TCL 10 Pro Unboxing & First Impressions: Impressive So Far... By BWOne

This is the phone I've been looking forward to ever since I saw it earlier this year at CES, and that is a TCL 10 Pro. What makes it so intriguing to me is what they're offering in this package here and at the price point it's going to make it really competitive in this new, affordable budget, smartphone market well, shouldn't say new. This is more hotly contested market that we're seeing a lot. A lot of devices come out here in 2010 here, with. Let's take a look, what we get inside the package here when it comes to the TCL tempura, nothing too, fancy pretty simple stuff: you get the 10 Pro itself, you get a USB, a 2, USB cable. You also get a quick charge, 3pi notice, so Qualcomm quick recipe, point Oh wall adapter, along with it to charge.

Obviously your phone there, you do get a case with it here. It's a pretty simple plastic case. You kind of put right on and had displayed greatness kind of edged on the back of it here. So it adds a little more thickness and grip to the phone here itself. Although the phone itself feels perfect with it really nice finish, we have on the back of here, I love.

This color here, there's also a green color of this as well -. It just looks really nice, and it just feels perfect and very premium in hand here now for specs we're looking at some pretty good mid-range specs here, snapdragon 685 processors, along with 60 gigabytes of RAM, ?, 20, gigabytes of storage, 4,500 million power battery, we have a 6.5 near 6.5, inch, full HD plus, and will that display on it curved AMOLED display at that as well -. So we're getting some really nice display on you and display on here, along with NOT vision, which is one of the features they are not here to help enhance the sort of the colors and the looks and the styles of things that you look here on the device and will definitely kind of put that here play to the test as we sort of walk through it now. One of the key features people are definitely focusing on. This is the camera system on the 10th pro now on the front you have a 24 megapixel front facing camera will definitely sort of poke around with that, but really it's a quad camera system here on the rear.

That's fascinating, if it's very flush on the back here and has two LEDs on the side, and you can see that ladies kind of pop up just slightly a little, so it's not totally flush there on the back, but that quarter. Cam camera setup has a 64 megapixel sensor on it and as an out for a low light sensor on it as well. ?, that's supposed to be perfect for video mode. They have here from ultra low lights, on that it's going to be fascinating to test I'm, looking forward to testing that they also have some pretty cool different modes in here inside the camera, app, which looks like there's a lot of good things to kind of test out from super night mode, this portrait mode. Obviously every camera got to have that, so you have to test that out.

I'm also looking forward to testing out the light scene mode that seems like it's, a pretty cool sort of style feature to get some pretty cool photos here with it. The sensor, hopefully, should be able to handle that. Hopefully, the software inside here does a pretty good job effect and taking up just a few quick snaps seems like the shutters fast enough that should be able to handle most things that we're looking for out there. So we'll see I'm looking forward to really putting the camera to the test and seeing how all that works on them, rear, specifically more test front as well to some other cooler specs that I found. That is a dedicated smart key out here on the side that you can program to do ever.

Do we want to do with it? Have a ton of different presets? You can use for me if I press it once it will actually open up the edge apps here on the sides, pretty cool thing, and we've seen edge ops and other devices before, but they have it on here for quick access. If I double press, if Is filled up the camera and if I long press, unless you open up Google Assistant, pretty cool way to kind of give you some multi multiple functionality there, and you can kind of customize that and like I said with as many presets as you want to get the desired sort of thing you want to use with it. So that's another little cool feature that it has here. Also, it does have a for security, it does have a finger % and it's underneath the display. So it's in display, which is really nice and what's cool a little cool trick, I found with it here, and I think there's some of the stuff that's going on here with this TCL UI.

That's pretty interesting so far, is that when you, when you actually press down on the fingerprint sensor, to unlock the phone, if you continue to hold it, you actually get some finger, pick quick actions, so you're going to be able to kind of customize and set those as you want to. So it's a pretty cool way just to get to something really quickly. If you want to program it there, for you, that's just a quick sort of look here. My first impressions now with the TCL 10 Pro I'm, really excited for this is coming around I, think 450 to 500 dollars when it's going to be released out here, competitive price point for the spec Center, your features, look the style, the feel excited to really put this to the test. Definitely let me know anything.

You specifically want me to look at in the comments below as I'm going through my paces here with it. I'm actually really excited. Like I said. The contest is up because I want to see more and more manufacturers come out here at TCL who's, more known for, like probably your TV's and sort of other stuff. They do make phones, they make a lot of blackberry phones as well ? they make my phone, so I'll go tell bran as well.
