Technology news May 3rd 2017 Apple Iphone Ipad Intel Fix Android and more

Welcome to this Windows channel- and this is the tech news update- we are Wednesday, May 3rd 2017 and today in our tech news update. We have Satya Nadella that are once again talked about phones, and he said, even though, of course, the last numbers show that when those phone is pretty much dead, he said more phones are coming. There will just not be like the art today. So what does that mean? It's going to be interesting to see we still have rumors of a surface phone that might appear at some time. I would think that probably the phones will be the ones running real Windows 10 through armed I, think that would be a wise decision, but the anyways, you know, apparently more phones coming from Microsoft, eventually just different Apple might announce an Amazon Echo competitor at the WWDC 2017. It would be powered by Siri.

It would look like a Mac Pro aka, a trashcan well almost and apparently would be pretty high-priced, so I wonder what it could do, because you know when the Amazon Echo I think even Apple has a long way to go before they have a device like that. That could be popular. The actors that released season 5 of orange is the new black say they have 36 more shows that they will leak if no ransom is paid. This is very interesting because it seems they have a lot of content and another thing that's interesting. It seems they have content from not only Netflix but for from some other networks.

So it's a very interesting issue here and will one of them pay off to make sure that these things never get online? That's going to be a very interesting a thing to follow here. Of course, the ideal way to deal with this would be to say the hell with it were not paying. Then again, you know if you get all of your say they would, you know, release a Game of Thrones before it's even launched. I would have kind of a lot of consequences. Basically, so it's going to be interesting to see what happens here so Android usage for April in April, the Android usage numbers KitKat, which is 4.4 at 18.1%. That's a drop of one-and-a-half percent lollipop at 32% also dropping a little marshmallow, still the king of android at fifty-four point, five percent and finally nougat the latest version of Android 7.1 percent. That is a nice increase of about 1.5 percent. So interesting to see these numbers you get still very far behind of marshmallow, but at least you know if we look at this marshmallow, and you get together are above sixty percent sixty about 62% of usage, that is at least a majority in the latest to Android.

You know, operating systems. Lollipop is not bad, though at 32 percent, so I will see. Of course, as we go through the year 2017 we're also. We should have a new version of Android version, 8. What's going to happen well, Intel finally, fixed a 10-year-old flaw in its enterprise grade CPUs.

What was happening is that a long time ago somebody mentioned there was a flaw in the enterprise grade PCs and that, of course, remote code. Execution can make elevation of privileges, meaning pretty much. Anyone or any bad guy could take. Control of enterprise. PCs took a long time to fix, but they released a fix on May 1st, and if you are wondering if you are affected or not consumer grade, PCs are not affected by this flaw.

Contrary to some reports online, some reports online, we're saying: oh well, you know. Even you know, consumer grade, PCs are our Abdul flaw. Intel does say no consumer-grade, PCs do not have this flaw. Spotify is coming to the Windows Store, one of the rare good news of the Windows Store. Basically, but the other thing here is that it is probably a project Centennial port.

That means it's the desktop Spotify app that prism pretty much becomes a Windows Store app through Project Centennial. That actually makes it easier for any desktop app to become a Windows Store app, so I will see if any other things happen like that and as for yesterday, I was talking about the Office 365 coming to the Windows Store. Apparently it's going to happen in June. Well, despite changes in the laws that restrict NSA surveillance in the United States, they did still scoop 151 million phone records in 2016. They have all sorts of information, including phone numbers of you know the two parties that we're talking all sorts of little data like this about phone calls that happened.

You know this is bad, and this is something that should not happen. I'm really sorry, but this should not happen and finally, Apple iPhone sales are flat in the latest numbers that we have iPad. Sales are still down, and they've been down for a while. Yet one of the funny numbers of D iPad sales is that there's still more iPads sold than Mac computers. So, even though the sales are down, they still sell pretty well and rumors.

Have it that the iPhone ain't that would be due. This fall. First, a lot of reports came said: hey it's going to be a little later in the fall than usual, and now it seems that it's not just going to be later in the fall. It might actually be delayed until early 2018, apparently, some huge manufacturing problems for the iPhone ain't due to its design and technologies that are in the phone. So that's kind of bad news.

If you, you know, look at the numbers that say: I the iPhone cell sales are flat because now there's a delay, it means that you know you'll still have flat cells people. You know that are waiting for that iPhone 8, that that is supposed to have so many new features. I have got a, wait, you know. So. Basically this was a tech news update for Wednesday made a third 2017.
