All right, what is up YouTube? It's your boy, CJ from CJ unplugged, and today we're gonna, be talking about this here, the apple smart battery charging pack. Now I've seen a couple vid videos out there. I ain't going to lie they didn't we have to clear a few things up when it comes to this apple, smart battery case, and why this was actually the perfect fix for my iPhone 12 mini, let's get into the video baby. Let's talk about it all right, so the first thing we can talk about is the design. Take a look at this. I know it's kind of bright.

As you know, I'm saying it's going to be hard to see and stuff. You know the light is hitting it like crazy. Let me shade it up all right boom. So it's a nice smooth plastic. The only downside is it's white.

The first con that I see with this smart battery pack that I could bring up is we didn't get color options? Why is it just apple white? Now I understand apple, I get it. You got your brand with the white, but player would have preferred something like this to be black blue red. Like all the colors, you gave us on iPhone, 12 and 12 pro and 12 mini. We could have gotten in battery packs, or at least a few of them. My first complaint now here's something to think about with apple, smart battery packs the thing that I love about them is they're integrated into the Apple ecosystem.

They integrate with iOS, and they can speak and communicate with your device via the software. This is a game changer that separates this martial from all the other competitors that might be cheaper or larger capacity. You have to understand this was made to speak and also extend your iPhone seamlessly. That's why, when I use batteries for my cameras, I use the manufacturer batteries because they are specifically made to speak with that product now granted nothing against third party. If third party fits your budget better, then that's where you should be shopping in the discussion, but if you do have the budget to shop within the apple, you know offerings.

This is actually a pretty ideal Ida offering I'm going to speak on. Why, especially for the iPhone 12 many users, now my 12 12 pro and 12 max. This is also a good additive as well, but specifically for my many users who may have felt the shortcomings of the iPhone 12 mini battery that is eliminated with this here said martial, so gotta love if it's mag, safe, which is very convenient because I have it sitting around. I can slap it on my device. When I need it, I can take it off easily.

I don't have to overdo it and that's typically how I like to use my smart battery packs, but you do have the option to just stick it on and go about your day, and it fits seamlessly with the iPhone 12 mini. As you guys can see it's a nice seamless fit. Even if I were to remove the case and slap this bad boy on the fit is phenomenal. Now it gets a little different when we get into the iPhone 12 as that's a larger device. So here's the fit with the case, as you guys can see.

You know not as seamless, but you know it's kind of on there. It looks alright and then here it is oh man. This thing has been on there for a while, as you can see, got that little mac safe ring happening on the back of here. Sorry, I didn't have time to microfiber cloth. I just you know this is real life use bam.

Clips on it actually looks perfect on the iPhone 12. I like that fit in proportion. I actually like it. Furthermore, I like the way it feels in the hand there's nothing but a lightning port at the bottom. No, it's not USB.

Is it the end of the world? No, we still have lightning cables around to charge other apple products, so you know I would like USB, but that's nothing to complain about. I'm not going to call it khan, although it is a con, it is a con all right. Let's keep it a bug. You guys uh USB c apple, let's get there, but I understand why they're using lightning it's in their interest to use light um and speaking of this other lightning product, the iPhone I mean the iPhone AirPods too, I'm stuttering all over the place. The player is excited to talk about this, I'm amped up because you know calm down, people been talking wild and crazy, but you can be wireless charge your AirPods 2 AirPods, max anything, that's cheap! You know wireless capable you can slap on the back of there matter of fact.

Let me grab an android device just to show you hold on play, huh. Let's get that set the iPhone of android that Google Pixel file, let's see if it'll work. Let's see! Oh, it's its on there. Oh there, it is it's charging player, as you can see, so pretty convenient, pretty smooth, pretty straight to the point pretty straightforward. Now, let's get into some of the other things that are involved with this now it is only 1 460 William hours.

I believe in capacity which is just enough. Its fine people want larger. There are other battery packs out there that are larger, but you got to understand this was 1 460 William hours, that's what it's offering, which, if you charge from zero percent, your iPhone 12 mini it gets you about. I think it's like 80 percent check, my notes, yep 80, and then, if you do an iPhone, 12 or 12 pro, you can get about 60 from zero and then on the 12 pro max or whatever you can get around like 60 is. So not bad.

The fact that this adds an extra eighty percent of battery life to my iPhone 12 mini means I get through any day, no matter how hard or heavy use I'm going at it. Unless I'm just like ridiculous on it, and then at that point in time I have to reevaluate, wait my life and how much of a phone addict I am, but at the end of the day, this has given me that extra top off for my iPhone 12 mini on any given day at any given time that I've wanted. So the idea is, I can use my iPhone 12 mini as I would in this most convenient small form and then, if I'll be like oh wait, it's running kind of low, as you guys can see, I never charge my phone to full 100. I don't charge my phone overnight. You shouldn't.

If you want longevity in your lithium-ion batteries. Here's another great fact about the apple max a battery pack is: it will not charge your phone beyond 90, because it's preserving the life of your lithium-ion battery. That's another great thing about this: it being able to communicate with your device and limit the amount of charge to 90. So it's not degrading your lithium-ion battery. Is the plus these other third parties can't say that for them, they're, probably just going to keep your phone at 100 percent.

As I said, I do not charge my smartphones to 100 man, man plus slow down, CJ take a breather, it's okay! I know, but you know some of these people get out here and they just you know, just spill off at the mouth and that'll die without understanding. It only does. Ninety percent to keep the lithium-ion battery in good health. Now, if you were using these third parties, and it just blasts your battery to 100, you are degrading your battery- I'm not a fan of that. I'm a fan of this because it's thinking like me player, you understand to me and Tim apple on the same way right here.

So another quick note on this thing: is its only offering five watt charging, which is fine? That's fair! It's going to be slow. It's going to take its time. Now, if you needed to charge this up quicker, you can have the 20 watt. You know USB the lightning port hookup from apple which comes at a premium, and a lot of us bought it to complement our iPhone 12 12 pro so that we could get that true, quick charger. Now, if you didn't buy it, and you don't want to that's fine five wide charging with this, that's all it offers it's slow.

It's calm! It's steady! Furthermore, it's a side, kick to your iPhone 12 or 12 pro or 12 mini, and I love that about this thing. Furthermore, it checks all the boxes other than the look of it. I just that's my main gripe. My biggest con is the look. Why is it just white? We could have got a black, a space gray.

You know what I mean apple, a blue yummy, one of these or my favorite, California poppy. You know what I mean, but other than that the apple smart battery case. I've been using it for two weeks now I held off for two weeks because I didn't want to jump the gun and get the spelling out of my mouth like so many other people have done now you're getting all that technical jargon, nonsense. The reality is user experience. As I said, this would get me 80 charge from zero on my iPhone 12 mini, which is more than I need.

This extends my day of use. When I need it, it's mag safe. I can take it off and reapply it when I need it now. Some people might have been bummed that it didn't come like in a case hookup, but actually I'm happier with the fact that this comes at its own thing, because I can do things like this. I can keep it separately like in the car tucked away.

I don't have to have it on my phone weighing down my phone. When I don't want my phone to weigh me down, I can still use the iPhone 12 mini in this beautiful slim lightness in all of his glory and then tuck this on. When I want to add on to that and honestly this on the 12 mini is the ideal weight and everything and, as you can see, it does what it does. So, if you're looking at the apple um max safe battery pack- and you were kind of concerned, you heard some nonsense out there spill it's a great buy now granted. It is on the expensive side, that's kind of how apple rolls you know they have to get their margins, that's how them players be over there, but you can go cheaper.

But what would that look like on your battery life? Considering the fact that a lot of these other battery packs, they don't communicate with your device, they're gonna, just keep it full at 100 the whole time which is degrading your battery pack. Think about that before you hear all that you know nonsense. Now, let me call Tim apple, one sometime real, quick, because player hung up on me the other day. You know what I'm saying: hey tim, what up yeah man, hey man! I got that new Apple Mac saved battery case. You know I'm making a video on it telling people about it.

You know I saw a couple. Other people talking crazy about it. Here's my question to you player. You know I always got to hit you. I got to challenge you! That's how this relationship works.

You ain't got a real friend thing challenging you here. It is why only white player come on. Now you got a problem. You couldn't do space crate couldn't do matte black would have been perfect. What nah? Let me tell you this play a hook-up on him over a battery pack player.
