SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FOLD 3 - Officially Revealed! By TT Technology

The Samsung Galaxy z, fold 3, has been officially revealed by Samsung, and I'll be sharing the details right after this today, we've got the reveal of the Samsung Galaxy z, fold 3 from Samsung, and it's not only going to be better than we expected, but it's also going to be cheaper before we get started, though, please like the video, if you're a fan of Samsung. So first story of the day is that while we knew the z fold, 3 was going to support an s pen, it turns out it's actually going to be supporting the s pen. Pro FCC filing has been discovered for the new s pen pro, and it's a more versatile s-pen than the original. We can see from the FCC filing that the s-pen pro is going to have Bluetooth connectivity, and it charges by an USB type-c cable, which makes sense for the z fold 3, as the folding phone has nowhere to house it.

It also seems like the best option, for consumers is those that want to use an s-pen with the z fold.3 can purchase one and those that don't use the s pen won't have to next up. We've got the Galaxy Z, fold, 3 appearing antenna certification, and it's revealed key specs about the device. The certification confirms that we're getting a 7.5 inch main inner display and a 6.2 inch external display, meaning that the previous leaks were correct. It also confirms that the z fold 3 is using the snapdragon 8 system on chip and, while we thought we'd be getting a smaller battery thanks to a smaller phone, that's not the case at all. The certification reveals a 4 500 William hour battery on the z fold, 3, which is actually the same size as the predecessor with a more efficient system on chip and the LPO display.

This means that battery life should be better on the z fold.3. next up, we've had plenty of reports in the past about folding phones being cheaper this year, and it turns out they're, correct Navarre, published some pricing information for the z fold 3 in South Korea, and while pricing isn't directly comparable between regions, it does show us a considerable cut. The z fold.3 is gonna, be costing just under two million South Korean one, which is roughly one thousand seven hundred dollars, and it should be about this price for USA, two, the fold two launched at 2.3 million South Korean one, which is just over two thousand dollars. So that's a three hundred dollar price cut. As we know, Samsung are trying to push foldable smartphones in increased market share with better specs as well as these pricing cuts than they are likely to succeed.

Now next up, we've got the reveal of the Samsung Galaxy z, fold 3, but this time it was from Samsung. Yesterday Samsung published the voice of galaxy trailer, and during this trailer we get a peek at the z fold 3. At the 50-second mark. We see a woman holding a folding device which is likely to be the z fold 3, although the protective case covering it does hide a lot of detail. We can, however, see the more subtle triple camera system in the new z fold 3.

If we zoom in- and we know this is correct- thanks to the leaked promo we saw in the past. So this is definitely the z fold 3, so the Galaxy Z fold 3 is looking incredible, and it's everything I wanted it to be. We know pretty much everything about the specs now, but hopefully, Samsung do have some surprises for us when it's launched in August for everyone like me, that is excited about the z fold.3, though we're now going to run through the full specs design and the pricing to help you guys decide if this is the phone for you. So when it comes to the Samsung Galaxy z fold 3, the main inner display is actually going to be smaller than the predecessor coming in at 7.5 inches. It is, of course, only 0.1 inches smaller, and it's going to be a LPO panel with 120 hertz. Refresh rate resolution is currently unconfirmed, but it's likely to remain close to the 2208 by 1768.

We saw on the predecessor, and it's going to be the first folding phone to support the s pen. This is thanks to an increase in screen protection with a 60 micrometer ultra-thin glass. Now the front display is reportedly remaining the same size as the predecessor and comes with a 6.2 inch AMOLED display. So if the inner display is reducing in size- and this display remains the same, then we're hoping for slightly trimmed down bezels when it comes to the cameras, we're getting a punch or selfie camera on the front display and an in-display selfie camera on the main. The exact lenses and sensors are not known at the moment, although we do expect them to be similar to the 10 megapixel wide angles that we saw in the predecessor when it comes to the rear, we're expecting a triple camera setup in the new subtle camera housing.

And there are many reports of minor changes. If any. So expect a 12 megapixel wide, a 12 megapixel telephoto and a 12 megapixel ultrawide camera when it comes to ram and storage, we're expecting the z fold 3 to come with 12 gigabytes of ddr5 ram and a choice of 128 256 or 512 internal storage. There were rumors of an AMD and Samsung chipset, but it looks like the fold three is going to be using the snapdragon triple eight. It's all going to be powered by a 4 500 William hour battery with 25 watt fast charging, and while it is slightly smaller than last year's model, with the same capacity, a more efficient chip and a LPO display, then we should see better battery life on the z fold 3.

We will of course, ship with one UI three based on android 11, and it's going to be available in beige black green or silver color options. When it comes to pricing, Samsung are going to be cutting the price of the z fold 3 to help push foldable phones and the z fold.3 is going to be starting from just 1700. So, overall the Samsung Galaxy z fold 3 is looking like an incredible phone, and it's great to see more innovation in the smartphone industry with plenty of leaked information coming through. We can be pretty sure that most of the information is correct, but with launch expected in August, then it's not long until we get the official confirmation from Samsung.
