Ultimate Speed Test - ASUS Zenfone 6 vs OnePlus 7 Pro

What's up guys chick 760 Greene today I bring you a head-to-head speed comparison between the Asus before 6 versus the 1 + 7 Pro. Now the before is priced $4.99 and the 1 + 7 pro is priced from a 650. Now I have completed the full reviews of both of these smartphones and if you look at my top performing smartphone chart, you will see that the 1 + 7 Pro is ranked at number two and the before 6 is ranked at number.6 and I will put the specs on the screen side-by-side for you guys to compare now. The before has a six point: four inch IPS LCD with a Snapdragon 855, six gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of internal storage and the OnePlus 7 pro has a six point: six seven inches, AMOLED 90 Hertz display also running the Snapdragon 855, with eight gigs of ram and 256 gigs of internal storage. Now the OnePlus 7 pro is running oxygen OS with Android version. Nine PI and the before is also running Android version: nine PI, but with zoo version 6.

Now both smartphones support fast charging with USB-C ports. Now before has quick charge for and the OnePlus 7 pro has warped charging. Furthermore, the before does have an audio jack at the bottom and on the OnePlus 7 pro there is no audio jack at all. Besides, there is no official IP rating and no wireless charging on either smartphone. Now the before has a five thousand William battery and the OnePlus 7 pro has a four thousand William battery, so that was just a very quick side-by-side comparison with the specs.

Now, let's go ahead and begin with the actual speed test. Okay, so we're going to begin with a boot up, speed test, but let's just power down both devices. At the same time, first, one plus turned off first, okay, so we're going to power on at exactly the same time. One two three here we go and pressing both buttons. The before showed the logo first, let's see which one boots up first, while interesting result, so the before has already booted up and the one plus seven booted up after, so now we're going to do a lock screen camera load test so from the lock screen over here.

I'm going to try and open both cameras at the same time, and we're going to see which one opens quicker. That involves pressing the camera buttons, so I've got the camera buttons ready and all I have to do now is swipe upwards. Let's do it again, interesting, very close. I, don't see, I, don't see the big difference here in speed. It looks like the before is a little faster in opening that camera from the lock screen every single time.

I think the 1 plus 7 pro has a little of an extended animation or transition, which makes it look slower. So I guess the before wins this test as well. So the next test we're going to do is the fingerprint test. We're going to see which fingerprint sensor is faster. We have a physical sensor on the back, and we've got an under screen sensor for the 1 plus 7 Pro.

So let me just get my positioning right here. We go 1 2, 3. Ok, that was very close. I think 1 plus took that one. But let's do it again: 1 ready, 1, 2 3.

You know what they know. They look exactly. The same I think they are exactly the same in speed as you can see, the fingerprint sensors are pretty evenly matched and is hard to decide which one is faster. That looks like a tie to me, but definitely a compliment to OnePlus as they managed to make their under screen fingerprint sensor as fast as a physical sensor, so both unlock the fingerprint sensors equally fast, okay. So the next test, we're going to run, is the GPS test and I do want to show you that there is nothing open to the background on both smartphones.

So we can open up the GPS test at the same time, one two three. Now we are running this GPS test indoors, and you can see that the one plus seven Pros did connect quicker, and it has connected to more satellites than the before 6 with better accuracy. So we have a good GPS in both units, but it looks like the one plus seven pros GPS is a little more efficient. So now we're going to load up some apps at the same time, again, nothing open. In the background.

We are connected to the same Wi-Fi network on both devices. So let's begin with Google Maps, okay, so we're going to run a quick search on Google Maps at the same time, and we'll see which one loads quicker. So here we go, so I think that was quite even they both performed. Exactly the same to me now, let's try another app. So next up, let's open up Spotify, so one two, three pretty even they're, exactly the same I can't say that one opened quicker than the other.

It was exactly the same, so now we're going to open up YouTube at the same time. So here we go 1 2, 3, exactly the same performance, I'm tempted to just play a video. So let's play exactly the same video together at the same time, 1 2 3. So now we're going to open up Netflix. So here we go 1, 2 3.

Exactly the same. So far, the real world experiences have been very similar, if not the same. So, let's try playing a video for a few seconds. Both of these devices support google-wide wine level 1 and they both playback Netflix in HD quality. But which one do you guys think looks better? Do let me know in the description box below so performance wise, the place, the playing field seemed to be quite even and let's load up a big game.

At the same time, so dynasty legends, one two three go agree: allow to allow everything done at the same time. So, let's see what happens so the 1 plus 7 Pro has loaded the game up to the system menu. First, here's some gameplay for you guys to compare this game, looks stunning on both systems, but I'm only able to press one button at the moment. Let's try moving forward. Let's see if I can do this, so that's gameplay on both you.

Let me know which one, you think looks better. Ok, so now we're going to load another big game, Mortal Kombat, 1, 2 3, you can see the 1 plus 7 Pro is slightly ahead. So one plus seven Pro is definitely loaded up first, a bit of gameplay for you guys ready together at the same time, so they both play very well. But you've got to love that one plus seven screens. Let's try modern combat 5 one two three go one plus seven Pros is ready, so just to show you how they both look here we go so both for smartphones have dual stereo.

Speakers will begin with the before, we'll see how it sounds and the same song with the one plus seven Pro, with both smartphones placed on the table. The before is definitely producing a louder volume but which one actually sounds better quality to you, I'll play them both briefly again: I'm actually liking the before bear yeah to me. The before actually sounds not only loud of a better quality. What I want to do is play a different song now, just to make sure, and it's produce superb quality. Sound I, think I'm steering towards the before 6 is loudness and quality wise.

They both sound great, so I'm gonna, close all apps in the background, so we have similar results for the Wi-Fi speed test, 65 megabits per second download and around 20 megabits per second upload, and the top speeds we currently achieve in this office is between 67 and 70 megabits per second, so great Wi-Fi speeds on both devices. So here are the results for Geek bench. We have similar results for both single and multi-core, and that brings us to the an tutu benchmark test, and you can see that the 1 + 7 Pro has a slightly higher score than the before now. Another interesting fact is: both of these devices have the same: Sony IMAX 586 image sensor, which is a 48 2 megapixel sensor now. I know this is a speed test, but let's do a very quick random capture while we're here.

So it's going to do a straightforward, 48 megapixel capture with HDR on and the same with the before make sure HDI is on so don't if you notice, but the processing time took longer on the before. So these are the two pictures of just took and here are the results for the internal storage speed tests, and you can see that the OnePlus seven has much faster at read and write speeds, and this was quite expected, as the OnePlus 7 pro does have OF s3 storage. So there you have it guys that was my hands on speed comparison between the before 6 and the OnePlus 7 pro, and this is how I see it. The OnePlus has no doubt a better overall build quality with a beautiful, 90 Hertz family display. The performance is very fast on both devices but oxygen.

Os takes it a step further and OnePlus have created the fastest Android experience. I have ever used now. I was also very impressed with Zen phones, new UI. It is a stripped-down version of what we are used to seeing in the older influence and I have to say, they've nailed it. This time, before offers a pretty good performance with nearly stock like experience with no bloatware included, so great job on the UI's on both smartphones gaming is also outstanding on both devices.

You can play any game you'd like at full speed and at the highest graphical settings. Now in the camera department. I suggest you watch my camera comparison. Video, which I will link in the description box below both devices take great shots, but the Zen phones, flip camera has won my heart over. You basically have the best camera on the front and on the back of your device so best of both worlds and the results are outstanding.

Now the stereo speaker, quality on both devices are great, but I do like how the before is slightly louder. Furthermore, warp charging on the OnePlus 7 pro is ridiculously fast. You can fully charge from zero to a hundred in only 60 minutes and I did make a video on this subject and the links will be in the description box below, especially for you guys, fingerprint sensors were superb on both devices very fast and accurate, now you're getting a few extras on the before, such as headphone, jack and micro SD card slot, and it can take up to 1tb cards, and these two features are not available on the one seven Pro bottom line. Both of these smartphones are superb flagship options, but the bang for your buck award has to go to the before 6. How did a Sue's managed to price the before 6 at only $4.99 baffles me? It's 150 pounds cheaper than the 1 plus 7 pro, and if I had to choose between them, then I would probably go for the before as it offers superb value. Superb performance and lots of innovation, which we have not even seen before now.

I personally, don't mind using an IPS display, but I know there will be a lot of people who will choose the 1 plus 7 Pro, which is fine as it's the best-looking smartphone OnePlus I've ever made it's also the fastest smartphone they have ever made and, above all, I am just happy to see two great, very well-designed flagship beasts priced well under a thousand pounds, and when companies like before and OnePlus make devices like this, it means the playing field is going to get a lot more interesting. Now the choice is: ask people do let me know which one you would go for and why meanwhile, thank you so much for watching, and I hope. You all have a brilliant day. See you in the next one guys.
