Yahoo Mobile Review: DON'T Sign Up for this $40 Unlimited Plan!

Yahoo mobile offers an amazing, unlimited data plan for just 40 a month. Here's why you shouldn't sign up for this plan in this video, I'm covering everything you need to know about yahoo mobile and why, ultimately, this is the one plan that you shouldn't sign up for yahoo mobile's plan on the surface looks great: it uses the Verizon network for coverage and includes unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited data and unlimited hotspot data. It's important to note hotspot speeds are capped at five megabits per second and yahoo mobile says you are limited to connecting only one device at a time. This plan does support visual voicemail MMS voice over LTE and Wi-Fi calling, but unfortunately, some features like domestic roaming international, calling international data, roaming and 5g access are not supported at this time and another interesting perk of yahoo mobile is. It includes Yahoo Mail pro, which is a 34.99 per year value and essentially gives you an ad-free Yahoo Mail experience now with that said again, this plan looks great. Why should you not sign up for it what's going on here? Well, the big thing.

Let me just let's go to yahoomobile. com right now: let's pull up their website here, we are on the website.40 bucks for unlimited data, taxes and fees are included, looks great, let's just scroll down to the terms and conditions here and boom right up top. The first line, your yahoo mobile service is provided by visible service. LLC mom is giving me a phone call, I'm leaving this in the edit, but give me a moment: hey mom. What's up, where was I visible is providing yahoo mobile service, and if we go to the broadband disclosure, let's cut to that here, we are, we can scroll down and boom again.

Yahoo mobile service is provided by visible, visible runs on the Verizon 4g LTE network, and here you can see more information about the plan where typical speeds are 5 to 12 megabits per second down and upload speeds are typically 2 to 5 megabits per second up now I want to emphasize the plans from yahoo. Mobile and visible are identical, they're, the same exact plan. If we take a look at them here, side by side, you can see boom 40 dollars a month same hotspot, same unlimited data, same price, two key differences. One yahoo mobile includes Yahoo Mail pro, so that's a thing and visible. More importantly, includes a multi-line discount.

So with visible's party pay discount, you can pay just 25 per month for the same plan. This discount saves you 180 dollars per year when compared with yahoo mobile again for the same exact plan. This is exactly why yahoo mobile isn't worth it. I'm big on helping people save money on cell service, and here visible, is the better option getting visible with that party pay group discount, helps reduce your cell phone bill and provides the exact same plan. Now you may be wondering stetson.

What is visible party pay? Is it safe? How do I take advantage of it great question? I have a full, dedicated video where I go through everything you need to know about party pay. What you need to know for this video is party pay, is a group discount each line is handled separately and with four lines together: you're paying just 25 per month on service, because each line is handled as a separate individual visible account, it's totally safe to join up with multiple people. You meet online with friends and family or anywhere else on the internet. In fact, there is a dedicated Subreddit where you can find and join party pay groups, so you can start taking advantage of that discount right away now, with these plans being exactly the same, you may be asking well, why does yahoo mobile exist and, quite simply, it is Verizon taking the yahoo brand name and trying to leverage it in the mobile industry. They're thinking, yahoo mobile is a little more recognizable than a carrier like visible, and you know it's just another brand.

That's out there to try and grab market share. The service is the same. The experience will likely be the same. I'm not sure if support is any different between the two carriers, but they're using the same network infrastructure and the same or very similar internal systems. I imagine so.

Furthermore, I believe it would be very similar now all right, if you're thinking about signing up for visible at this point. What is the experience like using the network? Well, I have a full, visible review, video which you can check out, but ultimately it's pretty good. What you need to know is visible is prioritized, so this means, if you're, in an area where the Verizon network gets congested, there's a lot of people connecting to a Verizon tower your speeds on visible will slow down. In fact, sometimes they will slow down significantly to the point where the plan is barely usable. Now this varies a lot by location to location.

So in my areas where I've lived, I've actually had perfect speeds on visible. If I do a speed test for you right now, you can see it's getting I'm reading this backwards in the monitor, but it looks like 30 is that 30 40. ? I actually can't tell what it says um, but you can see it's getting pretty good speeds and performance uh despite being prioritized, so it really does vary on location. In fact, what I would actually recommend you do is visible is offering a promotion right now or your first month of service is just 25 bucks. I would strongly suggest signing up for a new number for 25 bucks and just testing them out.

That's the best way to see what the visible performance and experience will be like in your area, and the other thing to be mindful of with visible is the customer support. Customer support needed a lot of improvements, and I think visible has actually made a lot of improvements since my original review video. Basically, what happened is visibly lifted the previous 5 megabits per second cap on their plan and that drove a surge of people to sign up for this new amazing 40, unlimited data plan- and I don't think the support was ready to handle that kind of volume of subscribers. So that's why people were having issues signing up getting activated and things like that. If you are interested in signing up and getting activated, I have a full, step-by-step tutorial on my YouTube channel.

You can watch that video right here, and I will walk you through the process of signing up getting activated and even keeping your existing number uh. So that's it. That is everything you need to know about yahoo mobile and why it's not worth it, because it's the exact same as visible and visible is quite simply the cheaper option. Please click the like button. If you found this video helpful, you can find more plans and information on my website.

Bestphoneplans. Net get subscribed for more videos like this one, I'm stetson. Thank you for watching, and I'll see you next time. Yeah. I know it's its it's going to be funny.

I'm going to see if people comment on it on the call yeah yeah I was, it was mid-sentence, I'm leaving it in I'm, not redoing it so, okay, oh my mom's calling yeah! That's exactly that's exactly correct! That's right! That's how it happened if it takes off. You know it's all about me right. Of course,.
