recent memos and PEM pop uh drawing sound, apply sound effects in drawing mode which is actually it's really satisfying. To be quite honest, I'm sure you guys have used it as well. We also have pen detection, if you guys do not want the sound or vibration you guys can actually go and turn that off. I personally like it, definitely put in the comments down below how you feel about it, uh, and we also have pen keeper at the bottom right here. That says be reminded when the screen is off, and you're moving with your phone without the pen.

So that's a really useful feature as well, because you definitely don't want to lose the stylus now. My favorite part about this whole thing definitely has to be the pen pop shortcuts, because you can actually map what applications you want to use. As far as the top five goes, and you actually pull out the stylus. So that's that's really, really cool so say I wanted. Instead of swift text, we can go ahead and put Amazon shopping up here.

Let's go ahead and pop the pen back in really quick, so the pens popped out pulled and, as you guys see, Amazon shopping is now on there, so we can go ahead and click on that and utilize that application. The other cool thing about this pen pop feature is, we do see previews of the previous notes we've taken, so I thought that was really, really cool, and I definitely enjoy that format. Now the fifth tip I'm going to be showing you how to add an app drawer to this phone, and I know a lot of people thought there wasn't an app drawer on this device, but there is- and you can actually turn it on in settings. So what you're going to want to do is go home screen settings and, as you guys see, we have a select home right there you're going to go ahead and click on that. Now we have three different options: we have easy home at the bottom, as you guys can see, and that shows a very, very simple format with a large font and large size, so that is going to be better for people um that have trouble seeing also we have home and app drawer, which is what most of you wanted.

Um. We have an app drawer icon that you can put the bottom right side of the screen and make it just feel like a more homey device, just because we are pretty much used to that in earlier pieces of software. So if you guys are used to home and app drawer- and you don't want everything on the front screen just so, you can scroll go ahead and turn this option on and if you guys do want that, then go ahead and turn home on, but go ahead and click. Ok and that's what we have right here. It's an app drawer so really, really cool, and we also have a little search bar right here in the app store where you can basically search what application you're.

Looking for in case, you have too many applications downloaded the next feature, and I feel, like everyone, should have this feature on their phone um, either at nighttime or at all times, because it's less straining on the eyes and that is going to be night mode. So night mode is going to be in these settings right here. So we're going to go ahead and click on settings. We're going to go ahead and search up night mode, as you guys see night modes right there, so go ahead and click that on you can actually schedule it to turn into night mode at certain times. Obviously, you can go ahead and customize that yourself, what I usually do is just have night mode on at all times changes to all black colors, and I really am in love with this mode, and I use it on all of my devices even apple.

The next feature I'm going to be showing you is how to open the camera quicker and more efficiently, and we're going to go into settings as well, so go ahead and go into settings right. There, click insert settings, go ahead and search up, open camera go and click on that and, as you guys see, I have this option on now. I believe this option is not on by default, actually had to change this. So all you have to do is go into shortcuts right here from open camera section, and it says press the volume key down twice to open the camera. Obviously, flossy carter calls this world star mode.

So if you guys want to film a fight or something all you have to do is double tap and the camera should open just like that. You can also have the phone closed as well double tap and the camera will then open. Next feature is definitely a personal favorite, and I use this in all of my tips and tricks videos if it applies to the phone and if they have this feature on that current phone, but you're going to go into camera you're, going to go into camera settings, and you're going to turn on tag location. Now. The reason why I love tag location so much is there has been times when I've been to a restaurant.

I've been to a bar, I've been somewhere that I really enjoyed, and I don't actually remember the name of the place or the location. So what this does are, if you take a picture with friends or by yourself or just take a picture in general and that location actually tags that location, and it saves it to the picture, and it saved the current location of where you are at so really, really cool feature, definitely recommend it, especially if you're going to club definitely a great thing to turn on now. The next feature, just because this phone is such a tall phone uh, there's actually a one-handed mode, you guys can utilize. So this is a really cool feature. We're going to go into settings really quick click on settings right there, and we're going to type in one-handed.

As you guys can see, this option is going to pop up it's going to say, one-handed screen, you guys can go ahead and turn that on. But I just want to explain this to you guys, really quick, so it says to bring down the screen, drag the left or right edge to the middle and hold, so that's all. You have to do so. We're going to go ahead and try this out so from the right side. We're going to swipe, left, 3, 2, 1 and hold, and, as you guys can see, you can exit full screen by tapping the top right there.

But this works really well actually, and, as you guys can see, we can just utilize our phone with one hand, so we're basically getting half of the screen. So I thought that was pretty cool, so if you guys want to go and check that out, definitely turn that setting on now the last tip is going to be an absolute lifesaver. You guys are going to want to listen to this now. I don't know if this has been happening to you guys a lot uh, but this Google Assistant has been nothing but a pain for me. Um, I've honestly clicked this so many times, and it's opened.

Google Assistant, and I've been pissed, as you guys can see right here. That opens up. Google Assistant, and I've been pissed off every single time and it just really gets annoying and the thing is, you can actually disable this button. So this is not like the Bixby button on a galaxy device where you have to utilize it on some of their offerings. All you have to do is go into settings you're, going to type in Google Assistant, open Google Assistant right here so go ahead, and click on that and all you have to do- is go down here, and it says: open Google Assistant you're going to go ahead and turn that off.

So that's all you have to do, and this button is just not utilized for anything. So if you guys are having troubles with that, and you accidentally open up Google Assistant too many times, you might want to turn it off yeah everyone.
