You hi guys Chris here with another speed test comparison. This time it is the show me, 5s, plus with 4 gigabytes of RAM, against the Samsung Galaxy s7, which also has 4 gigabytes of RAM. So just quickly look at the CPU details, they're both very different. We have an outscore Samsung, Enos, 8, 80 90 and that of clocks up to a maximum speed of I, think it is a 2.6 gigahertz, and then we have the Qualcomm h21, which can clog up to two point: three: four gigahertz. Now that's a quad-core, so quad-core against outscore. So there's a lot more cause on the Samsung device.
Both of them are running Android 6.1, but they do have custom skins on the top. So we've got Touch ID on the Samsung and me UI, eight, which is on the show-me device of course. So both of these have had a reboot they've just come online they're, both cool the devices. So they should be a very even test here. I'm just going to clear the recent tasks, their apps make sure that is all cleared out I'm going to go through a couple of benchmarks.
Here, which is Geek bench 4 and n2 2, as well as loading up a few games, and we'll have a look and see which one is quicker there, so just to start out I'm going to go into Geek bench. For now, both of the devices have stock ROMs stock settings as well. I have not set any faster animations or anything like that. I've kept that on default on the show-me, so everything's default to make things fair here. So let's first run this at the same time, hopefully so definitely off to a slower start.
There, five years plus so the mm5 s+ are finished up. First there and very close scores when it comes to the single core score there. There is nearly nothing in that and, of course, the multi score cord is higher on the Samsung Galaxy S7, because it does have an extra four cores, giving it an advantage there. So exit out of this I'm not actually going to kill the app I'm just going to keep that in memory I'm going to go over now, n2, 2, okay, so look at that. They finished up Nick and Nick, and they have a very similar school they're.
The Arena 530 GPU comes out a little faster there than the mail et 880, but it did not actually expect them to be about the same there, so that isn't too bad quite a bit of difference to in the well, not really they're, actually that much difference between the CPU they see coming out slightly higher, because again it has four more cores on the Galaxy S7, so go back into home again, and the sopping unload up a speed chest here of the wireless speeds. Now, because I only have that one wireless connection I'm going to do this test here, not at the same time, but one after the other okay. So since the galaxy is even loaded up there at first we'll go first with that, one v5 BS+ is taking a little longer there for some reason: okay, those speeds they are looking good. My home connection is actually based off 4G connection that I have a 4G modem because I'm up in the mountain, you so perfect speeds there now we'll test that them in five years plus now it is out of my control, which server It's going to select here, so I'm hoping it's going to be the same server. It looks to be the same.
This beta is almost identical. You all right, so those there are more or less the same. Exact wireless speeds can download to Nelson game. So, let's start off here with the modern combat 5. Okay comes out first on the Galaxy a7, all right now, asphalt eight, the last game, I'll load up one two, three again, just a little faster there on the Galaxy S7, so I turn that audio down, because that will give me copyright issues.
Okay, so they loaded up but seems that galaxy c1 was a little faster they're on it. What's an update, so exit out of that is one I have a quick look now at RAM management and before I. Do that I'll just load the cameras and back again and have a look now at multitasking I'm, going to go right back to the first application that I loaded up there, which was Geek bench 4 and let's see if that has to reload, or it's still in RAM. Now interesting enough. The Samsung Galaxy S7 actually killed that one off that had to reload, but it was still in ramp there on the MV, 5s plus so back out of that again and have another scroll through that, and just do something a little more recent, so go back to modern, combat 5 and see if that needs reloading or not.
Ok, that both of them need to reconnect, but it's not actually reloading. So that was still in a memory there, which is at least good to see all right. So that's my speed test. There I hope you liked the video. If you want to see more just like this one here, what I think about subscribing if you haven't already, and I hope to catch you back in the channel soon see you later.
