Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3: Everything You Need to Know | Cell Guru

Greetings and welcome this is Rajiv making on the Salguero show and boy do. I have a super packed show for you today, we'll start off with Samsung unpack 2021, a new fold phone, a new flip phone galaxy watch for new TWS here, but I'll tell you a little about them. Four, three: more solid sleek under display camera s, pen, the z flip. Finally, now has a huge display outside and solid specs inside galaxy watch. Four galaxy watch, four classic Galaxy Buds too. We'll actually talk about all of these a quick preview, then the Oppo Renault, 6, 5g, camera, centric, great video features and the MediaTek dimension.900. Then the word 2 versus the word ce5 jeep not too launched with a lot of hype, all justified, but the word CE 5g was launched a few months back.

So what's the big difference, let's get started with today's show and of course, before we get started with all of that, all the news coming in from the world of mobile, but I'm not going to leave you hanging there, but tell you a little now. It is estimated that the iPhone 13, those rumors, are now almost confirmed and strong. That it'll have portrait video lots of filters and a much smaller notch, and the other part that I have to tell you is the meme x4 launched in China incredible phone, but I don't think it's going to come to India. Let's take a look at all this news. Xiaomi has just revealed the meme expo, the company's latest china only flagship that is meant as a showcase for its hardware innovations.

The ceramic clad phone is amongst the first to include an under display camera, which gives you a clean inhibited display to work on. Other specs include a fast snapdragon, 888 plus chipsets, as well as 108 megapixel camera. At the back. The phone even includes 120 watts fast charging to go from 0 to 100 in 21 minutes. The phone is priced at 5000 yuan, which is 58 000 rupees, but will only be available in China.

It's almost time for fresh iPhones and the leaks are flooding in while the iPhone 12 was all about a fresh design and improvements to photography. It appears that the next-gen iPhone will set its sight on video Bloomberg is reporting that the upcoming iPhone series expected to debut later this year will introduce multiple new enhancements to video capabilities. The biggest of these is the ability to record video in portrait. Mode apple is also leveraging its AI and machine learning capabilities. To add filters to video expected to be called cinematic.

Video. The feature will enhance specific elements of the video instead of applying a filter across the frame. Additionally, the top end model is believed to add in proves video support similar to poorly introduced on the iPhone 12 Pro proves video will read in more detail and give avid videographers more control over how the final footage looks. More exciting, however, is the rumor that the latest iPhones are expected to get a significantly smaller. Notch apple traditionally introduces its latest iPhones in September, so apple fans shouldn't have to wait too long before they can get their hands on Cupertino later, let's start off with our top story: Samsung unpack, 2021 and boy.

This was a big event for Samsung the 4-3 6.2 inches folded opens to a 7.6 inch slate 120 hertz, refresh rate on the outer and inner screen s pen, now ipx8 rating under display camera and about eighteen hundred dollars. So we'll review that, then we look at the z flip three. Now nice big screen. In fact the outer screen has become four times bigger, ipx8 rating, again 120 hertz good processor under one thousand dollars watch for classic lots and lots of cool stuff out there and, of course, they've also got the new earbuds. So let's take a look at everything that Samson announced, Samsung's flagship showcase for the second half of the year is here, and the company has finally unpacked all the goodies it has lined up for the year ahead from foldable phones to a whole ecosystem of wearables and audio products to go with the new phones.

Samsung's latest launch was a testament to the company's commitment to the foldable form factor. It also basically confirmed that the Galaxy Note series is no more. Let's take a closer look at everything. Samsung launched. First up the Samsung Galaxy z fold 3 the flagship of the lineup this year, Samsung has focused on refinement, and it is bringing along a whole host of features from across Samsung's portfolio for the ride to make it the ultimate device for Samsung users.

The phone keeps the design familiar with its use of glass and aluminum on the outside. You will find a 120 hertz 6.2-inch screen for everyday use, this time with gorilla glass Vitus for added protection unfolding. The phone, however, reveals bolder changes. The 7.6 inch display offers expansive space to work on. In fact, the z43 is Samsung's first phone with an under display camera that makes the screen area looks even bigger and more seamless.

The 4 megapixel camera is significantly less visible than a traditional camera, though it remains to be seen if the quality will suffer. Additionally, the display now supports s pen input, making it an excellent replacement for fans of the now gone Galaxy Note series Samsung is also adding in software enhancement like better multitasking support and a more desktop like experience. Other improvements include a fast snapdragon 888 processors, as well as a triple camera setup on the back. Next up is the Samsung Galaxy z, flip 3. That brings the foldable experience to a much smaller form factor.

The z, flip 3 is getting major improvements to the form factor with a two-tone design that looks premium and chic outside you will find a much larger 1.9 inch display that can not only display notifications but can also be used to place widgets for quick access. Samsung has even added gorilla glass victors and stronger aluminum to the construction for a more resilient design. Additionally, like the galaxy z43, the z-flip 3 is now ipx8 rated for added protection from splashes, so you can safely use the phone around the pool without worries. A quick flip of the phone reveals a large 6.7 inch AMOLED display with a 120 hertz, refresh rate perfectly suited for multimedia consumption powering the phone is a snapdragon 888 chipsets. Unfortunately, not much has changed on the battery front and the 3300 my cell here should be good enough for a day of use.

Similarly, you continue to get two 12 megapixel cameras, including a wide and an ultra-wide angle, lens no telephoto sensors. Here, the z flip 3 also misses out on the under display camera from the z fold 3. Accompanying the two phones. Samsung has also introduced two new smartwatches, the galaxy watch 4 and the galaxy watch classic are the first watches to be powered by Google's brand-new Wear OS platform that was developed in collaboration with Samsung the entry-level galaxy watch.4 combines an aluminum case with a rubber strap and is designed for all they use available in two different sizes, 40 mm and 44 mm. The watch is powered by Samsung's latest Enos, w920 chipset, which would keep things fast and fluid.

Additionally, Samsung has added a range of fitness features, including body composition, analysis, sleep, tracking, snow detection, blood, oxygen, saturation, ECG and, of course, heart rate monitoring. However, if you want something a bit more premium, the galaxy watch, 4 classic, should be right up your alley with its stainless steel or aluminum case. The watch even includes a rotating bezel for easier control. Over the watch interface like the galaxy watch 4, the watch 4 classic will be available in two sizes, 42 mm and 46 mm, giving users an option to find a watch that fits their wrist perfectly. Finally, rounding off the event Samsung showed off their latest pair of true wireless earphones.

The Galaxy Buds, too are designed for comfort and all-day use. Samsung claims that the buds, too are its smallest and lightest earbuds. Yet, however, despite the small size, Samsung has improved to both feature set and battery life. The earphones now include active noise cancellation, as well as up to five hours of battery life on a single charge. A quick five-minute charge should give you an additional hour of use.

All the new products are expected to make their way to India in the coming weeks, and we'll have more for you on Samsung's latest very soon, right here, on cell guru and from there. Let's move on to another phone. This is from Oppo beautiful phone. OPPO really does good-looking phones, but the Oppo Renault, six 5g, with its beautiful Renault glow matte finish very lightweight 182 grams, very slim body Oppo does great looking phones right, but the know. The part that I really liked is they've really got a fantastic screen: 6.43 inch, AMOLED, 90, hertz, great processor, MediaTek diamond city 900, but it's with its triple camera setup and the fact that this is a very video centric image. Centric everything is to do with the camera phone that I really like by the way 65 watt fast charger in the box, and it's priced under 30 000 rupees not long ago, smartphone displays were getting bigger and the battery was getting more formidable.

As a result, the devices often felt too clunky almost uncomfortable to clasp for long periods. OPPO'sflagship Renault series typifies the new slim trend, the brand's latest device. The Renault 65g is loaded with top tier hardware, but its biggest draw could be the form factor, but can it compete in an already crowded, 30 000 segments? Let's find out, Oppo establishes its design province with Oppo Renault 6 5g. That not only looks but also feels premium, especially in the Renault glow finish, which looks absolutely breathtaking. The rear panel has a matte finish with an iridescent glow that changes color when light falls on it.

In contrast to the pro variant with rounded edges, the Oppo Renault 6 5g comes with a flat blocky design, which is reminiscent of the iPhone 12 series. The display is also protected by gorilla glass 5 and also comes with a factory fitted screen guard. Additionally, the Oppo Renault 65g is also super lightweight, weighing nearly 182 grams and sports, a thickness of 7.59 millimeter, making it extremely sleek and attractive. Moving on to the display, the Oppo Renault 6 5g comes packing a 6.43 inch AMOLED display with full HD plus resolution and 90 hertz refresh rate support. The fast refresh rate ensures a smooth scrolling and flicking between apps.

The display itself is very good, with good visibility in the sunlight with bright punchy colors. Overall, the Renault 65g also supports HDR 10 plus making consuming out content a pleasurable exercise. The Renault 6 5g comes with a MediaTek diamond city 900 and is one of the first smartphones in India to use its 6?nm processor, which is paired with 8gb of ram and 128gb of UFS 2.1 storage. The phone does excellent in day-to-day tasks such as calling texting, browsing the web and social media multitasking and being able to keep several apps running without glitches was a breeze on the Oppo Renault 65g. The Renault 6 with the diamond 3d 900, supports 13 5g bands and will serve you well when 5g services are launched in the country.

As for gaming, the phone performs adequately well when running games with smooth graphics and frame rates. There were occasional hiccups or frame drops during longer gaming sessions, but nothing that's a dealbreaker now. It is all good. The Renault 65g phone misses out on dual stereo speakers, which is pretty disappointing at this price point. Seeing many budget phones have incorporated it.

Moving on to the software, the phone runs android 11 on top of color OS 11.3, while color OS provides plenty of customization options and a decent look. It is loaded with bloatware in the form of third-party apps. Some Oppo apps cannot be uninstalled as well, so it is not the cleanest experience. OPPO has the reputation of putting in a lot of extra effort for its phone's cameras and the Oppo Renault 6 is a good example of that: the phone houses, a 64 megapixel primary lens, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. The primary sensor turns out detailed and vibrant shots in daylight, with good colors and dynamic range.

The ultra white captures pretty decent pictures in daylight with good-looking colors. However, the dynamic range is lacking a bit on this lens. The 2 megapixel macro lens shoots, mediocre shots with details, often lacking and the subject, isn't always in focus the phone's, 32 megapixel selfie. Camera offers good detail and colors in most scenarios and even has pretty decent low light performance. The phone also brings along with it some fascinating.

Video features such as OPPO's 4k, flare, video mode that adds cinematic effects in portrait, videos, the opp, Renault 6 5g houses, a moderately sized 4300 my battery. That is enough to last most users through the day and with a 65 watt, fast charger supplied in the box, the device can be charged in a jiffy priced at rupees 29 999, the Oppo Renault 6 stands tall amidst its competition due to its stellar eye-catching design and good overall performance, but for people that can look past the design. There are plenty of appealing options in this mid-range category of smartphones. Let's move on now to our next top story, and I'm doing two phones in a shootout, but guess what both phones are from the same company. We usually don't do this, but a lot of you have been asking for this.

The not 2 just came out not CE 5g just came out a short while back so two phones from that same family of word. What's the big difference? Is there a big difference? You know the price point is actually fairly similar, three four thousand rupees here or there. So let's take a look: the node two versus the word CE 5g. At a time when the tech world is flooding with upper mid-rangers, we have another one, as one would expect. The OnePlus note 2 has joined the growing word lineage, but then the north ce5g was launched a couple of months ago.

Clearly, the original word was a success, but the same cannot be said about the word CE 5g. We tell you how the not 2 is different from the word ce5g and what it brings to the table that the former did not the most beautiful and modern design belongs to the OnePlus word 2 5g. The camera module is designed better further. The handset has a glass back protected by gorilla glass 5, which improves the build quality. However, the OnePlus not CE 5g is a thinner and lighter form, so it still has its charm OnePlus trademark alert.

Slider is given a miss on the word CE 5g, but it makes up by offering a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, which the not 2 skips. Both the devices feel comfortable and ergonomic when using there are not many differences between the displays of both the phones as they are almost the same. These handsets are equipped with a 6.43 inch, fluid AMOLED panel, sporting, hdr10 plus certification for supported content and being an AMOLED panel. The display is bright, and the colors are vibrant, which are great for media consumption, thin bezels on the side with a punch, hole camera also. Ups, the media viewing experience.

While we wish both these devices supported a faster 120, hertz refresh and not just capped at only 90 hertz. But in our experience the difference is negligible and hardly noticeable in day day-to-day use. They also come with a fast and accurate in-display fingerprint reader for authentication, unlike its more affordable siblings, which come with mid-range glass hardware. The OnePlus word 2 5g is a flagship killer. This time, OnePlus has gone with MediaTek's flagship, chipset, density, 1200, AI paired, with up to 12 GB ram and fast UFS, 3.1 storage. Whereas the word CE 5g has a snapdragon 750 genes, we noticed daily tasks and multitasking to be a smooth sail on both devices.

It was only in gaming when we felt that not ce5g could not keep up, and all this performance is based by a smooth and stutter-free experience. Curtsy of oxygen OS OnePlus software is neat easy to use and doesn't try and load the phone up with too many bundled services and load wear. As a result, the phone remains nippy and trouble free for longer on the rear side. OnePlus not two 5g has a more advanced camera setup than the word CE 5g. The note 2 comprises a 50 megapixel main sensor, which is the same as the OnePlus 9's ultra white camera, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixel monochromatic lens outdoor images, look well exposed with great detail and natural looking colors in comparison, the word CE packs, more megapixels into its 64 megapixel main shooter, but the images look flat and lose out details in the dark part of the shots.

The ultra-wide lens shots are also much better captured by the north too. The 32 megapixel selfie camera on the note 2 does a better job in capturing sharper images than the 16 megapixel front facing camera on the word ce5g. Both the note 2 and word CE 5g can comfortably last a day with moderate to heavy use thanks to a bigger battery of 45 my capacity, but the only differentiator is the not 2 offers 65 watt fast charging, whereas the north ce5t is limited to just 30 watt priced at 29 999, the OnePlus word 2 is the better phone owing to its sleeker design, better performance and improved shooting smarts, and we would say it's worth the cash if you can spare it. Let's take a quick break right now on the show when we come back lots more happening on cell guru. We all know now that our phone does every single thing, but an important thing that you should be doing is carrying your covet vaccination certificate on your phone.

How do you do that? Well, Rubin is going to tell us. Lockdown restrictions are lifting your favorite restaurant is now finally open, and you are planning to head out for a good meal. However, the restaurant asks you for a vaccination certificate that you forgot to carry along its a situation that can happen to anyone, but there's an easy way to solve. The problem, instead of a paper certificate, it is a smartphone in your pocket that should be the hub of your vaccination records. The most obvious app to keep on hand is Arabia setup developed by the government of India.

The app is a convenient hub for all covert, related information, booking slots, keeping a track of vaccination records and also keeping an offline copy of your vaccination certificate, a self-assessment included in the Aruba set app lets users update the vaccination status. If you have got a single shot, a tap stating partial vaccination status then gets added to the home screen. You will then receive an OTP message from COVID, which will verify your vaccination status fully. Vaccinated users will also get a blue shield in the app you can now download your vaccination certificate on the app which will indicate the current status of vaccination as well. Another convenient location to store all your vaccination details is the digit locker app.

Now the single app lets, you store a range of documents, including your driving license, but also vaccine certificates once locked in. You just need to add your beneficiary ID arrogance to a number and the certificate will get downloaded to the app and can also be saved on the phone. WhatsApp is the backbone of communications in India, and you can even use the chat app to store your vaccine certificate. Simply message download certificate to and the 901-315-1515 chatbot will reply with your vaccine certificate. Finally, you can simply save the certificate to your phone's gallery, app and easily access it whenever needed.

So there you go easy ways to make sure that your vaccine certificate is always on hand and readily available. No matter where you are. That, then was the sell guru show for this week, lots of great stuff coming up next week. This is Rajiv making signing off I'll, see you next week. You.
