Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Unboxing and Hands-on

Hi guys I'm max one block with DA TV and today, I'm going to be unboxing. The Xiaomi me 10 Pro. So let's get started so as I'd mentioned. This is the Xiaomi me 10 Pro. So this is the Box pretty empty little information there, I've 8 gigs of RAM, 256 gigs of storage in Alpine white and on the side here we can see with easy access to the Google Apps you use most now at first everyone thought: hey, that's a that's a dig towards wall way, but in reality this is just some new branding terms. That Google has required a lot of different OEMs to use and apparently the OnePlus found the OnePlus.

A main Pro have the same branding on the side. Now my OnePlus a name Pro. Do you come in a couple of days, but it's kind of interesting? If you ask me so, let's just open this box here and right at the top. We just have this, which is some papers, probably a case. I'd assume yeah SIM card tool see okay.

This is a USB ?, 3.5 millimeter, headphone jack connector adapter, whatever, because the phone doesn't have a headphone jack and honestly. This is like one of the few Android phones I've seen in the past year and a half that actually has one, and I appreciate it, because the Xiaomi me ten I, dare see me nine I, don't remember this one had one, but it also doesn't have a headphone jack either way, I appreciate that being there. In the case we have just manuals guides and then I. Actually, this feels like a pretty nice case. Nice I think this feels like a CPU clear case.

It's not that, especially once we get to the color of the phone which I have seen in a lot of pictures and alpine white is really great. Looking can you put that off to the side, and we can grab the phone itself yeah I, butchered that plastic job, but we can turn on the phone and I can finish the box. I believe this is a 65 watt charger to be honest, a lot 51. This is a 50 watt, wired charger, and this phone does support up to 30 watts of wireless charging and as it would have it over, the over Christmas Shame sent a bunch of these 30 watt. Wireless chargers to reviewers so I happen to have one that'll go really well with this phone, so I'll get to the phone in a second, it's a 50 watt, wired charger and then a USB, a 2, USB, cable I'm, not in I'm, not in Europe I, believe it's a European charger, so I have to get an adapter but hey whatever it's a 50 watt charger.

Why not use it? And now we get to the phone? Let me just pull that sticker off. You can see. I have no fingernails, and this is the Alpine white color. It has a little of a matte feel it feels like a olds like black OnePlus phones. So it's a nice feel it doesn't feel like it's going to get a bunch of fingerprints, and it has.

It looks like Samsung's prison white as prism white as well, where, depending on how you look at it, you get different colors through there, it's pretty nice and if you're, actually comparing design it is very similar to on the rear. To the Xiaomi me note 10, this is the mid-range, basically the mid-range version of this phone. They both have a hundred name, megapixel main cameras. They both have ultra-wide telephoto I, don't believe this as a macro lens. Instead, this has a 12 megapixel portrait camera, which is pretty interesting.

We actually pull out that original plastic. We can see here, snapdragon 865, 100, a megapixel quad camera with 8k video in ten times, hybrid zoom, a 90 Hertz, six point, six, seven inches dot display with true color and then deals, a dual speaker system for cinematic audio and one of my favorite marketing points for this phone was actually the symmetrical speakers, so that speaker in that speaker are the same. So the audio you play out of it will be true stereo instead of an earpiece speaker and a bottom firing speaker, it's pretty interesting for the phone. So anyway, I'm going to get this set up and then grab you guys some more specs about it, and we can go through a little of the UI, and I'll chuff any interesting parts of the set, a process when I come to them. I just wanted to come back to the video for a second to just mention that every time I set up a phone and if you know me, I, set up a lot of phones.

This screen takes forever. It finally went, but I was waiting for like five minutes for that to go anyway. I'm going to pause it again and finish, setting it up so I just kind of blaze through the setup really quickly, and I actually have it well finish, setting up now. So, as you can see here, this is the Xiaomi me 10 Pro. Now what I did immediately notice is this wallpaper does a fantastic job of hiding the whole punch? This is the default wallpaper, and it's not surprising.

A lot of companies try to do that with wallpapers, but it's kind of funny either way. It does have a bunch going into like the Settings app where it's all white. You can see it's a tiny hole right up here in the corner. Now I would say that it's slightly bigger than something like the s, 20 plus and s 20 volt run, which I can grab over here, but I would say it is still smaller than like the S 10 in note 10. So it's a's a DS, it's not a bad size.

It's uh still a little smaller than a notch. In my opinion, and we have me UI now. This is as I mentioned, while looking at the screen or the thing is this a 90 Hertz refresh rate display it is 1080p as well, which isn't a bad thing, because that saves a lot of battery, and you can't tell unless you're really looking for it, which I do. But still you can't really tell the cameras on the back. You can see here in the camera app.

It has a desk yeah document scanning mode, but we can see here. We've got the five modes, we've got ultra-wide, we've got macro, so you can zoom in really close to your subject or get really close, and it will still take a nice sharp picture. Then we have 2x zoom and 5x. Yes, everything I have is very dusty and then again this does have a one hundred and eight megapixel camera. Now this is a little different from the s20 ultras camera see.

This has 20 ultra camerae. These sensors at their core, are very similar. They have a hundred nine megapixels, but they're not the same see. This phone does pixel binning at 2427 megapixels. So it will take four pixels two by two, and then it'll turn that into a 27 megapixel photo.

So each four pixels equals one larger pixel on this phone it'll take nine pixels, so each nine pixel set a three by three will turn into one pixel, so nine smaller pixels, equal one, large pixel. This is just four. Is that going to make a huge difference, not really in well-lit situations, but maybe a night, but that's why this phone does have a night mode? Also, this one does have an optical in display fingerprint scanner. I didn't set it up, because I went through the setup process and select the fingerprint, and it didn't ask me for it, but it does support it. Something else it has is a very good haptics, like very good haptics I would say this is one plus seven Pro territory, haptics better than Samsung about the level of Google, OnePlus, OBO Vito, very good, haptics, and I'm really, really happy about that.

So I think that's, but pretty good first impressions and kind of unboxing of this phone. It's definitely an interesting phone, and I'm really excited to get to use it. These speakers have me really excited, and so does the 30 watt wireless charging. The only thing I'm kind of disappointed by is something we've annoying OnePlus about four years, and that would be waterproofing. There is no official IP rating, which is unfortunate, but hey it's kind of their thing, cutting out what you don't need.

Now this phone is 999 euros, I believe I have to check up on the pricing. So don't quote me on that, but I believe it's around a thousand euro, a thousand US dollar, which is really expensive for this phone now I think it's worth it compared to like you know, other modern flagships here it's. It compares very well very favorably, but again it's getting expensive up there for Xiaomi phone see. This is the 9. That phone was like 600 bucks, 600 whatever and whatever currency it was about 600 these.

This is a huge. So this is a huge upgrade from this, and also it's covered in fingerprints, mostly because it just gets them like crazy, but either way. This is a huge upgrade from the 9, and I do think it should cost more for the upgrades you are getting. But again it's you know expensive, and a lot of phones are expensive now and like the iPhone SE II came out two days ago went on pre-order today, that's a crazy good deal for what it is, so it's kind of a hard buy to try to get a phone. That's a thousand dollars in 2020, but hey the build quality on this is fantastic.

It feels like a Samsung phone plus I love the glass everything about this is fantastic. So if you want my full review, I'll have that in the next couple of weeks, but until then I want to leave you with it's a very good phone. The price has me worried, but I think it's worth it think yeah I think that's a good way to sum up this phone. So thank you guys for watching, and let me know in the comments, if you have any questions about this I'll try to make some rounds there and answer as many as I can.
