Hey guys Jamie here welcome back to the channel where we take awesome. Out-Of-The-Box Xiaomi is added once again guys after giving us a pretty sweet device in the Redmi Note 9 asses about a week ago that had some solid specs for around eleven thousand pesos. They just announced that they will be offering the rest of the note 9 series here in the Philippines. In this one, we're going to be taking a look at the most affordable one of the bunch, the Redmi Note 9. So let's show you what comes inside the box, so here it is guys. This is the packaging for the Redmi Note 9 now, a bit of a disclaimer I have unboxed this, since I had to take photos for the website, but I did put everything back as good as I could now before we open it up.
I do have to show you that we have a configuration with 4 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage. We also have the note 9 in the midnight gray color variant, so I'll save the phone for last, but you are getting a jelly case straight out of the box. It's in black, so unfortunately it will cover whatever color. You are going to pick out for your phone unless you're brave and won't use this. You also have the usual documentation, which includes a warranty card and user guide, so make sure you keep it in a safe place.
Just in case something happens to your phone and of course you have a charging brick for the note 9, and it's USB cable now for the moment that you've been waiting for guys. This is the Redmi Note 9 again in the midnight gray color variant, but it does look a bit more blue than gray, and that's just not the LED strips that I have around the home studio. It's made out of polycarbonate plastic, but it looks very elegant in this colorway, but it is a fingerprint magnet guys so prepare to give it a wipe down sometimes to get rid of those smears and smudges. It also feels good in the hand it's a little weightier than I was expecting, despite the build plus. Furthermore, it also feels slightly wider than some of the phones we've been trying out lately, but nonetheless, guys ergonomics are solid for a quick tour of the phone.
You have the power button and volume rocker on the right side. No side mounted fingerprint scanner here, like the note 9 pro, which we will show you in the next few days. But that's ok. All the left you have the sim tray on top is a microphone and an IR blaster and lastly, on the bottom, you have the headphone jack another mic, a USB-C port and the speaker grille. Now, since I've already mentioned, if you have the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone, and it's a little disguised by the camera array, I like the placement, but I wish it had a bigger groove.
There is a very, very slight dip to that. You know that it's there, but I've also smudged up the phone a little too. It will take some getting used to, but thankfully at least the scanner is accurate, and it does unlock the phone pretty quickly now up front. You have a six-point 53 inches, full HD, plus dot display, which basically means that you have a punch, hole that houses the front camera. It's an IPS LCD panel, that's protected by Gorilla Glass 5, which is always a good thing.
It has good picture quality and, of course, we're going to show you guys more of the concept videos from twice, because it's a good way to show you guys. The color reproduction plus they're cute I'm, pretty happy with the display so far. But let's see, if that's some quirks once we try it up more in the next coming days. For the processor, all the Redmi Note 9, you have the Hello g85, which is paired with four gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage for our review unit as I mentioned earlier, but the base unit will have three gigabytes and 64 gigabytes respectively. So far performance has been smooth, but I did just open this up and I haven't taken through the ringer just yet so make sure you check back in a couple of days for a gaming review and the full review that will be up on the website as well.
Keeping the lights on for the Redmi Note 9 is a five thousand twenty William hour battery that supports 18, more quick charging. The big bat of this phone is definitely one of its best features and should last you a pretty long time and then, of course, for the software, you have a new UI 11 on top of Android 10. Now, let's talk about the cameras and since I mentioned the punch hole already. Let's start there for taking Southeast, you have a 13 megapixel front camera tucked away in the punch hold on the upper left-hand corner of the screen that takes videos up to 1080p after FPS for the cameras on the back, you have a total of four with a 48 megapixel main camera, an aperture of f-18s Excel, ultra-wide camera, a two megapixel depth sensor and a 2 megapixel macro camera no sample photos yet, but make sure you follow us on Instagram I will be posting some of the photos that I've taken using the note 9 links down below guys. So the last thing that we have to talk about in this video is, of course, the pricing for the Redmi Note 9 and if you've been looking for a phone, that's less than 10,000 pesos.
Well, this is definitely another solid option. The note 9s price starts at seven thousand nine hundred and ninety pesos for the base parent, with three gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of storage. Now, if you want the same configuration as the unit that we have with us, you'll have to pony up a little more, since its price is nine thousand nine hundred and ninety the Redmi Note 9 will be available on shimmies official store on shop e at midnight on May 27, so that's later tonight, and they're offering the base model at 500 off. So that's seven thousand four hundred and ninety pesos. Now in case you missed that promo you'll have a second chance to grab the Redmi Note 9 on their Lazada flagship store links down below for more details guys.
