Speck - Presidio STAY CLEAR Case for Google Pixel 3 XL Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small techie, and today I am back with another big on boxing for you for that Google, pixel, 3x, L, and today we're back with a case room spec. This is gonna, be the Presidio stay clear series. Two one box do a quick review as always we'll throw up the link in the video description. If you guys want to check it out, pricing is gonna, be steep at 44 bucks. So it's really going to have to do a good job to WoW me over. For that type of price point.

We can get definitely comparable products for a lot less, so we'll check this one out, I have been always a big fan of the spec ace lineup, really like the Presidio series, especially that Presidio grip series, this one's going to be obviously that crystal clear, that's gonna show off that beautiful back of the pixel 3. Let's check out the presentation, you got this, you know very light weight, presentation, kind of got that echo eco-friendly, feel to it got the speck right there, design for impact, stay clear, and you get 8 feet, drop protection which is important to note, and then the back is gonna. Tell you about what kind of do this is dual layer protection I'm not really sure how they make that out. I guess it's just how they make the actual case itself, because it seems like a single layer to me: let's go and get to the unboxing pop it opens. This is a nice presentation because you can just if you're, in a store- and you guys want to check it out.

Usually you can just pop this out like this. If you're gonna, Best, Buy, and you're like I, want to see if this actually fits my phone. Usually let you go ahead and do that which is nice. You can pop it open without actually having you know, to buy the phone fur or buy the case first, which is nice to kind of try it before you buy, especially for that price point which is expensive. You want to see if this is something you actually want to keep.

Let's be honest with you. So this is the actual case itself. It actually is kind of it's got a hard plastic to the back of it, which I'm impressed by it. So it's transitions from almost like a gel, like finish on the sides on the bumper to a hard plastic on the back, which has got a nice feel to it very. It feels premium for a crystal clear case.

I'm not gonna lie about that. You got the fingerprint sensor right. There got the camera cut out now on the inside. This one does have little micro dots that does help out with that rainbow effect when I say rainbow effect on these crystal-clear ones. A lot of times when you got that glass back, and it's going against that crystal clear gel, like finish it'll, create this like rainbow effect where these little dots small dots on the inside will actually create a barrier.

So it helps out with that. In my opinion, which is definitely a good thing, so this one's actually does have a really nice premium quality to it, got just a little branding right there and that's pretty much it in terms of overall branding out see any type of other branding. I, think that's it! The the size do I wish I had a little more grip to the sides, but overall it's definitely got a sturdy, durable type feel to it. So, let's go and pop it in see how it looks should be beautiful with that actual white, let's check walk it down and wipe it down. So there you go.

You got that completely white. This one should look good with all you know the pink one, the black one or the white one, whatever you guys are rocking got the G logo popping through looking beautiful, fingerprint sensor. You can see that cutout right there. It is very precise, easy to get to very nicely done. You can see that cut off is very nice, and it's just a transition easy to the actual fingerprint sensor now they're getting a lot of camera coverage.

Look at that! That's a nice job with the camera coverage. Look at that nice lip around it, you're, getting almost like how deep that is for the camera coverage, so you're getting some nice camera coverage all the way around, which is very impressive. For essentially, you know I'm, not gonna, say minimalist case, but a case like this. Now one thing I've noticed: that's a nice lip! You can see that nice lip coverage all the way around, because everybody likes a fat say lip. Look at that lip coverage all the surrounding way'm rocking a temper glass screen protector with this right now, and you can see that lip coverage right there just give you guys some different angles, so you're getting some decent protection.

So if you do drop it, your hope, and it's going to hit that lip first, and it does have that lip where it kind of curves in, so it should give you so got some extra impact right there. Now the plus sides are clean, just the one cutout right there for the power volume up and down now these are a little. These are not click and responsive. These are pretty much terrible. They could have done a lot better job.

These are very tough to push buttons, not sure why they're going to ruin such a good case with the buttons that are tough to press. Even the power button is tough to press. So that would be my only gripe with this particular case. Otherwise, I'd say it's a hit, so I'm going to have to take some points off for that good to me, that's a big deal I button, soft and click over, although this is definitely a nice case, it's expensive, but it's going to give you some nice protection. Are there better alternatives out there? I would say probably yeah for that price point, but it's definitely a quality case.

That's going to give you some nice protection for your pixel. Three, so I would say it's a mini hit. My it would have been a big hit, except for these buttons and in the price point. Otherwise, it'd have been a big hit, so we're going to call it a mini hit because it does look gorgeous showing off that white. Just very clean.
