Hey guys so we have another experiment today. This one was something I was just kind of interested in, because I was wondering if the iPhone models as they get newer, do they actually get any faster right. Like I know, we have faster processors and all that kind of fun stuff. But what is it actually translating to in real life, so to figure that out I took the iPhone 10, the iPhone 8, plus the iPhone 7 plus, and the iPhone 6s plus, and set up a speed test. But first this video was kindly sponsored by phone. Monitor.
Boner is an app that allows you to easily monitor messages, phone calls, browser usage, social apps, the device's location and, basically anything else on your child or employees device. The app requires no routing or jail breaking. You simply log in with your iCloud account, but you have enabled on the phone for iOS or install the app for Android, and then you can see everything via their slick web interface from any web browser for more information on the app check out the link in the description below now. If you remember these space s1 I'm open to suggestions on better speed tests, let me know in the comments below, if you have a suggestion that can be easily controlled, be constructive, be nice. But let me know -.
Basically what it is I'm going to take a certain set of apps I'm, going to open them all and then time them so that each one is opened at the same time, and we can see which phone opens and renders the apps the quickest. Also, going to do the same thing with a few harder to do games. So with that said, let's get started so first up, let's start with Twitter the hand, oddly enough, the seven plus just beat the iPhone 10 then came the 6s plus and the 8 plus just completely out of whack. Next, let's do Facebook iPhone 10, followed by the 8 plus, followed by the 7 plus and quickly followed by the 6s plus. Next, let's do YouTube, and we have the 6s plus winning oddly enough and the seven plus an A plus tying followed by the iPhone 10.
Let's do Google Maps, and basically they're all identical, seven plus beating them by a fraction. The iPhone 10 after that and the eight plus last next up Pok?mon Go, and we're still waiting for the seven plus. There goes, so now we have the iPhone 8 plus winning followed by the iPhone, 6s plus, and then the iPhone 10 right after it, and something clearly went wrong here. The iPhone, 7 plus taking a much longer time next up. Let's do sonic dash, and it looks like the eight plus came.
First then, the 6s plus the seven plus and last the iPhone 10. And finally, let's try Mario run, and this one makes a lot more sense. The iPhone, ten and eight plus are basically identical, followed by the seven plus and the 6s plus in that order. There we go. So what can we learn from that? Well, as much as it seems like the 6s is winning sometimes and then whatever like the 10 is last sometimes and for the most part, the thing that I noticed was that there actually all, besides that one fluke with the 7 plus being really late, they're, all within a little short period of time of each other, which is interesting because it makes me think that, even though we're getting better processors and all this other power, and we're always talking with performance generation, this is the performance like actual opening, apps and rendering games and that kind of stuff is about the same.
No, no, that's necessarily a bad thing, because we do get a lot of other functions as well, but it seems like at least for these apps and these games and maybe be a little different, we're doing something, a little more intensive and trying to play a game and see if it lagged, and that was like super intense. Maybe that's when we'd start to see differences between the devices but otherwise, and they're pretty they're, pretty close. But what do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below I would love to hear from you guys about this test and other speed tests. You think I could do that might be better than this also about this one in particular, and what you guys think what you guys make of these results you enjoy this, though, please thumb up it or share. It's greatly appreciated.
