What's up guys, joey here few attacks, and today we're going to be checking out VIVO's the latest addition to its x series of smartphones, the VIVO x60. This comes as a successor to last year's VIVO x50 and features a bunch of bells and whistles such as its 120hz AMOLED display powerful snapdragon, 870 chipsets and perhaps the biggest highlight its camera system, which is co-engineered with mass. The x60 is actually the first smartphone to come out of Vevo's partnership with mass and is one of the fruits of the newly established VIVO mass, imaging lab, which aims to bring together mass edge, imaging technology with VIVO's expertise in creating camera-centric smartphones, it's interesting to say the least, and the x60 will be early proof of what this partnership has in store. Now without any further ado. Let's get this thing out of the box lifting the lid of the box, we're greeted by the VIVO x60 itself, removing the plastic. We can see its nice premium design, but let's set it aside for now removing the piece of cardboard that holds the phone we get its accessories, starting with the right side.
We have a 33 watt charger, there's also a small box that contains a pair of 3.5 millimeter earphones, a 3.5 millimeter USB adapter, which is nice and two pairs of extra earbud tips, so you can find the best fit for you. On the other side, we have a translucent case, that's made from some pretty tough but flexible material slapping it on the back of the x60. It still lets the phone's color shine through a bit having this cool matted color. Look under the case. We have the sim ejector tool, some paperwork and finally, the USB type-c cable that ends the unboxing now onto the x60 itself.
Starting with the front panel, we get a 6.56 inch, AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x2376, refresh rate of 120 hertz support for hdr10 plus and is protected by the super tough corning gorilla glass 6. We get relatively narrow, bezels on all sides, with only a slightly thicker chin. The top of the display has a punch hole in the middle which houses the x60s 32 megapixel front-facing camera. Under the display. We also get an optical in-display, fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
Moving to the back, we get a frosted glass panel which again is made of corn and gorilla glass 6 for that extra protection. We have the shimmer blue color here, which shows hues of blue, pink and purple depending on the angle at which the light hits it, and it looks really cool when the colors shift around here. At the back, we get the triple camera module on the upper left, containing a 48 megapixel main sensor, 13 megapixel, telephoto and 13 megapixel ultrawide. These shooters are co-engineered with mass to talk more about this strategic partnership. Here are the benefits we see for mass.
It allows them to have more consumers to experience their cutting edge optical engineering through the avenue of mobile imaging for VIVO. It means that their strong, integrated, imaging capabilities can be further bolstered by working with one of the world's leaders in optical technology and for us consumers. Furthermore, it's a big win because one of the premier smartphone brands is working with an OG imaging giant, and we reap the benefits in the form of great photos and videos we're going to be taking with phones like the x60, we're going to be doing a separate video on this phone's camera so stay tuned. For that now, focusing our attention to the rest of the x60's body. We have the volume rocker and power button on the right side at the bottom we get the dual NATO sim tray, main microphone, USB c port and single downward firing, speaker and finally, up top the secondary noise-cancelling microphone.
Overall, the VIVO x60 feels great in the hands it's thin, but has a nice heft to it. That leaves the impression that it's tough, despite its premium, looks it has a nice size. That's big, but not too big. The buttons are positioned towards the middle of the frame, hence making them easier to reach, and the display looks great. Of course, the 1080p resolution is more than enough to provide sharp details on text and images.
Colors and contrast are great thanks to the AMOLED panel and, let's not forget the smoothness, that the 120 hertz refresh rate brings now moving on to the internals. The VIVO x60 is powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 875g chipset. This is basically an upgraded version of the snapdragon 865 plus flagship chipset. So we can definitely expect a lot of horsepower out of this guy. That's paired with a hefty 12 gigabytes of ram and 256 gigabytes of UFS 3.1, internal storage and those three things together are a formidable setup for performance. All of that is powered by a 4 300 William hour battery with support for 33 watt fast charging and running the software show is VIVO's fun touch OS 11.1 based on android 11. So far, the VIVO x60 is looking like a premium.
Mid-Range smartphone, that's well put together in terms of its design, camera hardware and internal spec. Some of the features we get here are a no-brainer for VIVO. At this point, and the really special one is definitely the x60s camera system so watch out for a future video all about that, but that wraps up this quick, unboxing hands-on of the VIVO x60.
