TCL 10 Pro - Unboxing & First Impressions - New Competition for Mid Range - YouTube Tech Guy By The YouTube Tech Guy

Hello this is rocky the YouTube tech guy, hey guys. So today we are unboxing giving our first impressions on the TCL 10 pro now this device is one that I'm also excited for. We have been checking out the TCL 10 l make sure to subscribe for the review on that one, and this one is going to be the more really budget phone that kind of takes on the iPhone SE, the pixels and the Samsung a series. So this one really has a lot of going for it: an AMOLED display with a 64 megapixel camera 128, gigs of storage, 6 gigs of ram and 4 500 William battery. So it looks like a solid phone for this price point, and I'm really curious to see what TCL can bring to this market and just how good it is. I will give them a lot for the software they created.

It really is much better than what Alcatel used to have, and they have improved it. A lot in terms of doing little things that even other high-end android manufacturers don't do so display greatness, is their slogan and ooh that nice frosted bag. I really, really like that bag. Actually, that is a really nice looking one it's clean, it's simple, but yeah and the camera layout is pretty cool. It has two LEDs.

I think that's laser focus, go ahead and turn that on and yes, you do have a case as well. So that's one thing I really like about TCL they're, actually giving you cases which is really nice. You don't always get that. So I do like that ability. This one is a very nice looking one, it does say their display greatness slogan, so you make sure not to forget it, of course, and then let's go ahead and check out the chargers we have here.

So we have an USB cable c2a, and then we still have the power brick, and it's 18 watt fast charge all right. So now I'm going to set it up, and then we'll see my initial thoughts on it all right guys so got a chance to set up the device and really kind of play with it. Overall I will say this fingerprint is interesting. It's different from how you do it. Basically, you kind of have to just hold it there um I'm going to see.

Obviously this is in final build software, but once you get used to it, you kind of learn how to use it. So that's my first impression with the fingerprint overall, the phone moves pretty fast in terms of just having everything that I normally would have on my phone on here. So no complaints there, you have a secondary swipe here, which I do like again. TCL has really done good at software features that I like from other places, and I would like to point out that we have an IR blaster. So you know this is going to be one of the best phones to look at of the year because it brought back the IR blaster that so many people have wanted for so long.

So the fact that it's under 500 is just really a going to be amazing point, and I will gladly have this as my daily driver with an IR blaster, so very happy about that. In terms of the photos. I did take a few, I'm just overall, just kind of seeing how quality was obviously just around the house, and you know fascinating in terms of the look and yeah no complaints really. I do have to, of course put them on the computer, see how they kind of turn out, as also I'm going to get software updates as well before the release. So when we get to the full review I'll be able to have more comprehensive on that, but good quality.

From what I see and again, I like the things that TCL put in it at this price point, especially even the smart key right here again, you can kind of program it to see how it was. We talked about that on the 10 l, but very happy to see that and overall just interested to see how this turns out really want to put it through its paces and again, I'm very happy about that IRA, blaster and really good-looking screen so yeah, I'm excited to see it guys. I really do love the AMOLED. I noticed that it's definitely better than the 10 l when it comes to that screen quality because of the AMOLED, especially when I was shooting photos outside this was much easier to see, and it even has like an outside mode for viewing too. So let me know what you guys want to see from it.
