Side by Side Comparison | Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus vs Note 20 Ultra (Spec's)

How's it going YouTube sick, Eric back again with another video, and today we are going to be doing a quick spec comparison between the Samsung Galaxy s, 21 plus, and the note 20 ultra two really, really excellent devices, one being of 2021 and probably the best Samsung device of 2020. The note 20 ultra really nicely built phones really nicely spec phones. Just these things are just absolutely amazing: we're going to be going on over the specs of each one and let you guys determine for yourselves which one you might want to pick up and things like that. So let's go ahead and jump down into it. So, first, if you guys aren't, subscribed, go ahead and hit that subscribe button right now to subscribe to my channel about 90 of you guys watching this video aren't subscribed. Only one percent are subscribed to my channel and are watching my videos.

So I really appreciate that and go ahead and hit that, like button, give me a thumbs up just for shits and giggles. So let's go ahead and jump down into it with the display. So, starting off with the note 20 ultra, you have a 6.9 inch dynamic, AMOLED display, and it is 120 hertz and HDR.10 uh compatible hdr10 plus that is, and it is an uh HD display, with a resolution of 1440x3088 with 496 pixels per inch, for you are you guys who are pixel peeping, and it is corn covered in corning, gorilla, glass Vic. This you do have an always on display, just like all your other Samsung devices, which is really cool. I cannot live without and always on, display uh.

It is 120 hertz, but only at 1080p. But if you go down to 60, you will get that full resolution. HD uh display- and this display is absolutely amazing. Going on over to the s21 plus. You also get a 6.7 inch dynamic, AMOLED display, and it is 120 hertz as well, and it also does uh. It is also compatible with HDR 10.

Plus you get a resolution of 1080 by 2400, and you do have 394 pixels per inch, so a little less on the PPI just because uh it is a little of a smaller phone. It is only a full HD plus display 1080p compared to 1440 over here on the note, but I am running them both at 120 hertz, so they pretty much are exactly the same as far as quality goes. So really, really nice displays on both of these. You will not be disappointed with either one of them. They are just really, really excellent.

Displays no issues whatsoever, both fast and fluid 120 hertz, refresh rate displays the best that you can get right now. Uh are the Samsung panels. They just make really, really nice panels, and they are probably my favorites going on over to the body starting off with the note 20 ultra as far as dimensions go. It is a 6.49 inch tall, 3.04 wide, and you do get a thickness of about 0.32 inches. So it is a really, really thin foam, but a really wide and tall foam really, really nice in the hand.

I really do like this squared off design over the curved edges on the Samsung Galaxy s21. That's just my preference to each's own uh, corning, gorilla, glass, victim, of course, like I said earlier, it does weigh 7.34 ounces. So it's not that heavy. It's actually really, really light and um really, really nice feeling phone, ip68, water and dust resistance, of course, and you do get the s pen stylus right there, which is really nice, add some extra functionality to your phone. You can do a lot, drawing signed documents, everything with the s pen, which really differentiates this from any other smartphone.

Is the s pen, so really, really nice. If you prefer that I'm doing a little quick walkthrough over each phone of the note, 20 plus you do get your power button and your volume rocker on the right hand, side on the left hand, side you get nothing on the bottom. You get your s pen, your bottom firing speaker USB type c and microphone up top. You get another microphone and your sim card tray with your micro SD card expansion on the back. Furthermore, you get your triple camera set up with your um laser autofocus, and there is also another microphone right here.

Tucked away on the in between the uh frame and the camera- and you do get your Samsung logo at the bottom really, really nice. This is the mystic white color excellent, looking device, no complaints whatsoever. I really love this color combination with the silver and the white going on over to the s21 as far as dimensions go uh. Let's see here, you do get a size of 6.36 inches tall, 2.98 wide and 0.31 inches thick, so it is almost as thin as the note 20, but it's definitely smaller than the note 20 ultra. It weighs about 7.05 ounces again with the corning gorilla glass Vitus on the front and on the back, which is really nice, aluminum frame, of course, on it. Ip68 water and dust resistance as well.

So really, really nice build quality on either one of these and design language. I really do like both of these. I am leaning a little more towards the note 20 ultra, just because I really like this design, but this is Samsung's new design on their new latest flagships, which is a nice glass back frosted, glass back and the new camera design, which sort of melts into the frame really, really nice design, no complaints whatsoever on that. But, like I said, I lean more towards the note 20. Again, you also get an always on display on the s21 plus you got your power button and volume rocker on the right hand, side a little high up for my liking.

The note 20 definitely a little easier to get considering its height, but the s21. They are a little higher up, which I don't know why they did that at the bottom. You get your USB type-c and your sim tray, no micro, SD card support on the s21 plus you get a microphone and your speaker grille on the top. You get two mics and nothing else. On the left-hand side nothing on the back.

You get your triple camera setup flash and your Samsung logo at the bottom. So really, really nice excellent, looking devices to each is on which ones you might prefer for me, like I said I prefer the note 20, it just looks more elegant and more premium uh going on over to the platform. Both of these are running android 11 with Samsung's one UI on there. The um s21 excuse me is running uh Samsung's, one UI 3.1 latest and greatest from Samsung, and it is android 11. , while over here on the note, 20 ultra uh, you are running android, 11 Samsung, one UI 3.0. So still both really, really good.

You do get some extra features over here on the Samsung over then the note, but the features aren't that much they are pretty much exactly the same as for our software goes uh. As far as processor goes uh. These s21 plus comes with the new snapdragon 888 processors, 8, gigabytes of ram and 128 gigabytes of internal storage. That is not expandable, while over here on the note 20 ultra, you do get the snapdragon 865, plus variant, uh, 12, gigabytes of ram, and this particular variant has 128 gigabytes of storage. You can get 256 and 512 options over here on the note, and you also get that micro SD card expansion up top so really, really nice on the note 20.

As far as GPU goes arena 650 GPU, while over here on the Samsung Galaxy s20, you get the arena 660 GPU, so really, really nice. Both of these, the phones are, are really, really fast. No hiccups, no lag whatsoever. The note does have that advantage. As far as uh ram goes having more ram double the ram over the s21, but with the s21's new snapdragon 888, you will not notice that difference.

They are both very, very fast and very fluid. No hang-ups whatsoever on either one of these, so yeah performance on these are absolutely killer. So no issues whatsoever in that department going on over to the cameras we're going to start off with the note 20 ultra now you do get a lot better camera system over here on the note 20 compared to the s21. As far as your main sensor goes, you get a 108 megapixel main sensor, aperture of f 1.8, really, really nice. You get laser.

Autofocus optical in image, stabilization. Everything is on the note 20. You also get a 12 megapixel uh periscope telephoto lens, which is this one at the bottom really, really nice, you get an aperture of f 3.0 on that one five times optical zoom, and you can zoom 50 times of hybrid zoom, so really, really nice more options on the note 20 and then finally, you also get to 12 megapixel ultra-wide, which is an aperture f, 2.2, really, really nice. This phone is capable of recording up to 8k video recording, which is just absolutely crazy over here. It does also do 4k, 60 and 30 1080p, 60 and 30 as well front facing camera is a 10 megapixel with an aperture of f 2.2 and really, really nice. You can record up to 4k on the front facing camera as well, so the camera system over here on the note 20, definitely a lot more advanced than the camera system on the s21.

So going on over to the s21s cameras, you got three camera system on the back. You get a 12 megapixel main sensor, aperture of f 1.8, and you do have is as well. No laser autofocus, unfortunately, over here you got a 64 megapixel telephoto lens, and that lens is at aperture of f 2.0, and it does do one time: optical zoom and three times hybrid zoom and then finally, you get your 12 megapixel ultra-wide with an aperture of f 2.2 and then the front-facing camera again is going to be a 10 megapixel front-facing camera. You can record up to 8k video on the rear and the uh. You could also do your 4k, 60, 30, 1080, 60 30 front facing camerae, can record up to 4k 60 frames per second as well, both really, really nice cameras.

Furthermore, you will not be disappointed, but the note 20 definitely has that more advanced camera system over the s21 plus both of these have stereo speakers. So really, really nice in the audio department. Uh. You get your bottom firing speaker over here. I definitely prefer the placement on the s21 over the note 20.

Just because note 20, you tend to cover that speaker up when you're holding it like. So I would have preferred it up top. I don't know what they were thinking sliding everything on over to the left hand, side. They should have kept the s pen over here and the speaker over here, but I guess that camera bump did not allow for that room inside uh, the s21 speaker, definitely in a better spot and of course, both of these utilize, the earpiece as your secondary speaker on there. They both have Dolby Atmos, so really, really nice in the audio department.

As far as that goes lots of customizations here for customizing, your audio, you get your movie, your music and your voice, and you also get a bunch of different types of equalizers on here as well on both of these really, really nice audio Bluetooth.5.0. On the let's see, I believe it is on the s21 plus you get to 5.0 as well. On the note, 20. , Bluetooth, audio sounds really, really nice on both of these no headphone jacks, like I said on either one so rip the headphone jack on both of these. Both of these do have an in display fingerprint sensor, as you can see right here at the bottom, and both of them are fast and reliable.

The s21 takes a lead, though, with having that bigger sensor underneath the display, so it is a little more forgiving as far as uh misses, and you know not reading your fingerprints, the note 20 is a little more uh, not as reliable as the s21, just because it has that smaller sensor, but both of these are really fast, and you also get face unlock on both of these as well, which is nice. If I can get the s21 to unlock there, you go, you do get the option for face unlock on both of these, which a lot of phones aren't, including nowadays, which is a sad thing. Uh stereo speakers going back. They are tuned by AKG uh. You do get Bluetooth 5.0, like I mentioned earlier, USB type c at the bottom. The note 20 ultra is USB type c 3.2, while over here on the uh s21 do as well. Both of these have wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

The battery over here on the s21 plus is a 4 800 William hour battery, and you do get 25 fast, 25 watt fast charging over here and your wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, while over here on the note, you get a 4 500 William hour battery 25 watt charging as well wireless charging and reverse power. Shell share over here on the note 20 as well. Both of these do offer the DEX and the wireless deck support on both of these with the new update. So that's really cool. You connect both of these to your computer, monitor or TV, and you can run them as a little mini desktop on there and pretty much use your phone as a desktop.

So that's really, really cool on both of these, both really, really nice excellent devices uh the s21, the colors. This one comes in is phantom black phantom silver phantom violet and I think, there are other colors that not out yet the phantom pink gold and the phantom red. This is the phantom black color really, really nice. This is these. This is a T-Mobile variant.

So keep that in mind when I picked this up, they only had two colors phantom black and a phantom silver. I chose the black while over here on the note 20 ultra, you do get different colors you get a mystic, bronze, mystic black and a mystic white. This is being the mystic white. This is an unlocked Samsung model, so it's not a carrier branded model, so you do get updates a little quicker with Samsung's over T-Mobile's variants. As far as software updates go, and both of these are going to be supported for the next four years as far as system updates and everything like that security patches from Samsung, they just knew announced that not too long ago, so they are going to be updated for the next four years, and we should be getting android 12 on both these, hopefully, in the future, the near future um both of them really, really excellent devices.

You cannot go wrong with either one of them as far as design wise goes. It's totally up to you guys as far as which one you prefer the most. For me, I prefer to know 20 just because it's a bigger, nicer, more professional, looking phone while over here on the s21, it's more of a laid back look. You know like really nice sleek and stealthy uh phone, but as far as size goes they are both almost the same size just a little smaller over here on the s21 and, of course, the note 20 being more of a beast. You do get your s pen support on the note 21, which is a lot nicer.

Furthermore, you know you could take notes and do things like that so compared to the s21. The note 20 definitely takes the cake as far as functionality goes so subscribe and like this video yeah. So you can take notes on here, so really, really cool that you could do that on the note 20 ultra and the s21 does not have uh s pen support only the s21 ultra has that s pen support, and it's really not that great. You know you don't get the Bluetooth functionality that you get on the note 20 ultra, so yeah really, really excellent devices. You can't go wrong with either one of them.

The note 20 can be bought for a little less. Now, I'm pretty sure you can find some good deals on it. I was able to get this one for 6.99 with the trade-in. The s21 plus is a little overpriced. In my opinion, it is 9.99, but on Amazon I believe they're having some discounts on Amazon, you can get either it's 100 or 200 off uh the new s21 series, so yeah, it's up to you guys the s21 regular version is probably the way to go. If you are going to get it at a discount this one, I do not recommend paying the full thousand dollars for it.

You might as well, spend 200 more and get the ultra version or save some money and get the regular version we're all over here. On the note 20 as far as T-Mobile goes, they are still not discounting this device just yet, but I'm pretty sure you can find some excellent devices on Samsung and on Amazon to get this at a lower price, probably the same price that you can get the s21 and this phone is still an absolute beast with last year's chipset. This thing is no slouch. This is one of my favorite phones of last year. Is the note 20 ultra so with that being said, guys hope you enjoyed this video Paris in between the Samsung, galaxy, s21 plus, and the note 20 ultra two really excellent devices at this time.

The best you could get you know other than the s21 ultra. These two are really, really nice and if you can't get, can get them at a discounted price, I definitely suggest looking at these so hope you enjoyed this video thumbs up. If you did thumbs down, if you didn't, that is quite all right subscribe, do all the other jazz stay safe out there guys, and I will see you guys in the next video peace.
