Tab S7 XL Lite? Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite UPDATE

Hey everybody welcome back to tech odyssey. So today, I'm here to talk about a change and what's going on with the upcoming budget, light series tablet from Samsung. I just made a video the other day because there were new leaks. There were new information, new pictures, all sorts of stuff about what was supposedly going to be the new tab, s7 lite, and we're talking about a 12.4-inch tablet here the upgraded version over the s6 lite that came out last year, hugely popular, and now it looks like they're, actually doing a name change to this, and it's going to be called the tab. S7 XL light. So if you remember last year the tab, s6 light came in just over 10 inches, and now we're looking at a 12.4 inch model, which is in line with what you get with the tab. S7 plus.

But it's going to be. You know, dubbed down in certain areas. LCD screen instead of the ammo, led it's not going to have the amazing snapdragon 865 plus likely a snapdragon 750 a couple other things, and we're going to talk about it in this video. But before we get into that, I do want to say if this is your first time stopping by the channel. Thank you for being here.

If you enjoy the video, please hit the like, and the subscribe button and little notification bell. If you want updates when new videos come out now, let's talk about the tab, s7 XL lite! So this whole naming convention change came out of the left field. That and, like I said, Evan blast real popular leaker guy, really accurate with a lot of stuff put out some information on it and, of course I was excited about it. A lot of the tech community was excited about it because we liked the tab s6 light. So now we're like yay tab, s7 light it's about to be here.

It's been almost a year should be here in June. Add some 5g spice it up in the processor department, a little move over from the Enos processor, give us a nice mid-tier, snapdragon 750g, pretty reasonable. I think 5g there's supposed to be four different variants, which is odd. There are four supposedly two of them have already passed through the FCC. It looks like we're going to get a Wi-Fi model, possibly a LTE model- that's probably going to be dependent on region because they have different models that come out different places, and then we're looking at a 5g model.

I like the idea of being able to get a Samsung tablet budget price, probably going to be a little more expensive this year, especially with the shortage of processors and all the different supply chain issues. We've had this last year and yeah it's going to be beefed up a little, so I'm expecting a little of a price bump. It was 349 last year for the tab. F6 lite change things up this year, 12.4-inch screen, so we've got about a two-inch improvement in the overall screen size still going to be an LCD, probably four, to six gigs of ram, depending on which size model that you get when it comes to storage, because, of course, Samsung is likely to throw two different size options out there. So they can charge more money because that's what they do, but also some new colors, and I'll have to pull my phone up here.

I can't remember the colors, but we've got like a pink color, maybe like the mystic bronze, I think they're still going with that, and then it looks like the mystic green and the black and the silver. So there's, and I think navy two, I think, there's going to be about five different colors and there's gonna, be like a folio cover case that you can pick up for it as well. You can see the overlay picture there, but overall I'm excited about it. I think it's going to be nice. The six light was a perfect step in the right direction.

It cut the legs out from under a lot of other android tablets, and it's like hey Samsung is really solidifying their position, not only as the mainstream flagship tablet. The token standard tablet as far as power and performance and everything in the android world to compete with iPad. But now they've got the budget series locked down too, and their budget series really kind of is better than most of the other normal series. Android tablets, you can get, so we're looking at colored styled folio cover cases to go with it. Of course, it's going to have an s pen.

I think it's even supposed to be a little upgraded and 5g bigger, screen LCD, more power. I think that this one's really going to ring home. Furthermore, I think it's going to be a lot better for a lot of people, and it will probably meet people's expectations, who were a little on the fence about maybe some power and performance issues of last year's model. So I like the direction they're headed in. Of course, you can still get the s6 light.

If you want to save some money likely, there will be a price drop on that, and I've seen them so much cheaper throughout the last year, so lots of exciting stuff. Here I think this name will probably stick the tab. S7 XL, lite and yeah we'll see where it goes from there, but I wanted to go ahead and get this out. Let you guys know the latest and greatest what I've heard. With regard to the new tablet and, like I said, two models already passed through the FCC, the other two have not yet still waiting to see what's going on there, but looking forward to what happens with this moving forward to the future and especially going into June, because hey we're about halfway through may already.

So that's all I've got in this video short sweet to the point cover all the stuff. Hopefully that's helpful, and we'll see where it goes from here. Maybe they'll change the name again, who knows, but that's all I've got. Hopefully this has been helpful. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave those down in the comment section, and I will get back with you if you enjoy the video please hit the like and the subscribe button and the little notification bell.

If you want updates when new videos come out and as always thanks for being here, I appreciate you watching, and I'll see you guys next time you.
