Hey, what's up guys, this is Phil here. Welcome back to TR his D today, I've got something new to show you all their special headphones made by Xiaomi exclusively for gaming. I had no idea that Xiaomi made something like this until I saw them on gear best and I immediately had to get my hands on them. They're 7.1 virtual surround sound gaming headset that — with RGB lighting effects, I'm pretty excited to unbox and check them out. So let's get started with the video. Let's see, what's written on, the Box you've got some specs written over here.
These headphones work with both PC and smartphones. They weigh about 250 grams and have a rated power of 20 mill watts, so those were some of its specs. That's it there's nothing much written on it. Let's get started with the unboxing. Let me grab my knife and cut this out of cover I want to thank gear best for sending me this product for review.
This headset is only available in China for now, but no need to worry. You can easily get it from gear best. So this is how the box packing looks like you've got a picture of the product on the box. It comes in black color. The box backing is also nice.
It's a clean and simple. Looking black box, let's open it and check out the headset wait a second. How do I open this? Ah, there you go. What kind of box is this? You got the Xiaomi headphones here and looks like there's one more box in it. That's it there's nothing else inside.
So these were the items you got in the package. The gaming headset comes like this looks like the company has made a stand, sort of thing out of this box, so you can place headphones in it when you're, not using them and long with that. You also get an accessories box. So first we'll check out the Xiaomi gaming headset. Then we will see what's in that other small box.
So this is how the gaming headphones, look like they are wired, RGB gaming headphones, and it seems that the wire is also detachable. The design of the headset is very nice, looks like a premium product and has an orange and black theme going on. Let me just put it aside for now and see what else we get in this accessory box. There's a user manual, but it's completely written in Chinese, so not of any big use to us. Along with that, you got a 3.5 mm, —, 3.5 mm audio cable for connecting smartphones or tabs, and a regular USB to USB type-c for connecting the headphones to your PC. Also, there's an inline control here, with a switch to turn on or of the mic.
You've got the logo below that and volume control buttons on the side. Now, let's finally check out the headset, so here are the shammies me gaming headphones there's a tag over here. Let me just cut it with my knife: there you go so the gaming headset has a very good build quality. It's mostly made of high quality plastic and the shell of the ear cups are made of aluminum. They feel light in the hand they only around 250 grams and the ear cups.
Also, look of good quality feel really soft and spongy. This is how the headband looks like it's made of plastic and a soft rubber padding at the bottom. You must be thinking where the RGB lighting is right. Well, this headset has 2 RGB light strips on both the sides in this glass area. I'll show you the RGB lighting later in the video.
Now at the bottom, you got the connectivity ports, there's a USB type-c port on the left and a 3.5 mm headphone socket on the right. The ear cups are also adjustable guys. They can be rotated just like this, and on the inside you've got the left and right indicators in orange. The light may tell you about the features the gaming headset features large 40 mm driver units that optimizes the audio with tribal equalization and enhances the sound quality of the headphones, providing ultimate experience. No matter you're gaming or even listening to music, it has a 7.1 virtual surround sound engine that creates a realistic, in-game feel while playing, so this increases the accuracy of sound positioning, making it easy to identify enemy position in games like pop G and avoid their sneak attacks. Also, this headset has a dual microphone: ambient noise reduction technology.
It's got two MEMO microphones that are designed in such a way to cut down the ambient noise. So what that means is when you are talking to your teammates in the game, they'll only hear your voice in full clarity without any background noise, so those were its key features now what I'll do is I'll connect it to my PC and show you how the RGB LED lighting looks on it. So this is how the RGB lighting looks on the game. Headset. It's got two LED light strips on both the sides that glow in a lot of different colors, the LED light strips give a very elegant look to the headphones, but I felt the light strips could have been bigger and brighter.
Also, the lighting effects on it are completely customizable. Through the game hits a driver on your PC. You can change the colors, you can change the brightness and even the lighting effects. Now let me tell you about the comfort and audio quality they're super comfortable to wear for long I'm gaming and the noise. Isolation is also very good talking about the audio quality.
The audio quality was amazing. While gaming, the mid, were crisp and clear. You could clearly hear all the dialogues, and also the frequency separation was very good. Talking about the treble, the treble felt silky smooth, I loved gaming on this headset, but for some reason the bass was very low on it. Despite having 40 mm drivers on the or all these headphones are doing, a perfect job for the price you'll definitely have fun playing games with it.
The THD was also less even at max volume, but the audio output was a bit limited now. One thing you should keep in mind is these: headphones are made specially for gaming with 7.1, surround sound effects. So it's not that recommendable for listening music, also guys the driver software has a built-in EQ. They can fine-tune the audio on it. As per your preference, as I've told you at the beginning of the video, these headphones are not only compatible with PC, but you can also connect them to your smartphones or tabs for PC.
You have to use a type C port and for smartphones, you've got a 3.5 mm, headphone socket. You can just plug in the cable and start gaming on your phone. But the sad thing is: when you connect them to your phone, you don't get those RGB LED lights, they glow only when you connect the headset to your PC with the provided type-c cable. So that was my review on the shimmies new me gaming, headset they're, perfect RGB gaming headphones. The build quality is good, have a premium, look love the RGB LED lighting on it, and the audio quality was also nice.
While gaming, the only thing I felt is the bass could be improved and the audio output should have been higher. It costs around four thousand nine hundred rupees and is available on gear based I'll. Just leave a link to that in the description box below you can check it out there, so that was it for today, thanks for watching, my video hope you guys enjoyed it, make sure to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for more awesome.
