Hello everyone in this video we're going to be comparing the speeds on both the iPhone X and the iPhone 8. Alright, so we're going to be doing a speed test to test the speed on both of these devices or to see how much faster the iPhone X really is than the iPhone alright. So let's go ahead and power both of these devices on in three two one: there we go. Apple logos are on they're, both booting up the Apple logo on the iPhone X comes off and then shows up again and the iPhone x1 that boot test. Okay, let's go ahead and go into the settings, so you can see that we are connected to the same Wi-Fi network here, so we're connected to the same Wi-Fi network. All right, Bluetooth on both of them is turned off and location settings as well.
Alright, so we're going to be opening up all of these apps at the same time, on both devices to see which phone opens them up the fastest all right. So let's go ahead and get right into it. Plants vs. zombies. First, it looks like the iPhone 8 is ahead there.
It looks like the iPhone 8 1 x, vs Zombies, okay, moving on to the next one: let's go ahead and plants vs. zombies too, all right. So it looks about the same time, and it's still downloading content here, but they load it up at about the same time. Let's go ahead to Pok?mon zone and the iPhone x1 that one moving on to subway surfers. Okay, they were very close there.
Let's go on to the next one. Temple Run looks like the iPhone X is ahead on Temple Run here and just buy it small. Just by a little the iPhone x1 that one let's go to Temple Run 2 ready, go iPhone x1 that one as well. Let's exit out of that. Let's go to Clash of Clans up next.
The iPhone X did win that one as well, alright. So moving on to the next one clash, Royale three two one go: oh, that was almost a tie, I believe very close there. Alright, let's get out of here so moving on Angry Birds ? now, and the iPhone X, definitely one that one for next step in your head here. So, let's get out of this one, alright! So next up cross the road three two one and the iPhone x1 that one as well just by a little. Alright, let's go ahead and do Candy Crush now three two one and looks like the iPhone X is still ahead on this one.
The iPhone X is opening up almost all the apps faster than the iPhone 8. Alright, let's go ahead and open up some social media apps. Now it's going to open YouTube now, alright, let's go ahead and open up YouTube. Now, all right same time here go ahead and open up Netflix next, but same time here on both of them. Let's go ahead and open Instagram.
Now the iPhone 8:1 this one move on moving on to Facebook three two one and about the same time, if I'm not correct, if I'm correct the iPhone 8 opened up just a little faster, so it takes it out of that. Let's run a geek bench test on both of these devices, so both of these devices. So, okay, so both of these devices have the Apple eight eleven Bionic chipset processors, the newest processor, out from Apple the fastest ever made. The only difference here is that the iPhone X has a three gigabytes memory ram and the iPhone eight has two gigabytes of memory RAM, so the iPhone X is gonna, be faster because of that, because the memory RAM, the more you have memory the easier it is on the processors on the processor. So it does help it to open up apps faster and be a faster phone overall.
Alright, so let's go ahead and do a CPU test on them to test the speed of the processor. Let's run the benchmark and the iPhone X finished the test for with a single score of 40 to 50 and a multi-core score of ten thousand three hundred fifteen, the iPhone eight just finished up right after it single score. Four thousand one hundred eighty-six and a multi score of ten thousand fifty-three, so the iPhone X, obviously being a little more expensive. Having more RAM did score higher on the processor benchmark test. Here's just the information here on the phones.
The only other difference is the iPhone. X has iOS eleven point all point one, while the iPhone eight just has eleven I owe s eleven. Basically, the major difference saying the memory ram here. This one has three gigabytes the iPhone x and the iPhone eight has two gigabytes: they both have the same processor, the Apple, an 11 Bionic processor, at a speed of three of 2.39 gigahertz. Here we can automatically tell that the iPhone X is faster than the iPhone eight.
Not by much, though, as we can see well, this wraps it up. I mean this is the speed test. The iPhone X does have a lot of newer things compared to the iPhone, eight, obviously being the new screen different picture options that you have face ID now and all that being processed by the Apple, an 11 chipset. It also has more memory RAM, so it obviously is just a little faster than the Apple iPhone and everyone so hopes you enjoyed this video. If you didn't, please give it a like.
